Plugs into USB port, lightweight but not too light to fall over by itself. It produces a good jet of air. Brilliant for hot days in the office. Not too noisy, but will produce more noise as you increase its speed.
Great little fan, throws out an impressive wind at each setting. Feels well made, the packaging was nice. The only downside is it’s louder than I expected (due to speed of the fan), which might make it difficult to use while sleeping for some people. The trade off is it’s size versus airflow. A larger slower fan might be better/quieter for a breeze on those hot muggy nights. Still, it performs really well, I’m impressed by the airflow and I’ll use it all the time at my desk. Most powerful fan for the size and price range. I’m happy with it.
This is a handy desk fan to keep my face and neck cool. It plugs into a laptop or computer via a usb cable. It has three speeds – the first one on the lowest setting is the quietest. I was surprised at how powerful the fan is. Also the angle can be easily adjusted. Good little thing!
Bought this on the recommendation of an outdoor gear reviewer I follow. He has three apparently. The purchase would either have me doubting everything he says, or confirm that he is on the money.
It’s small, it’s very well made, the blades are well protected, so good for travel on the face of it. Turn it on and it produces a surprising amount of draught. It isn’t completely silent on higher speeds but more then acceptable.
For the price it is an excellent buy.
Great fan, used it in the hot weather and it worked perfeck. Would have been handy if it had battery capacity but as long as you have a usb nearby it’s ok.
Great little fan, well made,3 speed, not to noisey, about the same volume as a laptop fan, the cord is long, sits on the sofa next to me and in bed on the bedside table, the daughter was impressed so ive bought another for her, I’ll be taking it camping with me and pluging it in to my power bank.
I use this in the office because it’s bloody warm often. Apparently customers can hear it on calls though so I’ve had to stop using it when calls come through. Definitely cools and has 3 power settings. Would be nice if it was easier to position perfectly.
So I’d say this sort of fan is perfect for someone who is working in an office as you can use your PC to power it up and also won’t be so noisy that it will annoy your work colleagues. It also doesn’t blow air into my headset microphone, which my other fan did. I’d have to turn it off every time I had a phone call as the other person struggled to hear me but with this fan, this one does not do that and I can just keep it on all day.
It’s relatively quiet as well. You can hear it the most on the 3rd setting as it’s going full speed. But to be honest I zone it out, it’s just background noise. If it was too noisy I would not use it as I wouldn’t want it to disturb my work colleagues but they don’t even hear it.
If you’re buying this to cool down a room then this fan isn’t really going to do that. This is most effective if you’re sitting down and need a fan on you.
It is a very lightweight fan which confused me as I thought it wasn’t going to be any good but I was wrong. The build quality is very good, it’s sturdy and it could handle a few accidental drops and it wouldn’t damage it, so it’s ideal for traveling.
I attached it to my power bank but it makes it more cost effective to run, especially if you charge your power bank at work . It has three speeds 1st click is a cooling breeze like a quiet gentle breeze on a hot day, perfect just to cool you down when you’re in bed and struggle to sleep. 2nd click a good breeze to shift air around the room and cool a couple of people at a cost of an increased noise level. 3rd click replicates the feeling that a dog gets on a car drive when their face is out the window, except your eyelids don’t flap in the wind, the only problem is that is becomes noisy but nothing a heavy sleeper can’t cope with.
Now I bet your wondering why I chose 4 stars, well, it seems like it uses a lot more power than what it is supposed to, let’s say I wouldn’t put in my pc incase it blows the PSU, I put it in my radio alarm and after a while it shut it off while it was third setting. So, it kind of worries me on that speed.
