Only wanted one but the 3 worked out cheaper. They do very well for their intended use. They are fairly quick. The USB does slide out but does feel flimsy but overall they are good and ideal for mos
These USB drives just work, good price for x3, worked straight out the pack with no issues…..I had purchased x2 usb from a different unknown brand, prior to these scandisk ones, i had to return the unknown brand ones as they didn’t work. I should have just bought these Scandisk ones in the first place and saved myself the hassle of a return. Scandisk is well known and a reliable brand…lesson learned, in future I will stick to what I know and trust.
Okay – USB 2 – but still, these are fantastic value for money. Only 32GB, but I needed to keep to FAT32 so that’s exactly what I was after.
All three now full of movies for my father’s TV.
Arrived as promised.
They do what I wanted, back up files on my computer.
Plastic casing may not last well for daily use but they’re fine for what I wanted.
Nice compact size. Easy to open and close with one hand, and as the part that plugs in retracts, it isn’t as susceptible to dirt or damage. I use these with a freeview receiver/recorder as my TV is very old. But the picture quality on playback is just as good as on my TV itself. I’ve never had one of these fail on me either, unlike some other flash drives I’ve bought. They’re quick and easy to format for TV, but I can’t comment on computer use as I’ve not tried them with a computer yet.
I bought these as I need a couple, cheap, USB flash drives that were still reliable. These worked and was good value overall. I don’t like the design of them (with the sliding mechanism) but it works. They were kinda stiff overall and I was worried about putting them into my laptop at first, after the first few times it scratched the bottom of the part that inserts and it worked fine since then, the case is also very thick I don’t think I’d be able to get two of them in adjacent ports. In-terms of the storage though, I make backups and copies of some important files I need then just keep it in my bag in-case I need it, the storage properties have worked just fine
I like the triple packs as they offer value for money regarding a famous supplier’s brand name. There’s a circle allowing us to add to a key ring if we trust that option. I like the different coloured drives as that could help us to use certain colours for specific files such as mp4s only or jpgs only or rtf files only. The size of the drives is OK for using with the PC inputs and on various USB hub units. USB hub units are worth considering if they also offer individual on/off switches, too. Follow the guidance for when unmounting and mounting a drive or ejecting a drive if that is what’s it’s being called. Wait for confirmation when to eject from the PC or a device.
The 32 GB drives work with several devices but higher storage drives may need a PC software program to activate these for further use. Sandisk sell various drives yet these items are usually more expensive. With Amazon, we may get extra discounts so it helps to buy a triple pack now and then.
Having extra drives could help us save backup copies as well.
They feel a bit flimsy but not exceptionally so. If you look after your stuff, these should be OK. The flimsy part is the sliding cover and if that falls off it should still be usable. If you chuck your flash-drives around regularly then by all means get a tougher one but none of them are indestructible.
A bit on the slow side, peaking at 20 MB/s, when copying from one to the other but that is OK for files up to about 1GB. Much beyond that, it gets a bit tedious.
3 x 32GB for 13.99 is very good value for Sandisk unless you need high speed for BIG files or are particularly careless with your flash-drives. For back-up storage, they are pretty well perfect and they are probably as reliable as any.
