I got this as a present for my boyfriend who loves Mario and I am totally impressed! The light it gives out is better than I expected and it makes the mushroom growth sound like you head on the game itself! It makes the perfect present and is just the right size, so it doesn’t take up too much room on a shelf.
Very nice branded official item. It works well and the sound us good. But the light Is very weak and not very practical. More of a nice quality novelty item or prop. I used it in mario races as a landmark so maybe you can too!
My twins are totally into anything and everything Super Mario, so this was a very welcome addition to their bedroom. Lights up and makes the sound from the game too. Winner!!
My 4-year old loves this and it’s helped at bedtime because he’s a bit happier to turn the light off now. Makes a noise when you press it (but doesn’t when you turn it off, thankfully). I’ve also read that red light is better at bedtime. Looks cute on his bedside table.
Good product. Plastic and finish are pretty low quality, but considering the price it makes sense. Overall though a nice little ornament that can light up at night.

We have two of these lamps, a red one and a green one. My sons love the sound effects, although they are a little annnoying after a while! Really cute fun items and also have a practical use as a nightlight.
Got this for my brother as a Christmas gift. Really cool and he loved it. Only thing is that if left turned on the batteries drain slowly. Other than that really good value!

This is a great night light for a little one. Robust and gives off a nice warm red glow in the background. When you turn it on It makes the noise from the game when Mario picks up a mushroom. Been using for a few weeks now and the batteries are still going strong.
Had two of these now as the first stopped working. The first lasted a few months but was replaced. The second one is still working but did have a moment a while back when it wouldn’t turn on, a bit of a jiggle and it has worked since.
The sound is amazing! I love it! My only complaint would be that the light isn’t great and it looks a bit cheap. But then, it is a novelty item and it is hilarious so…
I have the coin box version of this and was eyeing up the mushroom for ages. Finally got it and im not disappointed one bit! The noise is class and looks great with the coin box
The size is good for display and the sound very audible and fitting. The light is a good moderate lighting intensity; illuminating the room for atmosphere but not inhibiting sleep or comfort.
I press down on this little mushroom and I know there’s no longer any monsters in my room. I’m not back to sleeping full nights. I can function properly at work, and I’m back to being a funguy.
