I’ve had to play around with this a few times to get the right configuration between dumbbells and kettle bells so that everything fits. My 8kg and 10kg hex dumbbells are quite large and when I have them one on top of the other on the sides it’s a bit fiddly to get them out, so I’ve moved the 8kgs up to the top row instead which seems to work better. When I get 12.5kg weights I might have to remove the kettlebells from the top row altogether, or put my wife’s smaller dumbbells in-between the 10s and 12.5s to create more room.
If the unit where a bit taller with slightly bigger gaps between dumbbell slots it’d be perfect.
It was easy enough to put together solo (it only involved minor swearing on my part). 🙂
Bought this with no reviews so took a chance, but it worked out! Very strong and sturdy. Easy enough to put together. Took about 25mins tops. (alot easier with a socket screwdriver set than the small spanners they send!) And holds plenty of weight. 3&5kg Crane brand weights (Aldi) don’t quite fit right and my 8kg Mira fit are JUST too narrow – but it works ok! Argos brand weights fit well and metal/hex weights would fit perfect I believe.
