These weights are great, you can combine them to make a long bar and add weights or just use as dumbbells so they are versatile and made from iron so will last forever. Happy with this produc
Outstanding. I have only just received my order and haven’t had any time yet to get into keep fit. I will be using it in confidence and I would recommend this company. Price is very low compared to other sites. The service from Amazon is first class and I am happy. I will not be buying any more kit as this product fits my current needs. Hopefully this will help others.
When the box arrived I thought there must be something missing – so compact, couldn’t possibly contain the weights and bars seen in the photograph on Amazon. I was wrong! Everything was there, very cleverly packed. The bar bell is easily constructed and the weights attach easily and firmly. The dumbbells are great for home exercise and everything can be easily stowed away. I would have given five stars but a slight loosening occurred through my workout. Overall though, I recommend these particularly if they’re on offer, as was the case when I bought mine!
Very very very small oh and I’m talking about the bar by the way. If you have a small child wanting to get into lifting weights then this is ideal. But if your a regular sized person then I’d save your money and buy a proper lifting bar. The dumbells are good though
The package seemed a bit smaller than i expected when it arrived , but i realized it was just well packed and stacked inside the box.
– Disks are very good looking.
– Locking has a solid feeling.
– Weight distribution is enough for beginner or semi home workouts.
– No defects found with anything in the packaging. Everything is as advertised/described.
For the price it’s a marvelous kit ! Yes they may be cheaper ones , but i did not find anything IRON ! just plastic ones. So this should be the best one to buy.
Received on time, just as described. Only issue is the sharp edges and the pings unscrewing while working out. I also think the values on the weights are unintuitive, at 1.25, .5 and 2.5 kg per. I also feel the gaskets seem lose, but they havent fallen off yet. I think those are common issues, but may some other products dont have those. Nothing major however. I like them and use them every other day 4/5 stars from me
They were delivered in sturdy cardboard box which can be used to store them when not in use. But, for me, these will always be out on the floor. Otherwise, out of site, out of mind!
I’ve had concrete-filled, plastic ones before but this time wanted cast iron ones which hopefully won’t go rusty over time. The bars are chrome plated whilst the weights are finished in a hammered effect, dark-grey paint. Looks professionally finished and of high quality. Other reviewers commented that the screw-locks loosen during use, but I haven’t had that problem.
Really like the extension tube which converts the two dumbbells into one barbell. Not sure if I would trust loading the full 20kg with the extension bar, though. As well as bent-over-rows, bench presses and fore-arm curls it’s possible to place the bar-bell on the floor, slip your toes under it and knock out a few sit-ups.
The different weights are ideal for a beginner. Even the hand-bars alone, without any discs, are a good way to start, adding weights as you progress. I’ve used these daily for the past week and was ready to buy another set. There’s always a ‘however’. However, the price went up by 10 right after I got my first set. So, just waiting for the price to drop, or until I find another seller with a similar product and better offer.
I will be buying another set, a folding bench, and a Straight / EZ Curl bar-bell, all available from the same manufacturer.
The weights do have a nice finish, and overall the quality of them is nice.
I do have a small issue regarding the center bar when extending from dumbells. The center pole doesn’t feel entirely secure, there is a small amount of wiggle, which is okay but doesn’t fill me with confidence.
The flexibility of the set does allow for more uses than an average dumbell set, which is a nice positive.
You may however wish to invest in some gloves if you’re going to spend any large period of time using these, as personally I find them a little tricky to grip at the end of my set!
It’s a neat set, when dismantled doesn’t take up much space, keep the box for the other plates not in use.
It’s every thing I need but wish the attachable bar could be utilise on its own. This would support a quick change from bent over row to dead lifts as you’d want more weight for a dead lift.
The utilisation of the bar would support a quick change over when doing a class.
I use lifting gloves so have no issue with the feel of the bar.
You have plenty of plates in combination to chose from. The securing nut is easy to operate but as I’ve said if you need a quick change over it’s not ideal.

I’m made up with it as I’ve never had weights or any fitness equipment at home before.
I bought these in May 2020 when they were 66.99. I notice they are now 199! I love these weights, and they are very versatile. I have used both as individual dumbbells and as a barbell and have found no problems with the set at all. The plates work lose if you bang the dumbbell on the floor, but I would expect this. I just make sure they are tight before each set. The barbell is not that long, so may not be suitable for serious weight lifters. As I am not a serious weight lifter, I am fine with this.
The only downside (other than current price), is that the courier (Royal Mail) refused to deliver the item as it was deemed too heavy. I had to beg the postie to bring it, which he did. I would have expected the seller to use a courier willing to deliver to my door. I would buy again, but not at current prices.
If you want to do exercises that require you to swing the weights repeatedly in a lengthwise direction or to twist them while swinging them, then you would probably be better off with fixed dumbbells rather than variable ones like these because with these the ring weights are held in place with a large nut that would work loose with those movements. These are suitable for traditional weight-lifting movements, but you can still find plenty of variety of those movements available. For me they are ideal, but lighter fixed weights would allow those HIIT kinds of exercises more easily.
With gyms closed down, and then the issue of whether air-conditioning is safe when they open up, I think these are life-savers. My previous set lasted decades, but I kept them in the garage and they eventually rusted away. I expect these to outlive me by a long time.
Also, they were delivered very promptly, ahead of the expected delivery date, by a very strong man who warned me from his van about how heavy the box was – very sensible. I am very glad to have them.
For the past 3-months, I’ve been “trying” to lose weight & get in shape, in fairness it’s been going great.
Now that I’d lost a fair bit, I felt now I needed to up my game (so to speak), and wanted something which wasn’t going to cost me the earth (as it’s still early days), did the usual research (thanks You-Tube lol), and set out my budget, and what I would need (to start off), saw a few items but this product seemed to stick out for me. It seemed to have decent reviews (setting aside complaints for broken or damaged items – it happens), plus thanks to the people here who took the time to provide photos too, I decided to take the plunge.
All I can say is, I’m really glad I did. Really solid build, and the quality is good too, one of the things that “sold” it to me, was the middle “extended bar”, which is a really good idea, but after about a week, I got tired of attaching/ removing this item, so decided to purchase some extra Pro-Iron (Cast Iron) Weight Plates, and a York Fitness Spinlock E-Z Curl Bar (5 kg) with Collars. So now I have a set of Dumbbells, and a Curl-bar.
As said previously, all items are of great quality, and I’ve obviously bought more weights by the same reseller.
Packaging for this item was really good, very compact and well protected, the box it came in is deceptively heavy (due to the small size) so much so the delivery guy asked how such a small item could be this heavy lol.
Anyway, I’m starting to ramble now, all I can say is if you’re in a similar situation as I was, and can’t decide which Dumbell set to buy, you can’t really go wrong with this, as I said I’ve had no problem with this, plus I bought some more weights, if I get to the stage where I move (to a larger place) then it might be that I consider looking at getting a multi-gym, but for now I’m stuck for space, and these do the job. 🙂
