The QCK+ is a classic staple this mousepad shines against all others even those outside it’s class. The grip and glide is great and for gaming if you don’t know what pad you want it’s a no brainer especially for those who play a lot of CSGO.

However being a cloth pad without stitched edges too leaves more to be asked for in terms of durability as the pad is very thin and flimsy it will need replacing often.

hin but not flimsy- it’s a nice clean looking pad and feels great too. mouse gliding is smooth and my hand is also very grateful for this purchase (i was using a cutting mat before this…).

Good quality, the cursor of my mouse is much more precise and it does not shake anymore (as it used with the previous pad). I only got a small size and used to game and it is quite good, although I can’t really compare the experience with having a larger size pad.

My mouse moves amazingly with the mousepad, providing a speedy mouse move. The design is very cool and it fits my setup perfectly. it is also very easy to clean and is not a hassle. No complaints.

5.0 out of 5 stars amazing mousepad

The mouse mat is very good to use and it has no kind of friction for my mouse so my mouse just glides which is perfect for when I play shooting games. It is quite small tho for gaming but that’s my problem because I bought this size mouse may

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI had to repurchase this after switching to a different mousemat. My old one was starting to wear after years of use, so I switched to a plasticity mat I had lying around, the steel series mousemat is so much more comfortable to use that I had to buy a new one.
The material provides smooth mouse movement, and is comfortable when your hand is touching it. I’m not sure if it’s washable but will be trying as it can get a little dusty after heavy use.
This one is definitely small, but that is preferable for me as I don’t like it taking a lot of desk space, and I can slip it in my backpack when I need to take my laptop and work elsewhere.

Cheap and good quality, lasts a good two or three years of good usage before it starts getting white marks and needs to be replaced.

I think that the material used to print the white SteelSeries logo in the bottom left corner has changed since the older versions and is more prone to peeling and feels weird if your fingers touch it, which is rare however. I have seen reviews where it ends up peeling which did not happen in the older versions.

Regardless, still a good purchase for the price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersExactly what you’d expect from a good quality mouse mat, stays in place, doesn’t shift around and has a nice feeling to it. My mouse glides across it like it’s a freshly cleaned wooden floor and im in socks.

I like the minimalist design, the logo has cracked a little but honestly who even looks at that? It’s a mouse mat, there to be used thoroughly.

10/10 would buy again, not like it’ll be happening anytime soon because there’s zero marks on it, none at all. Delightful.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a good mat – I bought this for a fairly bumpy table and my mouse issues have now been resolved. The major downside is that this mat comes rolled up, and because of this the mat will not sit completely flat on the table. I’ve weighed it down with a heavy object over a couple of days but it still won’t go completely flat.

No quirks, no gimmicks, the QcK is a mousemat which simply works, and still manages to look fantastic on any desk.

It has a very grippy rubber base and a smooth fabric lining on top. The mat doesn’t move at all during use, so it’s perfect for competitive gaming. Mice move very smoothly over the fabric surface and never seem to catch on anything.

I’ve been using my previous QcK every single day for well over two years, and it’s still in perfect condition, so I bought another for my partner to replace her extremely old freebie “mat”. The new versions of these have no “Steelseries” text on them, which is purely a style choice – there’s no other differences as far as I can tell. I don’t see mine wearing out any time soon, but if it does, I’d be happy to buy another to replace it.

This mousemat is absolutely perfect for those on a budget, or anybody who just wants a simple mousemat that doesn’t have any gimmicks. And you can just chuck it in the wash with dark clothes when it gets dirty.

This was the first mouse pad I had ever bought and so far I am extremely satisfied with it. I had never seen the real appeal of a mouse pad. Now I can’t use my mouse without it. Using a mouse on an “abrasive” surface such as a table does not feel that nice and does damage the mouse (as I found out).

    Pros and Cons:

    Pros:

Surface: The surface of this mouse pad is extremely nice. It has a very soft texture, which may not be to everyone’s liking, but it suited me fine. The underside of the mouse pad stuck to the table well and I had no problems with the mouse pad moving during use.

Thin-ness: Unlike other mouse pads this one is very thin making it easy to transport.

    Cons:

Size: This is a “mini” mouse pad so the size is quite small. I had no problems playing on it, but I do play on a higher sensitivity. If you do play with a lower mouse sensitivity this mat may not be for you.

    ================================================================================================================
    Bottom line:
This is an extremely good mouse pad in terms of quality. If you travel a lot or need mouse pad you can use on the go, I would definitely recommend this to you. If you are a desktop PC user I would look for bigger mouse pad that is less portable. If you play on a lower sensitivity then I cannot recommend this to you as it is too small. All in all this is a great mouse pad for laptop users.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a review for the “Gaming” edition of this mouse pad. I’ve owned this pad for about 3 weeks at the time of this review.

I bought this mouse pad because my cheap mouse was having difficulty tracking on my previous one (CM Storm Speed RX Small). This is the only other gaming mouse pad I have owned, so I can only make comparisons between the two of them.

This pad is a lot larger than a standard mouse pad, so make sure you have the desk space before buying. It measures ~32cm across and ~27cm up, which is quite a bit bigger than my previous pad. I didn’t buy it specifically because I wanted a bigger pad, but after having used it I wouldn’t go back, as I personally now find playing on lower sensitivity and using the whole width of the mouse pad to suit me better. At 600DPI, the width allows me to comfortably move between two monitors without having to lift the mouse. I play CS:GO at 600DPI and 2.5 ingame sensitivity, which allows for a full 180 turn without lifting the mouse on this pad.

The glide that this mouse pad provides is excellent, much better than using the mouse directly on the desk. As I previously mentioned, I bought this mouse pad because my previous one was having tracking issues. This pad provides a much better surface, almost completely eliminating the issues I was having (I eventually ended up buying a new mouse, but that is no fault of the mousepad, as the new mouse I bought tracks 100% flawlessly on the surface).

The bottom of the mouse pad has a rubber non slip base, which does its job. The edges of the pad are not stitched, but I’ve personally never had an issue with the edges coming apart on other mouse pads I’ve owned, so this isn’t a big deal for me.

The pad is quite thin, and doesn’t feel too “spongy” when pressed, presumably to provide a firmer surface for better glide. I imagine this could be a problem if you want to use the pad on a bumpy of uneven surface, as bumps underneath the pad won’t be cushioned out. The thinness has the advantage of making the pad very flexible though, which means it flattens out quickly after being rolled up and doesn’t curl at the edges.

One strange issue I’ve noticed is that the logo in the bottom left is quite large and printed on with a rubbery material, which causes friction and slows the mouse down if moved over it. This in effect means that the very bottom left corner of the pad is unusable. This has never bothered me whilst actually playing, but it’s still worth mentioning.

Overall though, this is a great pad that feels amazing to use due to it’s smooth glide, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a mouse pad that has the desk space and a flat surface to use it on.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Mouse Pad

So I purchased this mouse mat, and since doing so would not go back to an alternative.

I have had Razer Mouse Mats and Corsair Mousemats but this has been my favorite by far. I’m not a fan (at all) of hard mousemats so this “cloth” mousemat was perfect for me. I will say that I very quickly replaced this one, with a normal sized QcK as the mini is literally the size of a piece of bread. Not great for gaming.

However I repurchased and got the bigger version, keeping the mini for use at work.

The sticky at the bottom of the mousemat is VERY durable and the mousemat doesn’t move around your desk whilst gaming. I use this predominantly for FPS and MOBA’s and it performs great in both settings.

I have noticed, after a while of use it can start to irritate your hand a little, slightly like the cloth is beginning to rub.

Also, when it first arrives it does come very tightly packed and is packed wrapped up. This means for the first couple of days, it may not sit perfectly flush to the desk, as the ends are still slightly curved. However this quickly disappears and sites very nicely on the desk.

I use this with the SteelSeries Rival 300 Mouse and they look great together.

I’d love to see an RGB version of a cloth mouse mat, and think this could easily be done by using the standard hardbase RGB mouse mats have, but then using cloth for the actual surface.
I would definitely recommend this product, and would re-purchase if I needed to.

This is actually the first mouse mat i have ever bought in my life. To be honest i did not see any point in buying one when because i thought you could easily just use your desk so why buy a mouse mat? Well I suppose that works for some people but the thing is i also bought a new desk and the surface does not work well with my laser mouse so i was forced to buy a mouse mat. It took me a few weeks to choose this one because i did not know much about them i only knew about the cheap plastic ones that a lot of people seem to buy. With the cool patterns and designs. This mousemat has a special surface which makes it easier for you to move your mouse around it is very smooth so you require less mouse movement.

This is very good for design work and gaming. My primary use for it was going to be designing in Photoshop and Programming in a code editor. The mat is big enough so i have space to move but it does not take up a lot of space or look out of place on my desk. It is also fairly thin and does not move about on the desk when you have your mouse on it. I dont have to worry about scratching up my desk either because my mouse will always be on the mat. I think the only major negative i can think of is that it can be a dust magnet although you can just clean it with a cloth and that fixes the dust problem.

I generally try to give at least a month of use from a product before I write a review. I don’t feel I could give accurate feedback on a product I had just freshly unboxed, which seems to be part of the problem for some people.

I will agree, the packaging does seem strange. When I first pulled it from the box, it was curled very tightly and the corners liked to roll back up again. I loosely rolled the mat the other way, unrolled it again and laid it flat on my desk, and the grip on the bottom of the mouse mat corrected the curls. Ever since then, I have never had a problem with this mouse mat curling up. I don’t even think curling it the other way was necessary, the bottom of this mat has some serious grip on it. I suppose my desk is made from real wood, so that may have an effect on it.

I purchased this product to go with my SteelSeries Rival Optical Gaming Mouse, and they work well together.I doubt it would be a hard task, this mouse is insanely good with surfaces, but the mouse just glides over it. I play with a fairly high sensitivity, so it’s nice to have no resistance from the surface. I bought the smallest size, and its perfect for my needs. For a reference, it’s your typical mousemat size. If you’ve ever had a mousemat provided with anything, or ever seen one in an office or library, then you will know what I’m talking about. Yes, that size you’re thinking of now. That’s the one. Seriously.

There is not much you can say about a gaming surface, but I seem to have managed quite a few words. I recommended this to my housemate, who purchased the size up from mine, and that is also perfect (he is using a Roccat Kone, works fine).

Hands down the best cloth mousepad ever. I often don’t listen to the marketing gimmicks but instead base my opinions on real world use and reviews.

As many people know the SS QcK is a great option for both laser and optical… optical in particular and serves brilliantly for people who wish to play any type of game – especially FPS.

No skipping at all with my Zowie EC1 Evo, nor my older Sharkoon Fireglider Black, both of which are different sensor types but are excellent sensors nonetheless. The Zowie EC1 Evo of course having one of the best regarded optical sensors, the Avaga ADNS-3090. No a single skip ever and that is obviously down to having good sensors but also down to having a good mouse mat.

There is absolutely zero need to buy expensive cloth pad. This is how much a good cloth mouse pad should cost and no more than that. Hats off to the SteelSeries guys.

Oh and thankfully they have inverted the roll of the mouse mat now, so when you unravel it after taking it out of it’s packaging instead of the mousing surface curling upward at the end, it curves downwards, which means it flattens much quicker and doesn’t interfere at all with mouse/suface interaction.
