This is a low cost dashcam which is really easy to assemble and fit in place. I wanted something for my van, which gets used maybe once per week or so, so doesn’t really warrant big expense – but I did want something that could help prove fault in case of an accident.
The suction mount has a good solid fixing to the windscreen. The camera mount has good flexibility with regards “aiming” to capture the footage you need. The simple plastic mount that the camera itself hangs on is not great, and leads to a lot of vibration and movement, which is evident in the footage – but it is still reasonable enough in terms of quality. For the money, it’s hard to grumble honestly, and it might save you a bundle of money after an accident!

This is a very good quality budget priced dashcam that provides a crystal clear HD picture and footage.
The screen size of 3″ is perfect in my eyes as it’s big enough to see enough detail when looking at it, but not too big so as to look out of place in my car. It’s also not a visual attraction for anyone passing by looking to break into my car wanting to steal it.
Night time quality is much better than I expected it to be and I’m very impressed with it. No blurs or car lights becoming distorted. All very clear and concise.
This dashcam is supplied in a branded box which contains the following; dash mam, 32G memory card, USB card reader, rear camera connecting cable adjustable mount, and instructions. The rear camera is used as a reversing camera and not as a rear dashcam which was not too clear on the listing until you look into the detail.
Fitting the camera is reasonably straightforward. You need to identify and connect to the positive reversing light connection for the rear camera which can be tricky on some cars and find a route to run the cable from the rear to the front. The cables supplied are of good length and should be sufficient for most cars although larger ones will need to be carefully routed. As my car has a reversing camera anyway I did not connect this.
The camera provides a HD output and it is good that a suitable memory card is provided. The mount is a bit bulky but was secure on my windscreen and allows for adjustment of the aim,. The quality is good in daylight but less good at night being a bit dark although still acceptable. The view is not as wide as some I have used but it avoids the “goldfish” look although you may miss details from the side.
Priced at less than 32 this dashcam is good value for money. The addition of a reversing camera and memory card is a welcome bonus and the camera performs well.
This is an ok dash cam. It’s good enough to do the basic job which is to prove you weren’t at fault if you were to have an accident. It’s definitely not good enough to read number plates, but then again while you can get cameras with better quality lenses, there’s only a few dashcam lens manufacturers with limited options so there is a ceiling to the quality you can expect no matter how much you spend. It’s easy to install and stick to the window. If you’re looking for something basic that will get the job done without breaking the bank I think this is fine.
