Ottima, calza alla perfezione, ero indeciso se questa oppure la sorella della Tilta, ma questa, pur costando leggermente di pi, calza molto meglio, e soprattutto leggera pi del doppio dell’altra!! Consigliatissima!!
J’ai achet cette cage afin de me constituer un rig pour du documentaire et du court-mtrage, elle remplit bien sa fonction.
J’aime bien le fait que la griffe flash du botier reste bien accessible mme avec une top handle installe.
Par contre la cage passe au dessus de l’paule du botier o se trouve le grip et cela gne l’accs aux boutons. Il existe des modles de cage contourne les boutons pour ne pas en gner l’accs.
Good cage but one thing to take note of, if you want the USB bracket. You must get the kit that comes with it, I had bought the cage alone thinking that I could just buy the bracket later when I needed it, but I can’t find the bracket individually anywhere. So make sure you don’t need the bracket later if you are buying the cage only kit.
Tried this cage, Smallrig’s standard GH6 cage, and Nitze’s GH6 cage. Of the three this seemed to be the most well designed. The Nitze cage and Smallrig standard cage both blocked access to the WB, ISO, and Exposure Comp buttons. Those cages provide more mounting points but for my needs the Mamba cage is sufficient. I prefer a minimalist setup and this cage integrates seamlessly with the camera body. All controls are easily accessed (except the Drive Mode dial which is blocked a bit visually but still easy enough to adjust). I didn’t notice much flex on the right side of the cage mentioned in other reviews. I mean it does flex a little but you’d really have to be pushing on it to flex it and not sure who would be doing that with their camera. For me it was a non-issue but if you plan to mount something (like a handgrip) to that side the flex may be something to consider. The Nitze and standard Smallrig cages have zero flex. Took off one star for the Drive Mode dial issue and the cage’s finish. I’m not a fan of the hammered finish. A simple black anodizing would have looked better.
The only problem with this amazing cage is that they chose to forgo 3 point contact to not block the remote port. Imo they should have blocked it because the cage flexes around the camera if you hold the camera by the front of the grip and not the back. I’m having a 3d printed peice made for this sectio
Love this Smallrig Cage- it actually improves the ease of use of the camera – because the GH6 is an awesome beast of a moviemaking tool, this cage compliments and helps you add more features and things to it, things such as a viewing screen, mic, SSD hard drive, battery pack, lights and various other things will be easier to add with this cage. L’unica cosa che non mi particolarmente piaciuta che occorre smontare i passacavi per poter chiudere lo sportello, per il resto gabbia molto leggera ed ergonomica e con un sacco di punti di montaggio.
I don’t often leave a 5 star but really impressed with this cage. Very light, makes the camera better to hold, looks good. If you are reading this thinking about buying one then stop and just order it. You will not be disappointed.

Mi marido es un enamorado de la fotografa as que decid regalarle esta jaula para su “sper cmara”, entre otras cosas, porque todo se le cae de las manos…
Comento un poco si ha merecido la pena el regalo…
Nada ms que abres el paquete te das cuenta de que est perfectamente diseada para la Lumix GH6, encaja a la perfeccin, como un guante.
El material es robusto y proporciona un acceso completo a todas las funciones de la cmara aportando un potencial casi ilimitado para el montaje de varios dispositivos como: monitor/grabadoras, micrfonos, luces, etc, todo lo que uno quiera y ms.
Y lo ms importante, PROTEGE, si se la regal es porque se le haba cado y estaba recin arreglada, el caso es que volvimos a las mismas …,se cay de la cama estas vacaciones y aunque no puedo decir con certeza que fue esta jaula la que lo protegi sigui funcionando sin ningn problema…as que se lleva mis cinco estrellas y no le doy ms porque no se puede.
Recomendada: por precio, por calidad y por proteccin, porque aunque parezca cara…, ms caro es un arreglo, doy fe.

Este tipo de jaulas estn especialmente diseadas para brindar la oportunidad de poder aadir gran cantidad de accesorios para grabaciones, tales como monitores, luces, brazos para luces, zapatas, asas, etc
Adems, nos brindan proteccin, ya que es como un exoesqueleto que ponemos a la cmara, que nos puede salvar de algn golpe fortuito.
Esta jaula es de metal, y se nota en mano muy premium tanto en materiales como en acabados.
Para poder colocar todos los accesorios, tenemos infinidad de agujeros con rosca donde ir aadiendo perifricos.
No entorpece al uso normal de los botones, conexiones, pantalla, etc que usemos en la filmacin o uso de la cmara.
Si tienes una GH6 es una opcin que no puedes dejar de lado, ya que una vez lo pruebes, no vas a querer quitarlo nunca.

A great well made cage. Is solid and fits the camera really well. Provides a lot more stability and protection. Top quality. Would recommend.
If you think of this smallrig camera cage on similar lines as a mobile phone case you won’t go far wrong, you have all the protection your camera would need without losing any of the uses of your camera.
It is very easy to fit and isn’t too obtrusive when it’s on making it suitable for the various shooting scenes you will come across with your GH6 camera. Handheld shooting, tripod and stabiliser shots are all easy to achieve thanks to the easy access to the buttons on your camera whilst leaving you confident your camera is well protected against bumps and falls. Obviously iam hoping to never need the cage for any possible drops but i am confident if it did slip out of my hands damage would be a minimal. Great product to protect your expensive camera.
This camera cage is very strong but it doesn’t add too much bulk or weight to the camera. It isn’t difficult to put on and it feels secure once it is in place. I had no issues accessing the ports and buttons etc.
I will start off with the positives.
The cage is very strong and fits around my GH6 like a glove. All areas of the GH6 are accessible.
The show stopping negative
I have a Manfrotto 502AH video head, and a Benro S4 video head. When you attach the GH6 inside its cage to the mounting plate of the 502AH and the Benro S4, the camera wobbles and is unstable.
The base of the cage is too narrow to create a firm stable base to connect the Quick Release plates of both video heads. The slightest movement causes the camera to wobble on the tripod head.

I just bought a SMALLRIG Quick Release Clamp and Plate for Arca Swiss Standard.
This fits to my Manfrotto Quick release plate like glue. With the SMALLRIG clamp my camera is rock steady on both my video tripod heads.
