Used these for the last 3 concerts and a noticeable change when removing them during the concert and then reinserting. One of the concerts I would either have moved much further back or left the venue as too loud. They are easy to insert and remove.
The negatives are that the case is too small and fiddly to get the earplugs out and there would appear to be a loss of high end sound but ultimately the pluses far outweigh the negatives.

I was sceptical about them actually dulling the sounds of my environment and still allowing me to hear conversation but I honestly love them. I’m autistic and struggle with loud noises when I’m out and these are great, especially on the trains!

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than expected!

Bought to wear during concerts/festivals to deaden the background “boom” and they work really well and are very comfortable to wear. Handy tin for them which I wear on a lanyard round my neck for easy access before/after bands!

Great for gigs and band rehearsals
Comfortable and probably the best earplugs I’ve found.
No ringing in the ear after being in loud environments.
The case it comes with is good as well.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have small ear holes so have difficulty with things like earphones, etc – they’re always falling out. No issue with these, handy push area at the top so you can use your thumb to get them into your ear and a little tab to pull to get them out afterwards. No issue with them and protect my old hearing at load music gigs perfectly.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAbsolutely perfect. I suffer from bad Tinnitus and have found wearing these to be a life saver. I’ve not been in a nightclub or concert with these on but have used them in everyday use.

I can’t hear my computers fans with these on and have found the noise dampening to be top. Voices aren’t muffled and higher pitched sounds are much harder to hear.

Comfort is a little on the bad side, but 3-4 hours of discomfort is better than years of high pitched screeching in your ears 24/7 for years to come, I can tell you that.

Now, when you buy theses, your not just buying one pair. My pack came with 2 pairs. A small pair and a large pair,so you won’t need to worry about buying the wrong pair. You’re also buying a solidly built, aluminium canister that can only hold one pair but is great to securely store your ear plugs.

Worked great for me. 2 sizes came. Only one sized fit properly (which is fine)

    Had a good seal.

Used clubbing a couple times as I have tenitus I figure it was about time I used protection.

They actually make it easier to hear voices and seem to mainly block out bass.

    No ringing the morning after.

    Very happy with my purchase.

I read a lot of reviews here that clearly expected a noise cancelling earbud. I can only assume they had no knowledge of the different types of sound transmission (there are 3 types, none of which would be cancelled out by these kind of buds).

I go to many concerts, raves, gigs as well as live performances in bars. One particular night had my ears ringing for days on end, it was so concerning that I thought I had permanent tinnitus.

Knowing that I had another concert a week later I needed to protect my ears without not being in the moment. That’s exactly what these did, I didn’t expect noise cancellation, I expected high and low frequency noise reduction, specifically from airborne sounds.

I tested these by being around the speakers at normal durations as well as being in the midst of noise in the rave for the duration of around 4 hours and these prevented and ear ringing.

If you value hearing but wanna stay in the moment in a concert, these are for you!

I bought these for my teenage son, a keen drummer and was a bit worried about spending so much money when there are a multitude of cheaper options out there. However, I am so glad I bought these: he says they are the best he has ever had, in that he hears the sounds he is making cleanly without distortion or muffling, but just quieter (and hopefully safer!). This has meant he no longer bashes his kit as hard as possible in order to hear himself, which makes life quieter for everyone else! So all round, very, very pleased and definitely recommend, at least for ‘rock’ drummers.

Used for music rehearsal in a very loud practice room. Was excellent, could still all aspects of what was being played, without suffering the ringing ears afterwards at all! Also came with a second set of earplugs which i wasn’t expecting. Nice bonus! Now a constant addition to my keyring.

I wore these at a Muse concert. The plugs came out slightly so I pushed them back while turning them a bit. This only happened a few times throughout the show so didn’t dampen my enjoyment. One time one plug slid out enough where I could hear the music without the effect of the plug, and what a big difference they make. The plugs make listening to that kind of extreme volume much more comfortable. With other noises when leaving the venue my ears may have been ringing slightly, if at all. They were not ringing the next morning. A big difference from the after effect I’ve felt in my ears after previous concerts without wearing any plugs.

These noise masking ear plugs are great, I got them because I suffered sudden hearing loss in one ear so thought it best to protect my hearing. I took them to the Nike’s Rodgers show the other evening and was pleasantly surprised that I could hear the music so well (took one out to see the difference) . They also helped my tinnitus in the affected ear as my ear didn’t ring after. Recommend this product.

Maybe a better late than never, as I already have tinnitus. But being a regular gig & festival goer, these lessen the impact, without much noticeable impact on sound enjoyment. I’d say definitely worth the investment, as you only get one pair of ears

Bought these for a gig in Prague after seeing them in MK and having my ears blown out for the final third of the set.

I fitted them about halfway through and they did work quite well – the only thing I found was that I pushed them in fully and then could barely hear anything in comparison, so I had to experiment for a few minutes and pull them out gradually more and more until I got a noise level where it was still a live metal gig but not making my ears bleed.

I got there in the end, but be prepared to faff a little bit while the performance is going on in order to get the right noise level for you.

On the plus side they are comfortable, hard for people to see them when they’re in, they have a little pull-bit to make it easy to take them out and they (hopefully) reduced the chances of permanent brain damage!

Work very well at reducing the dB of loud noises. I tried them at a concert and they worked very well. You can hear your own voice and those around you better whilst still hearing the music in the background however you’ll have to gauge how loud u need to speak for others to hear you… if communication/singing in loud music environments is necessary.

Very high frequency noise such as the snare of drums is harder to hear out for but still audible.

On the whole very comfortable and you can forget they’re there however initially you’ll feel them in ur ear until your ear adjusts for several minutes. For me I felt them prod too far into my ears. But everyone’s ear is differently shaped. The only thing better would be moulded ear plugs which are much more expensive.

Bought these as I have some hearing loss, but also sensitive to loud noises and wanted to protect my hearing against further damage. I use them in spin classes that are incredibly loud, but still need to be able to hear. Have used them for about 4 weeks now, they’re a bit tricky to insert, takes a few minutes to get in but good noise reduction once in the right place. They sometimes slip out a bit, not enough to fall out though, and easily can be repositioned back into place ( not sure if this is because I’m sweating, and would be fine otherwise). I’ve given up using the case as they got stuck in a few times and needed tweezers to pull out. I like that they’re clear so they’re not obvious to other people. Happy to keep using and feel they’re good for the price

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI love these, they are amazing. I have had tinnitus for years and hated noisy events because they made it worse. I’ve used supermarket squidgy earplugs before but nothing like this. At some recent events they have transformed my enjoyment of the night – they reduce the massive speaker noise, so you can actually hear what is playing – I could pick up the tunes more easily than others around me. I could also hear people talking to me much more easily than they could hear me. Very discreet. No-one noticed I was wearing them but who cares anyway. The only thing you have to get used to is the sound of your own voice echoing loudly in your head! But that’s not really a down side. Everyone should have these to protect their ears.

Bought this since I suffer from tinnitus and will my best not to make it worse. I have found cinemas too loud so bought these in the hope of reducing volumes down. I was so pleasantly surprised with this product. I have been using disposable foam ear plugs which are horrible for sound fidelity, muffling most speeches close to not being understandable. This product is so correct in its frequency replication that one might think they are not working until one takes them off and the only difference is a much louder environment. Definitely recommend and have used them already twice with very happy results. One of the sittings was for end game which is three hours long. I did not find them uncomfortable to wear and they came out very easily. If you find these too loose there is also an included small format ear plug which I have not used. Only downside of the product is that the ear plugs come in a plastic bag which are fiddly to put back in the plastic bag (the bag then goes in the alimunium canister which is very handy, not sure the plastic bag is required but am assuming so for hygene purposes)

I bought these for a festival which was taking place in various venues of different sizes. They worked well to keep severe noise at bay and I wasn’t leaving every show deafened by the noise. They were easy to put in, came with great instructions on use and cleaning, and the container is really sturdy.

Unfortunately the noise levels still left me with a slight ringing that disappeared the next morning, which I believe is because the plugs didn’t fit completely. If I really tried to shove them in, the noise filtering was fantastic. Though they would quickly ‘slip out’ back to a normal position. Not that you would want to go the whole way in anyway in case they get lost.

I think they offer protection regardless of best-fit, though it certainly won’t prevent ringing in the ears after long stints.

As the title says, the earbuds do the job however if you purchase them, consider getting the box case as its nearly impossible to get the ear buds back out of the cylindrical case.

A good set of earplugs. I went for the transparent filters. They look great and are very comfortable in your ears.

I have not yet tried them out in a loud music environment – I will update this review when I do.

Great product, they seem to stay in very well and are hardly noticeable. It’s great to have the two options so you can get the best possible fit. The metal case is very sturdy and useful too, small enough to fit on a keyring. I haven’t tested them out at a gig yet but from what I can tell, the sound quality seems very even. I’ll feel much better going to gigs and festivals now that I have these!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI bought these to use at clubs and gigs, as I wanted a replacement for the disposable foam earplugs I’d been using, which make everything so muffly and cause so much plastic waste. These are great! They are really comfortable in the ear, and block out all the heavy bass, while still leaving the music clear – even when stood near the huge speakers near the DJ. It’s also quite easy to chat to people with them in, although they’re so easy to put in and take out repeatedly. I can wear them all night with no problems or discomfort (which is impressive for me, because normally earphones start to hurt my ears after a couple hours). The little keyring case comes in really handy too – I keep it on my keys so I never forget to bring them with me, and then I attach it to my belt loop once I’m inside the venue, so I always have somewhere to store the earplugs when I go out into the smoking area to talk.

Also, as someone who gets a little conscious of looking nerdy by wearing earplugs to a club (the social pressure! haha), an added bonus for me is how subtle these look in the ear. I got the colourless filter, and you really can’t see them once they’re in (inside a club anyway – I’ve never tried outside in the daytime). The first time I wore them, my friend kept touching my ear to make sure they were still there because she couldn’t see them at all!

Excellent quality, and excellent value (although who can put a price on not getting tinnitus?). Highly, highly recommend.

The product is superb. It really avoids hearing ringing even if you stand before the loudspeakers in a club. Conversations are easier to follow due to its smaller damping at those frequencies, which gives you a feeling of having superpowers. For my use, I would probably prefer a bit less powerful product, though, around 15 dB of attenuation in average. The shape is perfect to keep them concealed, and they are relatively easy to pull out thanks to the flap. The tube for storage could be smaller, in my opinion.

Great owner price end ear plugs. Use them for reducing the noise at loud gigs. The plugs manage to reduce the volume level without impacting or muffling the detail in the sound. Be warned…you might hear lead vocals live a lot clearer and realise some of your favourite artists can’t sing live!!!

+ can hear the music fine
+ transparant, hardly ever noticed. The ‘tail’ of the earplug can be placed against your ear so it doesn’t stick out
+ no ringing of ears at the end of the night
    + metal case is great
    + easy to clean

    – naturally, it’s a little harder to hear your friends talk than without the earplugs but I think that this disadvantage is not important compared advantage of protecting your ears as well as these do

Really like these, have tinnitus and still go to gigs to hearing protection is essential. These go in easily, and provide the right level of reduction without washing out the sound noticeably. These are lower profile / more hidden and easier in than others I’ve also got such as Etymotic (also good).

I have quite large ear canals and both sets of tips they came with seem fairly large – may not fit well if you have tiny ears but as they are “Christmas tree shape” it may be Ok.

Weird the decibel reduction isn’t posted very widely so photo attached from product packaging

5.0 out of 5 stars Good low-profile protection for gigs

I play in a pretty loud band, and suffer from mild tinnitus, so I’ve had to start wearing earplugs to my practices. I got a bit sick of the soft foam ones, because they fall out easily and you can’t hear what you’re playing because its so muffled. I bought these, and they’ve made a huge difference – everything’s quieter but crystal clear. If anything, I can hear all the music better, and they fit very snug into my ears. The carrying case is great too, straight on my keys and I don’t need to worry about bringing them to practice. If you play loud music, I really recommend these! They’ll make you play better because you can hear everybody else, and you no longer need to walk out of your practices with that dull painful ringing in your ears.

It has a nice fit and works well. I went to a concert with a lot of bass and I lasted the whole concert without any pains in my ears. But I gave it 4 stars because the case can be very annoying when you are trying to get it out.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThese are a lifesaver for me, I suffer from severe headaches which are triggered by music, I can wear them practically all the time, especially if I know I am going into an environment where music will be played at loudish volumes, they don’t block it out completely, they deaden it, so I can still enjoy, and interact, but they take the really loud notes and soften them, so there are no surprises for me. Thank you, you have given me my life back.

Delivered fast and, looks exactly as shown. I had the opportunity to try them immediately. I have tinnitus and hyperacussis. I have tried them on Tube, on the street and in a restaurant. They were great, the size fits me well and I was able to hear people talking to me while the external noise was muffled and didnt disturb me. They are also soft and comfortable. Great purchase, highly recommend it!

Totally, totally worth the money. Going to a festival five days in a row, standing next to rigs the size of houses would take its toll on anyones ear drums. Alas this is not the case when inserting these fine Senner ear plugs. They have blessed my ear holes without interfering with the enjoyment of the mix and blend. Would recommend to any avid festival goe

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersSonically, these are pretty good for the price. Bought a set for myself and my son and it’s clear that different people will have different experiences getting the plugs properly seated. I worked out that by very slowly pushing them in while twisting them with the tip of my finger, I can seat them quite far into my ear, where they stay put with a sort of suction, keeping the sound down nicely. But allowing me to hear people talking to me. With the high and mid ranges attenuated, you do notice the bass a lot more (they’re not going to stop bass very much – well, not at the techno dance gigs I go to at least). My son, on the other hand, says the opposite: he doesn’t push them in very far, otherwise they come out. He reports the same about the sound though.

Definitely lose a star for the carrying case. The hole for the keyring has been drilled too near the top and after only a couple of days is in danger of tearing through. See photos. Also, get the wide one because the ear plugs tend to stick to the walls inside the case and make it very hard to get them out.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good earplugs for music. Shoddy carrying case (and get the wide one!)

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersThe place I’m living is close to rail track and it is extremely annoying that nowadays there are many heavy transpotting railways travelling and make massive noises. I frequently woke up couple of times during the night because of these noises.

I used to wear a travller earplugs that you can buy from a shop at the airport, not only they were not comfortable to wear, but also they are easily to fall off during sleep and I lost one recently.

When I found Senner I decided to give it a go, but I was not sure to choose Music or MusicPro. I picked MusicPro because I wished to cut out more noises while I am ready to give up a bit of wearing comfort.

I’ve now wearing it for a week and I can tell everyone it’s is very comfortable to wear, and of couse it helps me sleep through the night! And I found they are secured, they do not fall off during my sleep. But don’t get me wrong, they are very easy to wear and to pull off. This pair of earplugs comes with two sizes, I use the smaller one at the moment. I tried the larger one and that cut out even more noises but not as comfortable as the small size.

The beauty of this pair of earplugs is not cutting out all sounds, I can still hear my alarm at the morning without any problem.

I’m a dog walker and have to transport dogs in cages in my van to and from parks and open spaces. A few of the dogs are barkers – annoying collie and Westie barks that go through you. I had tried spray collars and vibration collars – fine if you’ve only one barker in the van as that one then goes quiet when the spray or vibrate activates. Good training. More than one barker in the van? This becomes an issue as whichever one barks sets off all the anti-bark devices! Bad training. That doesn’t achieve anything as a number of dogs being submitted to a spray or vibration for no good reason! I needed something that would dull the level of noise from the barking dogs without stopping me from being able to hear sirens and the like.
The Senner MusicPro is a reasonable price, reduces the volume and dulls the sensation of the barking but doesn’t block out all sound entirely – can still listen to the radio and chat with a passenger. The Senner is basically an earplug that is suitable for music concerts, festivals, firework displays and the like if you want to protect your hearing. Nice little carrier to clip on a bag or lanyard, two sets of plugs (standard and small) so you can decide which is best fit and one set of filters – a wee bit fiddly to get them off the standard plugs and onto the smaller ones but be patient as it’s worth doing. Are comfortable to wear but wouldn’t necessarily use them for sleeping.

Golden Review Award: 92 From Our UsersProbably too many years attending concerts by Deep Purple, Whitesnake and Hawkwind have taken their toll on my hearing but with a series of big concerts coming up I decided to try these ear plugs, even though they appear a tad expensive.
I used them for Coldplay in Cardiff and can say that they work well. They were comfortable and did take the edge off the sound without distortion or any loss of sound clarity. I think traditional ear plugs muffle the sound too much – these didn’t and I was left with no ringing in the ears after a two hour assault from the marvellous Chris Martin and his mates. So all is positive thus far.
The downside is that they are really small and I fear losing one and they are really difficult to get out of the ear once they’ve been fully inserted. I think if the little tab, presumably used to help insert and remove, was bigger then they would be more user friendly.
Next challenge is how they fare at a big open air festival.

WOMAD music festival and they worked a treat. I like to watch from the front but that usually means ringing ears or muffled sound through traditional ear plugs. This year, perfect sound right at the front – these worked a treat, so I’ve upped the stars to 5. Can they cope with the mighty Deep Purple in November?

Just realised I hadn’t updated after watching the mighty Purple at Birmingham and Cardiff. The ear plugs worked a treat, taking the edge off the volume of the band who were once named the loudest in the world, without diminishing the power of the performance. And they worked well for front row Glenn Hughes at Bristol.

    Highly recommended!
