Firstly I have huge hands (over 20cm long) and wide to boot. and this mouse is great for me, I use a modified claw grip, and comfort is great, It also looks great and performs well. I bought this mouse to replace my Mamba tournament Pro, which after 5 years of daily drive started to have issues with click holds (dragging) After 6 months with this new mouse my scroll wheel started “jumping” scrolling down would often give a random upwards scroll, most infuriating when using photoshop etc. However, Razer’s customer service was lacking, had to jump through hoops, try lots of troubleshooting and lots of waiting for email replies, however as less than 1-year-old Amazon shipped a replacement the next day along with a return label for the faulty one.
Bought the Mamba Elite after my old Deathadder was starting to show signs of wear and double clicking occasionally. The feel and weight of the Mamba is much nicer and glad I didn’t stick with another Deathadder. As always great quality and feel with Razer.
My second Razer gaming mouse product, no question to the quality of the product.
Unfortunate damage to the package upon arrival, luckily no damage to the actual product inside due to quite a decent protective packaging
I moved from my third Death Adder to this Mamba. I find my razer mice only last about a year or so but i love using razer mice so I have just learnt to accept that.
Moving from a Death Adder to this was very easy the differences are mild, however these mild differences like weight and feel have left me not wanting to go back.
The only thing that sticks in my throat is the cost (probably due to RGB etc) , so if this is on at a good price go for it.
I am using this mouse at this very moment and I am confident that I will be able to hit the submit button with ease. Full of confidence it will get me there 10/10 would recomend.
Great mouse have been using it for nearly a year now, the RGBs are on point and mouse accurasy very accurate, would recommend this mouse to entry level PC gamers and to others in general.
I now own about 7? razer products, this is my second mouse. The first-ever razer product I bought was the Deathadder V1, It’s been my faithful servant for years and has never let me down, but I decided to upgrade for the new chroma features as well as software so that all my devices are on Synapse 3.0 rather than on 2.0. I’m really happy with this mouse and it was completely money well spent. Always feel like I get what I pay for with Razer 🙂
Razer makes me a god on Fortnite. Thumb buttons are positioned perfectly. This is my upgrade from the Razer Death Adder Elite. They’re pretty much identical with the exception of lighting, no additional learning curve.
Just grea
I’ve deducted a star only because I don’t think this is worth the normal selling price. I purchased this for half the price from Amazon Warehouse and I couldn’t tell you the difference between it and a ‘brand new’ one so I got a cracking deal myself!
It’s a lovely mouse – the ergonomics are bang on for me and my style of use. The sensitivity is nuts and I have changed the DPI step settings to much lower for my usage, but if you can actually use that high DPI, it’s there. Buttons all seem very solid, the lighting is nice, good braided cable etc. Having the DPI change buttons is really handy when gaming and that’s one of the reasons I chose it. You can use the Razer software to create profiles, change the lighting, map the buttons etc. but the only thing I’ve used it for is changing the DPI stuff.
I do also have a Razer DeathAdder Essential but that feels somewhat plasticy and lightweight compared to this one.
It’s a really lovely mouse but there’s no way I would pay the normal price. Either wait for a deal or check out the Warehouse deals. I now really hate using other mice as this one is just so comfortable in my hand.
A very comfortable mouse to use and it’s a relatively good size. The price is good for what you get and if you’re looking for a good gaming mouse for a small budget price like I was I highly recommend it.
Mamba elite is in my opinion the best mouse razer offers currently (my comparison includes comparing it to the deathadder v2). In terms of style, it is one of the best looking mice available, the chroma lights are placed elegantly around the mouse and make it stand out amongst its peers. It’s very comfortable for right hand use. The 5g sensor is very accurate and easy to calibrate. I ordered the wired version and the cable is also nice but if the deathadder v2 beats it in any department it would be the cable. Other than that this mouse is everything that a gamer needs.
This is the latest addition to the Razer Mamba mouse family. It is a refresh of the Mamba Tournament Edition, which received lots of criticism for the laser sensor. The new Mamba has an improved sensor, it uses the 5G optical sensor at upto 16,000DPI, which feels great and has minimal lag and tracks the mouse pad surface very well. It also works on glass and various other surfaces and the mouse glides along very well.
The mouse also has a tilting scroll wheel that acts as 2 extra macro buttons that can be programmed to any function, aswell as 2 buttons on the side. This mouse also features hypershift technology so you can map an extra set of macros from a click of one button on the mouse, when you run out of free macros. The mouse also has on-board Hybrid memory storage, which means you can store all your settings and move your mouse from PC to PC without losing all your macros and settings.
The mouse also has improved rubber grips for better grip while gaming and more lighting zones for the aesthetic aspect. Which means lighting effects like wave appear more smoother on the mouse, also making your setup look more exotic and brighter.
Overall, this mouse is one of the best I’ve tried (having used various mice such as the G502, SS Rival 710 and the Lancehead) and is a must for competitive gamers. The mouse is also frequently on sale for 60 (down from 90) which is a really good deal compared to mice the G502 which are similarly priced but have fewer features and are not as good as the Mamba.
I like this mouse…
it is light, the rgb is cool… i guess…
urm, the cable is good…
the sensor is good, the buttons on the top side and wheel are all very good.
the mouse feet are good, very slippy.
and yeah it is just a good mouse, BUUUUUUUUUUT i think it is a ‘tad’ overpriced, this is due to it being 81? wtf
yeah anyways dece
The Razer Mamba Elite Gaming mouse is simply the best mouse for gaming. Coming from an old Razer DeathAdder the difference is night and day. The buttons all feel solid and the Chroma on the mouse is wonderful touch. Was very lucky to get this mouse on such a good deal. Can’t recommend this mouse enough!
I wanted to change my old gaming mouse and since I have a Razer keyboard too I decided for this!
The feeling it’s amazing! Way better the the one I had before. The movement is neat and steady and the button give you that feel that the input is immediate. It’s really light and I love that you can personalise the rgb led and make them work with another Razer product.
The best if you looking for a reliable mouse for yours gaming sessions!
… there are a few known bugs with the sensor. There are plenty of 16,000 DPI mice on the market but what set this aside for me that wasnt the pretty RGB (although a big plus) was the ergonomics, from the shape of the body to the position of the side buttons. To be honest I rarely use any DPI beyond 3000 but its a nice feature and good to know it is there if I need it. However, there is one known issue with the sensor where the cursor will jump a varying distance as the mouse is lifted above the surface. I think this is one of the best mice out there but aside from the sensor issue, I would have said this is the best mouse, full stop.
I upgraded to this mouse from a razer abyssus 2014 which was great and lasted about 4 years, it still works perfectly but I wanted an upgrade. The first thing i noticed was how big it was compared to my old one and it felt great in my hand. The chroma lighting is amazing and one of the main reasons I opted for this mouse. The weight of it feels perfect so far and the buttons are excellent. The side buttons get alot of use in games but i don’t use the ones on the scroll wheel. Also the scroll wheel does feel abit slow when scrolling down a page on the internet but i can live with that. The dpi on the highest setting is insane so i never use it at all but i’m sure someone will find a use for it. Overall its a great mouse even for the hefty price tag but i would recommend it to any gaming enthusiast who wants a RGB setup.
I absolutely love this mouse. I have had it for about a month and it is great. I love the DPI buttons. Even so the software is hard to use, it can have stunning results. I am 11 and it comfortable in my hand. the optical sensor works superbly on carpet, wood, plastic (not transparent) & cardboard.
Excellent. We have Razor mouses and never anything else again.
This is quality and excellent for gaming. Needed a new razor sharpish (kids using my original razor I got with my alien) so I can play my games without having the kids complaining that their mouse is rubbish!
Excellent tracking, excellent gaming mouse, comfortable to use, easy to set up.
Yes, it is worth the cost!
I was searching for a gaming mouse for my wide hands for ages, and finding this was a lifesaver – no more hand cramps during gaming, and the overall shape feels great too.
The sideways clicks of the middle mouse button aren’t that useful imo, but nice to have. Side buttons are fairly easy to click, and you won’t click them accidentally. Software has everything you could want in terms of macros and lighting. 100g feels like just the right weight for this mouse.
Negatives:
Not really a mouse designed for fingertip grip.
The right side doesn’t leave that much room for your ring and pinky finger – but this is a minor annoyance which you can get used to.
The new Mamba elite is a very comfortable mouse and is the perfect weight for me @ 96g
The optical sensor is much better than the laser one used in the wireless 2016 edition which i own.
The Hyper shift function is as good as roccats EasyShift and is very useful for things like volume control, once you use it ,it is very hard to go back.
The tilt scroll wheel is also very handy giving two extra commands and taking up no space. (another must for me)
overall this mouse just feels right and in the last 6 months i have used the
Roccat leadr (too many buttons for big thumbs)
Roccat kone aimo (great mouse apart from mouse button 4 being in the way of most grip styles)
Kone emp (almost the perfect mouse but a tad too heavy)
Razer Mamba wireless (stutters a lot in windows, too heavy, No Synapse 3 Support and the grips are slippery) looks cool though
Logitech G403 wired ( great mouse but wanted a few more buttons and a tilt wheel)
