I use this product to deep condition my Afro textured hair. Love it as it really leaves my hair feeling soft, plus it was cheaper here than my local hair shop!
My hair is well moisturised and my curls are more defined. It’s great value for money too.
Would highly recommend.
I like massaging it in and leaving a hair mask cap on top as I find this to yield the besy results and I leave it on for about 30 to 40mins. It works even better with steam so if you have a steamer you could combine it too.
Overall would recommend for those with dry curly hair. My hair texture is about a 3b.

Bought it because I learned about all the bad stuff in most shampoos and conditioners. This one is good for your hair and hair feels soft after use but it doesn’t smell nice.
I love this product so much I have recommended it to all my friends and family. My hair was on it’s last legs due to years of bleaching. After using Shea moister only after two washes I noticed the difference and now my hair is in beautiful condition and I can continue with colouring my hair knowing I have a conditioner that actually works!! Two very enthusiastic thumbs up. 🙂
It smells mild and pleasant, the texture is thick that only a small quantity is required to cover my hair entirely. I used it 3 times so far and my hair looks softer and shiner.
I personally leave it for 30 minutes for a better result.
The only annoying part about this hair mask is that it makes my hair oily in a short amount of time.
But overall I am pleased and would get it again in the future! Good quality for the price !
Glorious! GLORIOUS! BEST BEST CONDITIONER EVER!! I am only back here to purchase a truck load!! I put this in my hair after washing …. steamed it …. then after rinsing out the conditioner I was in for a shock! It retains your natural curls and your hair is proper gleaming brightly like it has been dyed and soft! Oh i can’t reveal too much for fear off it going out of stock!!
It is a fantastic product and does what it says on the tin. I don’t think my review has given it enough credit. I’m excited and hopeful that the product will help me strengthen my hair and nurse it back to normal.
This product is just amazing, purchased twice now. I have highlighted hair and damaged ends and this stuff has honestly worked wonders! the smell isn’t the most amazing smell ever but it’s not a bad smell at all. It looks like I have been to the hairdressers after use. I just use as you would a normal conditioner in the shower and it still works amazingly. Cannot recommend enough.
I initially bleached my 4a/3c hair and made the mistake of using a really harsh toner, leaving my hair extremely dry and brittle. After shampooing, I left this masque on for about 10 minutes (used this instead of a conditioner) and rinsed it out. When I tell you my hair is soooooo soft and healthy TT.
I styled my hair with the shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie for added moisture too 🙂 (also highly reccomend)
results lasted for about 4/5 days after wash day and is definitely a new favourite
As someone who is sensitive to smells I highly recommend this product as it has little-no scent and overall just smells buttery and neutral 🙂

This is a lovely deep conditioner for my dry heat damaged hair.
I have wavy/curly hair that tends to be very dry in the ends.
I leave it on with a shower cap for 15/20 minutes while I do my other things in the shower.
It’s a very thick texture that glides through the hair smoothly.
I’ve found the tub has lasted a long time, as I only use it every other wash if I need to.

I have straight fine hair which knots very easily and my hair gets greasy quite quickly. I’ve been getting highlights for a few years which has really dried the ends out. I was quite sceptical to use this product as I didn’t think it was for my hair type at all and I would never usually put a conditioning product on my roots, but a friend recommended it and I reallllly needed some moisture.
After using, my hair felt completely different. I wouldn’t say softer exactly, but thicker and stronger. In the morning, I noticed that the knots I would usually have weren’t there.
Really happy and will continue to use this.
Lid broke in transit but amazon wants me to return the product. Not sure how to return this as it is everywhere. Would rather have a replacement, but I scooped it all into a Tupperware box as it smells lovely and I might as well use it!
It has a lovely silky feel and my hair feels so much better after just one use, so I would highly recommend this!
It literally does exactly what it says! I’ve been dyeing my hair for about 11 years and recently decided to use Colour B4 to take all the dye off my hair and go back to my natural colour. It worked, but it left my hair feeling really dry. I used this mask and left a generous amount on for 15 minutes to really soak in and oh my days! My hair has been restored to the shiny, bouncy and soft tresses they were before I started dyeing them! I’ll definitely be buying this again once I’ve run out. Highly recommended!
I love the actual product as it’s really good for curly texture hair makes my hair moistured, doesn’t harden the hair as other protein treatments and make my curls pop more.
However it’s too expensive as it will probably last me 4 maybe 5 uses as it’s already half and I just used twice and my hair is not even tick now and is neck length. So for someone with ticker and longer hair maybe will last 2/3 times. I really hope that the treatment does the job and make my hair stronger, then it will be worth the money I spent! I
I only use this now. Lasts me a month as you don’t need much. I wash my hair with a natural lemon shampoo bar that my friend makes and I condition my hair with this. You only need the size of a walnut and I leave it on for five minutes. I have used it overnight but my hair seemed to get greasy quicker. I only wash my hair 2-3 times a week. It is bleach and dye damaged as well as going grey so the texture is changing. It is not Afro which I initially thought it was meant for. I have much less breakage now, it is finally growing and is not longer frizzy. It saves me money too as I don’t need to buy a separate conditioner either and so less plastic waste too!
I’ve used many hair masks in the past to limited degrees of success, however this product was recommended to me by a friend and I’m very glad she did!
My hair is naturally wavy and very thick as I have typical Irish hair! I use heat styling methods regularly also so all in all my hair definitely needs some help!
I’ve used this mask twice since I received it and the difference is night and day, my hair feels hydrated and much more manageable.
I followed the directions for my first treatment however I found I prefer to prioritise my lengths and ends, I then wrap my hair in a microfibre hair wrap/towel and I leave it on overnight. The next morning I’ll rinse it out, gently shampoo my roots and then use my normal conditioner.
A little product goes a long way and even after two uses, both times being very liberal in application I’ve hardly dented the pot so I expect it to last quite well!
The scent is sweet but not overpowering, and the thick texture makes it easy to apply.
I’ve also been using it on my eyebrows and have noticed a marked difference in both growth and density of the hairs.
Overall I’d 100% recommend!

The way it makes your hair feel and smell is so addicting, I use it multiple times a week prior to washing my hair!
I would recommend applying the mask 40 minutes – 1 hour before you wash your hair. I apply it from roots to ends and use a generous amount. I’ve tried applying this, sleeping in it and then washing off in the morning however I haven’t really seen a difference between the methods. Either way though, my hair feels unreal after using it.
May be important to note that I use this product alongside the brand’s shampoo also.
Will continue to repurchase for sure, definitely worth the money.
I don’t normally write reviews but I felt I had to for this product. My hair was left badly damaged by another product and I had tried many different products to fix it. I found this product as I was searching the Amazon store and thought I would give it a try.
From the first application my hair was softer and smoother and my damaged ends looked and felt much better. This product also has an amazing smell And is gorgeously thick and luxurious. Since that first application I have used it twice and my hair is softer more supple and shiny. I am so impressed that I have ordered it again and have also ordered the shampoo and conditioner too. This product is well worth the money and you don’t need to use loads of it to get a fantastic result. Thank you.
The product does help soften the hair. However, it is not amazing and it doesn’t leave your hair incredibly soft for the price. I love the shea moisture leave-in conditioner but the masque wasn’t all that. would rate it at most a 7/10. The good thing is that it doesn’t have a strong scent which I like about it.
I don’t have afro hair but my hair has become very dry and thinning.
The directions on the jar are;
‘After Shampooing, apply a generous amount of the product from root to ends.Comb through for even distribution. Place a plastic cap over hair and sit under a warm dryer for 10 -1 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.’
Not having a dryer hood I applied the product as directed and wrapped my hair in a plastic bag and applied some heat from the hairdryer for 5 mins then left on for an hour or so before rinsing. You could also wrap your hair in cling film or a towel.
Certainly does condition the hair and leaves it looking and feeling great.
I would just say that if you are rinsing the masque off in the shower, take care as it does leave the shower tray slippery.
This is a good product. Really made my hair super moisturised. The thickness of it is great but I think it didnt spread through my hair straight away like another shea moisture hair mask i used before.
But once you put enough its great and there is still quite a lot left.
My one came in perfect condition as it was padded up nicely.
I use this for deep conditioning only, I apply it on damp hair after washing, then leave it in for about an hour. It’s wonderful.
I will definitley buy more.
Also good value for money, its really thick consistency and I have used it 3 times so far to cover my long hair and it’s barely noticeable that I used any from the tub, it’s almost full.
Definitley one of the best buys, compared to other expensive brands that don’t really do anything for your hair.
