ive been using nothing but halogen ovens for years, but i got ot say, this ones up there as one of the best ive had ! great price, and especially like the shorter handle, as some others have it much more higher, which makes it flimsy to close tight, resulting in it not working, so would highly recommend, great price compared to others ive bought over years, i already had the extension ring to make it 17l, and its high heat wattage, also makes a difference as shortens cooking time, well thought through, im very happy with this.

I’ve had several Halogens over the past 10 yrs and they are good for many types of dish. Excellent for Yorkshire pudding. I do my whole Sunday roast in mine.

I’ve written to the vendors to establish if they can provide replacement bulbs. Experience has shown that with everyday use, I get about 2 years use before a bulb goes and finding spares is nigh on impossible. Vendor not responded yet.

Hardly ever use my conventional cooker. A halogen cooker provides instant heat and will cook anything. This halogen although basic when likened to some is perfect for the job and very easy to use. A very good price.

I bought this for my mum as she needed a replacement halogen oven. She uses it every day and has done for years. This size is perfect for one or two people. She loves using this halogen oven.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is the third one I’ve had.
Once you get used to using it.
You will never go back to a cooker.
Remember though it cooks fast, so reduce cooking time

This was to replace my old one which eventually gave up the ghost so I was eager to order another as I find this extremely useful and easy to use/operate.

I love using this as it’s so convenient. Instant heat so no waiting for the cooker to reach temperature and sits on the counter ready for use. You can do everything in it!

I was having to replace my old defunct halogen oven after 12+ years. During that time I’d used a friends (not white top) version and found that bowl had rounded corners making the wire stand very unstable. Wary of this I am please to say this is not a problem with this model. Plus there are a few improvements over my old model and the included ‘air fryer’ wire mesh pan is a real bonus for cooking oven chips in 12 minutes!

Bought this as a failing original under an Andrew James branding was having issues with the switching relay after a number of years of constant use, another reason is that I already had a couple of replacement lamps I had sourced for the old one which should fit this model as the design is exactly the same, the original came with a spare lamp and I had fitted 2 or 3 replacements over the lifespan of around 3 years, but then i noticed that it’s switching relay was arching and decided it’s time for a replacement, hence I was so glad I came across this one which as I say looks exactly the same design albeit a different brand name on the time. 🙂

Bought this when my old one wasn’t able to be repaired. This came with the basic attachments but also with a low-fat mesh tray. I just sit it on the high rack. It’s slightly curved so things won’t slide off like the one I had anyway, which I had to buy but that was then this is now! Much better to use this new mesh tray – my new chip pan:-). Love halogen ovens and if you do buy this as a replacement for a 12 litre everything fits. Happy days:-)

This little oven is brilliant, I’m veggie and the other half eats meat. We always have 2 meals in the go.
Using this oven means that we very rarely have the big oven on , which saves energy as well.
It’s just a pyrex dish so it’s easy to clean.
Much quicker than anything else I have used, and i use it every day.
I have had about 3 of these ovens, when 9ne wears out i cant live without it so i just order another.

Used every day. Last one said goodbye and we were lost for the 24hrs we had to wait for the replacement. This arrived and was not working but Amazon sent out a replacement immediately and handled everything for us. The replacement is working very well.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI had a cookworks for TEN years, and used it every day in fact it was THE most used equipment in my home as a single father I cook, no fast food in our home.

When it finally packed up I bought this, I can NOT live without them, in fact having tried this one I have just ordered another, as all our meals are baked in this.

I like my large microwave for chicken and making stock from the chicken but for cakes, yorkshire puddings (NOT shop pre made), eggs, bacon, steak, fast chips, beef, lamb, caseroles etc this is my cooker.

I have never used the oven in the kitchen, just the hob, OCCASIONALLY, it is this cooker and the microwave.

Some person here said they could not get it to work, DUH READ the manual, you have to press the handle down to switch on, lift to turn off, why because some fools would lift the lid off and put it on the side still on, SAFETY SWITCH.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersReally good value for the price. The only negative is there is nowhere to put the top / lid. Having said that, the products that have a hinged top, or a slot to hold the lid, are far more expensive.
I do find I need to cook items just a bit longer than the recipe calls for.
My package came without instructions. It would have been nice to have a recipe book, but I can find everything I need on YouTube.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersI previously had a 7 litre halogen of another brand and it lasted about four years before the bulb exploded,i admit to being rather alarmed at the explosion and subsequent mess but i expect that after four yearts of condensation from all the meals cooked in the oven the moisture finally had that effect. If i was to offer any advice it would be to take the lid off the oven as soon as your food is cooked and not leave it to sit with the steam rising to the lid and ultimately the bulb!. I,m not complaining however, i’ve checked a number of reviews on various makes of halogen ovens and decided i more than had my money’s worth.I also saved on the electricity bill into the bargain!..I could not find the same brand as before but again after checking the price and performance of many ovens i plumped for the Quest Halogen 12 litre 1300 watt, i originally thought it was too wide to fit in my limited work top space, but eventually when tried realised i could just squeeze it on. I’m trying to be a little more gentle with this one not only because of lack of space but also i notice the bowl is not as thick as my previous halogen, ofcourse taking into account that the previous halogen oven was twice the price of the Quest oven i think it was a good deal. I have only been using it for a relatively short time but so far so good.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI got this halogen because although it was’nt the dearest,it was’nt the cheapest either. It compares really well with the more expensive one i had before. I think it’s a very good oven and cooks really well. The only downside if you can call it one is that when you put the handle down it does’nt seem to click down. It could be that it’s not supposed to or it’s just mine and i’m only going by my last oven. It does’nt cause any problems anyway and i like it. I would’nt be without a halogen again and i would by another one of these.
