No one wants to see photos of the stuff I’ve been cleaning up but I’ve had an incontinent cat for a few weeks and this has meant we could recover and treat areas of the carpet ‘affected’. This large size was useful as it can take a fair amount to remove a stain but it really works.
If you are buying this large size, I recommend also getting a smaller squirt bottle to decant into to spray the area you’re treating.
So if you’ve tried cleaning sprays or carpet cleaning vacs on pet stains but they didn’t work I’d definitely recommend this.
I just got a male stray cat which I adopted and we had already a male cat. They unfortunately started marking in the house and with that spray it stopped quickly.
Follow instructions as advised. Easy to use I advise keep the 24 hour before hoovering and ensure spry is fully tried.
It smells very comfortable to me.
I also used it outside in my garage as I noticed multiple cats marking. Even there it stopped

Years ago I had cats. I still had a spray bottle of this left over. I now have my girlfriend’s dogs making occasional unwelcome liquid ‘donations’ to my carpet. Nice!
Using up my old spray bottle, it was EXCELLENT! I used plenty. It seemed to dry reasonably quickly after I had mopped up what I could with a cloth / kitchen paper. NO ODOURS! Happy days!
SO….I’ve reordered a bottle. My only fear is whether they will have tampered with the formula in the interim. I think it is unlikely, but I don’t know. I bought the cat (rather than dog) solution even though I’ll be using it for dogs, because it works SO WELL!
soaked the carpet where the black light identified cat pee, it has a pleasant sweet baby powder smell. I left it for 48hrs Iand topped up after 24 hrs then hoovered after 48 and the smell has completely gone both the cat pee and the product smell.
cat has not returned to mark area it has been a week since I treated the area.
I now use the fluid to clean the litter trays too and it’s very effective for that too.
I highly recommend this and also investing in a black light but do the research on the correct type of black light to see cat pee

I had bought this product before and I wanted others to know. It completely eliminates the smell of urine. It is such an effective product that we were able to use it during a child’s bed-wetting stage and it saved the mattress.
This is a very large quantity though so perhaps try a smaller bottle first if the animal is not wetting persistently.
Spraying this stuff makes it really easy to break down the smell of cat pee and hoover it up. Then I treat the area with Bicarb and water or vinegar and use a UV torch to ensure I have got it all. Otherwise they just go back there again. This is part of the process but a much needed part.
This product is really good. I have used it for many years and it has served me well getting rid of stains and odours the cats have left behind, I have also used it to get other stains out as well.
I bought this as we have visiting Tom cats who spray in our carport, up the car and bins.

NONE of them have worked. This stuff does. Even when the 4l bottle hadnt been used for a couple of years (I was pleasantly surprised and expecting to buy a new pack)
It also works on soiled clothing or bedding. Just treat it and leave for a few minutes before tossing in the wash
It even kills tomcat spray – which is pretty pungent (and seems to neutralise fox marking too)
Im more than happy with this stuff. It’s pricey but you can easily spend a lot more on other methods (mostly diy) with sub-par results and it seems to be safe on things like sofas with foam internals that have been soaked – and thankfully it doesn’t require thorough rinsing afterwards to avoid textile/substrate damage. Just blot what you can and let it air dry…
My boy cat has started spraying up the front door due to an outdoor male cat lurking around. The smells is horrendous despite me washing it down thoroughly every day.
This spray eliminates the smell entirely. It smells like sickly sweet baby powder (not unpleasant) I sprayed in on the offending area – saturated it and left for 10 mins or so. The smell has now entirely gone, not even a hint lingering.
I should add – he went up to the door and licked a small bit of the spray off of the floor and was promptly sick. He now won’t go near the door. I don’t wish ill upon my cat obviously but I don’t care about this because the spraying and the smell was stressing me so much that I was close to melt down!
This may well be the best product I have every purchased.
It did for me on my male and 2 female cats, both on new “fresh” accidents and dried old ones, though older patches may need a second application to neutralize the smell, with old accidents on carpets or soft fabrics, i found its best to lay a sheet of plastic or cling film over the top, to stop it drying out too quick and allow the enzymes to work longer to break down the wee proteins that cause the smell.
I got a small 500ml plant mister/sprayer to fill up with this 5L bottle, makes treating areas easier, you can adjust the spray from a mist to a jet.
I suppose, yes! it does have a slight almond sweet smell, with other perfumed pongs, i did not find it offensive at all and after a while it does disappear – if you can still smell pissy smells afterwards, lol, its probably because your little sweetheart cat has peed somewhere else you’ve yet to discover !!!!
I used to use diluted Biological washing liquid before with many rinses and blotting with kitchen roll after leaving hours or overnight to do its work (the biological enzymes do the same thing) Trouble is with that, if you have light cream wool carpets, laundry liquid is often coloured blue or green can stain and takes ages to rinse off.
This does not stain or bleach my carpets, though as carpets eventually get dirty, you may be left with a obvious clean patch – Time to clean your whole carpet after treating those smelly slip-ups!
