Things I liked:
+ Tiny, compact little block with five utensils. They’re not the normal utensils you would find in a worktop block, but since we’ve had this I’ve noticed that they are some of the best suited to being on a worktop block – ones you can just grab, use, rinse (if needed) and put back.
+ The quality is fine for the price (around 11 after vouchers). It does feel a bit plasticky, but you do get a lot for your money.
Things I didn’t like:
– The writing on the side (Freshly Made Everyday Kitchen Life Storage Tube) might bother some people. You can turn it so the writing is facing the wall but then the taller utensils are at the front.
Do I recommend it?
Yes, but only if it’s reasonably priced. If you’re paying more than the 11 it’s currently on for, it might be a little too much.
This is an all-in-one kitchen utensil set, that offers a variety of utensils to assist you in the kitchen. Included in the set are a vegetable peeler, potato peeler, a whisk, sieve, ice cream scoop, pizza cutter, cheese grater and a cheese slicer. All utensils have a thick handle which makes them easy to grip.
The utensils are extremely lightweight and conveniently the vegetable peeler, potato peeler and cheese grater all come with a plastic tab for safety. In terms of use, they all work pretty well, the whisk is nice and springy and the pizza cutter is sharp, the ice cream scoop could have done with a thinner edge to make it easy but other than that, they work well.
Unfortunately, the set doesn’t come boxed, nor do you get a holder, which would have been a nice addition and although the peelers are sharp I’ve noticed some slight rusting going on. Hence I give this set a 4 out of 5 rating.
This looks so stylish on my kitchen side, makes it easy to find the utensil you need. The knife is sharp and the scissors cut well. The small compact whisk is easy to hold. Everything feels sturdy and great quality.
Very happy with this 8 pieces utensil set, for the price is really good quality and looks very stylish and modern. Overall came in a plastic bag and each item was inside other plastic bag.
Bought these for a caravan and they are perfect. All the most used items in a neat holder that keeps them together so they don’t move about in transit. & no more hunting for the scissors etc. unless they havent been put back in place but thats another issue….
