This is a great headset for people who spend a lot of time on Zoom/Teams/Meet etc…
The clarity of the mic and speakers for speech is excellent, with the headset also being suitable for games and media.
The best part about them though is that they don’t block out everything around you, so they are easy to wear for lengthy periods.
I also have the Plantronics C5220 and they are a great headset too – those ones do block out external noise really well, so if that is what you want, spend the extra for those, but for everyday productivity these 3220’s are perfect.
I bought this to replace an older headset that was falling to bits. It fits nicely on the head, but I found it was difficult to get working with Microsoft Teams. The problem manifested as Teams muting the microphone in test mode. That seemed to be related to having the Plantronics Hub running but it went away after some fiddling. There were no problems in Zoom, which worked straight away.
Brilliant product that does exactly what it is supposed to.
Liked The feel and weight of the headset. Sound quality excellent for interactive conversations over the internet. Cable is very flexible and has a control for volume and mute along it. Ideal for right or left handed users. Such a brilliant bit of kit.
Disliked nothing except i forget I am wearing it and walk away from my laptop pulling it off the table I am working on!
We decided to give these affordable headsets a try in our small office as the office ambient noise was really off putting for the person on the other end of a teams/Skype call. These seem to work very well and you don’t have to struggle with office background voices and noise.
Use these for Skype / Zoom calls. Nice quality feel, buttons feel good to use. Sound is good in the headphones and the mic works well.
I purchased this model to replace a previous Plantronics set that was lost in an office move. If I needed to purchase another set I would look for this set again.
Absolutely no issues so far, has worked always from first plug-in.
I ordered these headphones for the purpose of working from home and wasn’t disappointed. The sound quality is crisp and sharp, the headphones are comfortable to wear and lightweight and the mic was also of a good standard. I would certainly recommend them and purchase them again.
Purchased to replace the inbuilt microphone in my laptop and does this brilliantly. The microphone produces nice and crisp sound for my call participants and the headphones are clear.
The only downside I’ve found so far is if the central bar isn’t in the right place then the headphones hurt my ears on prolonged calls, but when the bar is in the right place (not much difference in position) I’ve managed all day calling.
This was plug-and-play, which is all I really wanted. No messing with drivers and all that. Sound quality is good.
The only issue is that I can’t figure out where to put the mic to avoid sounding like Darth Vader. There’s no foam padding so it picks up (and loudly passes along) every breath, swallow, hiccup, etc. My other microphones have been better about filtering out that sort of thing.
Good product, reduces noise from external environments and people for other on call, but as a user of the head phone you’ll still hear the background noise due to it’s design.
Bought for work. works perfectly, no frills, but does what it says and easy to use. Kids have also used them on the playstation and they havent broken them yet!! 🙂
After all day meetings my ears can get a little tired but luckily all day are rare and I am sure that all headphones would probably do the same except the more expensive comfort orientated headphones.
They are not noise cancelling but they do a pretty good attempt at it and the microphone doesnt seem to pick up my kids if they interrupt me.
Great headset.. very light weight and the sound and mic quality is excellent. The mic boom can be moved vertically, out of the way when you’re not using it and you can hear everything that’s going on around you while wearing it. After about an hour of using it, I’d almost forgotten that I’d got a headset on, which is great after the last one I had. It comes in OEM packaging, so don’t expect a retail box. It comes packaged in a plastic bag, but that’s not an issue at all. It has a quick setup guide in the packaging, but it’s plug and play. The headset lead is a little short but I ordered a USB extension lead and it works great. You can easily control the volume up or down via the inline switch or mute and unmute the mic. When you mute or unmute it you hear a sound in the headset but the person you’re speaking to doesn’t hear it. The mic has great noise cancelling too, so any sounds around you don’t get picked up. I work from home and wear this headset every day and I can honestly say it’s the best one I’ve had so far!
