I’m super happy with these solar lights they look so pretty in my garden. It’s a pack of two simply take them out of the box and fix them together. And pop them wherever you like in your garden as they have a steak that goes into the ground to keep them there. And face the solar light towards the sun although they did come charged whi h I thought was great.
For the price you absolutely cannot go wrong g with these. They really do add a little something to the garden at nightime, and there super bright too. I highly reccomend them. Thanks!
These are a bit different to other solar lights I have.
I’ve popped them in with some wild flowers so when they bloom I’m sure they will look lovely in an evening.
They charge well, and look pretty blowing in the wind.
Seem solid and sturdy enough – and had some dire weather here in Lancashire.
Lovely lights
These are a lovely set of starburst cluster lights that compliment any border area or rockery. The most important thing to remember is that the little solar panel needs access to the sun. Easy to forget when you bury them deep in the borders or the flowers grow so well they shade the solar panel from the sun. They are very pretty when on and don’t need a huge amount of sunshine to work but will struggle a little come winter time. Good value for money and recommended.
These looks very nice in my garden! It’s just a shame they aren’t as ‘full’ as I expected! But they still look lovely, especially when put around flowers and little shrubs!
The Outdoor Garden Waterproof Swaying Starburst Vibrant Solar Powered Firefly Lights are a beautiful addition to any garden or outdoor space. I love the unique starburst design that creates a beautiful and vibrant display of light. The solar-powered feature means that there is no need for wires or electrical outlets, which makes installation easy and hassle-free. The two shining modes are also a great touch. They allow me to choose between a steady or flashing light display depending on my preference. The lights are waterproof, so I never have to worry about weather damage, and the sturdy construction ensures that they will last for many seasons to come. Overall, these lights are a great way to add a touch of magic to any outdoor setting.
They look absolutely amazing. They work amazingly and are incredibly bright. They charge through the day and last most the night being on. Blends in well between the flowers and makes it look magical.

The product I received was a pack of 2x solar powered lights.
The lights come in a pack of two, they are a cluster style design, each with their own solar panel. You have to put the lights together – the main section of the light (cluster), a metal pole with attaches to the base of the main light and small stake that attaches to the bottom of the pole – very straightforward. The light can then be pushed down into the area you want them located. Move the light to make sure the solar panel faces the sun and press down the button on the back of the solar panel to switch on. You have the choice of two effects – 1 for flashing light / 2 for fixed light. The lights stay on (sellers description) for up to 8-12 hours once fully charged. We have not yet had full days of sun (currently winter going into spring), however even with a few hours a day of sunshine, the lights have been charged by the solar panel and stayed on for a good few hours.
As to longevity, through use, I am unable to comment as I have only recently received the product. However they do appear good quality and we have had the lights outside for a couple of weeks and when the sun shined the lights came on when it was dusk. Looking forward to full sunny days to get the full use from these lights.
Oh these solar lights are fantastic, so much so my daughter has already tried to steal them off me (tried and failed)I was hoping to get some garden pictures for you all but the weather hasn’t been that good so I’m adding a little picture of one set at my indoor plant (please note this is not a good idea if you have cats who think they are a toy)there are 2 sets of 8 bulbs included along with poles for varying heightsthe bulbs are warm white with 2 settings, blinking or onthe thing I like the most is they will sway in the winda great addition for the garde
The good new is: solar powered garden lights are getting better and better – the light is actually decently strong and they charge enough during the day even in England thus last all evening and into the night…
The lights are super easy to assemble (takes seconds) and equally easy to stick into ones garden or pot.
We find they look best in bushes as the ‘sticks’ each of the light is on are a bit thick thus quite visible during the day and not very nice in the open.
We have ours in some low bushes with just the little lights protruding and they work well, they are always on and keep on working – come rain or shine (it was raining all week last week so they definitely are waterproof).
These are great. And will look so effective once my lilac trees come back in the spring. Can see them now, little twinkle lights poking out through the leaves and blossom.
Theyre super easy to assemble and install. Don’t do a me and push on the end of the pole…they’re super sharp and I made a nice little crescent slice in my hand!
My only real negative is that they’re not more posable. I like that they flutter and dance in the wind. And they have a semi jaunty look from how they splay out. But I would like the base of the lights to be posable so you could be a bit more intentful with your light arrangement.
They’re a great idea. And once the garden is a bit bushier again they’ll look amazing.
This is a twin pack of cluster lights. Their best feature is that they are solar, and are supposed to resemble fireflies. They are great for enhancing ferns or spiky greenery, I put mine in the middle of some spiky grass and it looks great! They are easy to install, though I found the push in spikes a bit of a faff, but that could have been me. Anyway, very effective and a nice price.
I can’t say shrubbery without thinking about a certain 1970s comedy classicbut anyway, these solar lights really do look very pleasant amongst my larger shrubs.
While I would need multiples of them to make a real impact, the two I have in the garden really do look nice and are a little bit different than your usual garden lights.
Putting them together and placing them in the garden takes no time at all and now the longer days are coming, I should be able to enjoy them for the vast majority of the evening and night 🙂
Description
These solar firefly lights are currently priced at 19.99 and arrive in a pack of two lights. Each light contains 8 “stalks”. The ones I am reviewing are a warm white colour. The lights can either be “always on” or “twinkle”. This is easily controlled via a switch on the underside of the solar charging panel which you can see in my photo.
Opinion:
A friend of mine posted a photo and video of her garden last Summer on social media. I was intrigued as to how she had achieved the “dancing” lighting effect. When she told me they were firefly lights, it was my mission to get some, so when these became available to try, I immediately grabbed them !
At the time of writing this review it is the beginning of Spring, so the garden hasn’t really started to grow, and sunlight is at a premium. However, I tired putting the lights into the soil in my border. That wasn’t a success, so I have now tried them in my rather forlorn looking pots.
The lights have lit up beautifully despite the horrid weather, and they look very bright, with a gentle swaying effect. I have chosen to have them on all the time, though when I am sitting out in the Summer I will try the “twinkling” effect.
Although the lights themselves are great, I did have issues with the steel stake and spike. The stake is very thin and hollow, and as the soil is quite hard at this time of year, I was worried about it bending and breaking. I therefore took it out of the border, but on removing it, the small plastic spike remained in the soil, so I had to dig it out with my trowel. I placed the light in a pot where it was easier to push through the soil.
Conclusion
I am happy to recommend these lights as they are lovely, and will only look better still in the coming months once they mingle with my plants. I do think the stake needs to be thicker and the spike either permanently attached or a bigger spike. Apart from that I am very happy and look forward to creating fairlyland in my garden. I may even get my friends wanting some later in the year when I place a photo of my own garden on Social media !!
I hope you found my review helpful. Thank you.
This is a pretty pair of light clusters with the bonus of being solar powered so no trailing wires. I added them to a flower bed with rose bushes of a similar height and they did look good when the lights came on at night. I picked the constant on option as the twinkle option was just distracting.
You have to think carefully about positioning as the solar panel is attached to the base of the light cluster. That means I can’t use them in the shrubs at the back of my garden as that area doesn’t get enough sun. As the rose bushes get bushier in summer, I may have to tweak the position as the leaves could cast a shadow over the panels.
The one part of the lights which I feel let them down a bit is the metal stakes you attach them to – rather than being a solid metal spike, it is a hollow metal tube with a blunt end. I was able to push it into the soft compost of the flower bed but it was more difficult in heavy clay soil. Depending on the height you want the clusters to sit at, you may want to get / cut a shorter stake. It would be a pain to push the ones supplied deep into the ground if you want the lights close to the ground in low level shrubs.
