It was bit tight for my 2 year old and when it gets wet it was tight so much so please check the proper size or little big for your little ones.

I recently purchased the Splash About Happy Nappy Wetsuit for my little one, and I am beyond thrilled with the results! This wetsuit has made our swimming adventures so much more enjoyable and worry-free. Here are the reasons why this fantastic product deserves a 5-star rating:

Outstanding Leak Protection: The built-in Happy Nappy system offers unparalleled leak protection for young swimmers. Its snug and secure fit around the waist and thighs ensures that any accidents are contained, providing peace of mind for both parents and swimming facilities.

Excellent Insulation: The wetsuit’s neoprene material offers fantastic insulation, keeping my child warm and comfortable during swim sessions. This is particularly beneficial in cooler pools or during outdoor water activities, as it allows my little one to enjoy the water for extended periods without getting cold.

Easy to Put On and Take Off: The Splash About Happy Nappy Wetsuit is designed with convenience in mind. Its front zipper makes it incredibly easy to put on and take off, even when dealing with a wriggly toddler. This feature has made our swimming trips much less stressful.

Love this but my baby was on the cusp of sizes, he wore it 3 times in center parcs and he had deep marks on his legs post swim. Extremely expensive for the time used. I bought the next size up on Vinted for a few quid in very good conditio

The leg area seemed tight whereas top half seem more roomier. I added a swim nappy just to make life easy if baby had pooed. Have used once, happy with product so far.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBaby is 4 months old, and this wetsuit fit him perfectly (although I don’t think it will last much past 6 months).
This wetsuit kept him warm and happy in the pool, but when it was time to get him out of it MY GOD was it a challenge! I chose this one because it has long sleeves but think in the future I would go for a wrap around suit instead because who wants to deal with a screaming baby in a pool changing room as you try to contort their arms and legs out of a skin tight suit?!

Our baby was gifted one when he was 2 months, and we used it so much. The baby’s tummy remains relatively dry and warm! We were so pleased we bought the bigger size now and use it every time we go for a swimming!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLike a typical wet suit they can be hard to get on and off ( more so when wet). Make sure to have the logo on their chest. The first time I put it on back to front and oh my lord was it a fight to get that thing off. Our local pools are freezing. Really should have gone for a “warm one” with that being said although baby shivers , their is no blue lips ( some blue feet)

Bought for my 4 month old, for swim lessons. It’s great as it keeps him warm in the pool. I was told it runs small so i sized up, and it’s perfect!

3-6 mos size fitted perfectly on my average size 3 mos old with some room to grow. It has to be quite tight otherwise the water will easily come in and it will ruin the purpose. It has a bit of rubbery smell too but not too strong and cleared off after couple of washes. Works well, baby can stay in a coldish pool for about 20 minutes with his lips not turning blue – success!

Like any swimsuit, it’s hard to take off after. It’s a little on the tight side, I bought a 6-12 months and my baby is on the small side according to the red book.

I got this wetsuit as its a requirement to have a happy nappy for my 9 month old for his first swimming lessons and I found it great. The fit is perfect and not too stiff or tight for him which i was dreading when getting him in anf out of it. Really great buy and I’d definitely recommend this!

Ordered the 0-4 months size for my 6 week old baby. He still fits into 1 month sized baby grows and 0-3 months are usually slightly too big on him. This wetsuit did not fit at all, I could just about get it up his legs so will be returning and ordering the next size up

Great product. Length comes up a little short but width is fine. The grip around the arms and legs is also fine. I’ve since bought the full length one identical. This one comes with the neoprene nappy inside attached which was good as it didn’t say anything about it. The full length one does not have the neoprene nappy attached so I’ve since bought a separate one for that. The zip this item has on the back is fabulous!! Easier to put on then I initially anticipated but do give yourself time if you too need to get to class. My 9 week old was able to do 30 minutes in a cooler pool (not a baby pool) with this on. I think it will last her till 4 monthswell I’m hoping! She’s now 3 months. She only wore it at 9 weeks but will deffo have space to wear it still for now.

My baby is 4 months old but mostly wears 6-9 month clothes and is around 10kg. I ordered the 12-18 month size which fits him but with a little space to grow. We spent about 20 minutes in the pool, and when I took the suit off he was lovely and warm underneath. He wore a disposable swim nappy underneath and the swimsuit created a nice seal around his legs so I was pretty confident there wouldn’t be any leaks. Happy with purchase.

I love this wetsuit that I purchased for my 14 month old. However, unlike many of the reviews I found this item far larger not small.
Frustratingly I found there was only a size option of 1-2 years, and would have preferred half size.
Therefore this garment is far too big for my boy…but it will have to do.
The print is great, very bright and vibrant and I can tell the garment is well-made

This costume is super cute and warm. We had to use a happy nappy for our babies swimming lessons and the company recommended splash about products. I’m so glad they did it’s wel worth the money and keeps my baby super warm in the pool. The swimming company advised that she needed a nappy and a wrap, however, this all in one costume meant that I didn’t need to purchase a wrap because this was warm enough. It’s similar material to we a wetsuit so keeps baby warm and protects from and leaks ok the pool.

The sizing is not great on this item. I bought size 12-24 months for my 14 month old but when it came the item was too big and the packaging actually sizes in kg. If the sizing was advertised in kg I would have ordered the smaller size.
I bought this as my son was getting cold in the swimming pool but because its to big it doesn’t keep the heat in.

I registered my son and I for baby swimming and they only accept happy nappies. My 5 month-old boy has a very sensitive skin with Eczema so it hought about buying a wetsuit. I saw couple of comments saying that it wasn’t fitting and i was a bit worried but it suited perfectly. Bear in mind that it has to leave socks prints around the thighs. It can be tough to put it on and off when it’s wet as it is tight to hold the nappy in place and avoid nasty surprises and a very embarrasing situation in the pool!
I would recommend to measure your baby first you can find on some baby swimming course website the measurement for each happy nappy size and go from there. Don’t buy too big as some baby swimming associations will not allow your baby to swim if the happy nappy does not fit.

I love these, they keep my little one warm so she loves swimming even when the pool is a little colder! I’ve been using it since she was 10 weeks. The only downside and reason for 4 stars is the sizing is a bit out. My baby is now 4 months and we have the Medium which is 3-8 months however there is no way she will be in this till 8 months, in fact I’m going to have to buy a bigger one in the next month so I’d say it’s more 3-6 months at most. Also they are quite hard to get on, so when I get her next one I’m going to go for the wrap style that opens flat.
