As a parent in the midst of potty training my spirited three-year-old, I can’t express enough how much of a game-changer the Pote Plus Travel Potty has been for us. This nifty little contraption has not only simplified our potty training journey but has also seamlessly integrated with the Pooland app, making the entire process smoother than I could have imagined.
Let’s face it, potty training can be a daunting task, but the Pote Plus Travel Potty has truly been our knight in shining armor. Its compact and portable design means we can have a reliable potty solution wherever we go, giving my little one the consistency he needs during this transitional phase. Whether at home, on a playdate, or out and about, this potty has saved the day on more occasions than I can count.
What really stood out for us is its compatibility with the Pooland app. The synchronization was a breeze, and the app’s functionality added a layer of convenience we hadn’t anticipated. Tracking progress, setting reminders, and offering helpful tips — it’s like having a potty training guru in our pocket. The combination of the Pote Plus Travel Potty and the Pooland app turned what could have been a stressful endeavor into an organized and dare I say, almost enjoyable experience.
The build quality of the Pote Plus Travel Potty is impressive. It’s sturdy and well-constructed, giving us the confidence that it can handle the rigors of toddler usage. Cleaning is a breeze too, ensuring that hygiene is never compromised.
In a nutshell, the Pote Plus Travel Potty has been a potty training superstar in our household. Its portability, user-friendly design, and seamless integration with the Pooland app have truly set it apart. If you’re on the potty training journey like we are, I wholeheartedly recommend giving the Pote Plus Travel Potty a shot. It’s a decision you won’t regret — in fact, it might just make potty training a memorable and surprisingly manageable adventure for both you and your little one.
We took the potty camping and it is great, the one thing that would make it better is the instructions which don’t tell you that the pad should be on the inside (so you need to turn the bag inside out) maybe this is just me being dim though!
This has already paid for itself, it’s really useful it being two in one, so it really is brilliant to take out and about. It’s worth the money I feel. It’s a potty and a seat and so far it’s fitted on every loo seat I’ve put it on. My son likes it because it’s quite secure once it’s on the loo seat and I like the fact it’s got a padded bit on it so it’s a bit more comfortable for him to sit on.
Really helpful for potty training and stops when out and about with a little one who can’t wait to find a toilet! Fits over a toilet so little one can use it also. Compact to carry. A good buy for toddlers.
This is perfect for potty training. Not too big to carry around and quick and easy to set up. As previous reviewers have said i re-line mine after so use so ready for next time. would recommend.
We just came back from a week long road trip and this potty was extremely useful! It can go onto the toilet seat or stand alone for road side emergencies. Folds and fits nicely in the car boot with half the house packed in it. I ran out of the bags provided so just used normal bin bags which worked just fine. My son is almost 5 and could use this comfortably.
Looks great, my little one likes to count the animals on it, we even tried it as an adaptor for the toilet and looks right ( kid not to be left alone ). Any way, I intend to use it for long trips, we just haven’t had the chance yet.
This has been the best thing we have bought. Our 2.5 year old has been potty trained for 6months now but we still use this on long journeys, trains, day out in London, beach and fits perfectly in our baby changer bag, even our 6yr old has used it in desperate times with no toilets available. Highly recommend! Do not buy their bags however, very expensive. We use a small white bin liner bag and stick a cheap sanitary pad in the bottom which is basically the same as their bags but for a fraction of the price.
We didn’t want to lug around a potty and so went for the seat. It’s fantastic. Easy to use and put up. Can use it at the park, or as a seat on public loo. Just take antibac wipes with you to wipe it all down. Just like being on toilet at home for little one. Potty training was a breeze once we had the courage to go for it and this seat helped! One downside: the bag it comes with is naff, flimsy plastic broke straight away. We used a little tote bag instead.
It’s been months and months of active usage now, and we can certainly say: this thing works for us! The design is simple yet sturdy. Yes, ideally, you need to have liners with you, however, when nothing major is expected, there is no harm in “watering some flowers”… And when converted into a seat, it can be used on any toilet. Any other time — it’s flat and compact inside your bagpack/buggy/under the front seat, etc.
We didn’t receive the carry case or the 5 free potty bags advertised with the item. The actual potty is ok, does the job, although haven’t tried it on a toilet seat yet.
Purchased this for our 2 and it’s handy to have in a backpack on a day out where toilets aren’t nearby or clean. It’s a great item but the legs that fold out are so little the kids struggle to sit on it without help.
I have used this potty when we have been out for a few hours and my 3 year old granddaughter needs to do a wee. It is so easy to just sit her on this potty and if it is a poo she needs the bags are there ready to use as a liner. We are soon going away for a few days and then we will use it on the toilet to make her feel safer. I also like it is so easy to carry around. It is much easier than a normal potty. I am pleased I bought it.
We went on holidays and this is exactly what my son needed to go to public toilets and even in the airbnbs we’ve rented – now we keep it in the stroller in case of emergency when we go out. Love it!
This potty is more than amazing for the price you pay. The only thing that’s a bit annoying is the grey cushion seal comes off a lot. Does what it’s supposed to though.
Perfect for potty training, we take it everywhere with us; the park, shops etc. it’s also handy to have around the house or garden whilst potty training. Very sturdy and fold down flat, also comes with a plastic carry bag with drawstring. The disposable bags have an absorbency pad in them which is great. Overall, highly recommend.
Brought this to get out with my grandchildren who are potty training, it packs up quite flat is lightweight, so it’s easy to pack in a backpack. Also the pads that came with it are quite absorbant & easy to dispose of.
This could not be more perfect to fit in a bag whilst out and about. Looked at other travel pottys and was really put off by the size. My little boy is a good sized 2 year old and he sits on it fine. Also so useful that it becomes a toilet seat, public toilets are not ideal for little ones.
Such a great seat! It came with 5 bags with absorbent pads in, amazing to use on normal toilets, was god send on long car journeys when using the service stations! The padded seat is soft and easy to take off and clean, folds up nice and small to go under the pram or clip onto the changing bag. Really love it.
Positives
– compact, fits into a small carrier bag
– can place on top of a toilet when out, the legs act as handles for your little one to hold on to
– easy to use as a stand alone potty too
Negatives
– the legs do feel a little flimsy, so make sure you have clicked it in correctly when using as a stand alone potty
– the rubber seat comes off easily and can get annoying
– the carrier bag is just a plastic bag with the logo
Overall would recommend for potty training
When we started potty train our daughter, we looked for all options of a portable toilet for when we are out and about. I consider Potette, Oxo, My Carry Potty and this, and settled for the Pote plus and we are happy with our choice. The reason being I like the sturdy looking feet of the potty, and it is quite sturdy. It is easy to setup and unfold, and easy to clean. We also like that the colour of this portable potty is unisex, so more versatile to be recycled for future siblings. We didn’t use the Pote potty bag and instead used the Potette one as it is bio degradable, and it does fit. It also comes with a plastic carrier bag, but we use a swimming drawstring bag instead as we don’t think the white plastic bag is attractive. If one thing to criticise, it is the instruction. At first we realise you have to pull the feet down in order to unfold the seat as it wasn’t clear on the instruction.
