These little gems work masterfully, keeping an old storm door open allowing safe passage for cats from kitchen tp screen porch. I’ve never seen these in stores – is it any wonder Amazon is a go-to for just about everything? Might have spent hours going from store to store, not to mention expensive gasoline to no avail. No brainer!
Purchased these for some large doors at our office ended up buying 4 more. They are very heavy duty they do not slide because of rubber grippers on the bottom. the Stainless Steel makes them look very nice also.
These are exactly what I have been been looking for. I had previously been using rubber doorstops to tilt up the center channel speaker in my A/V system to aim the sound directly at my seated position. They looked cheap, which they were. These are so much classier looking. Very nice finish, with grippy rubber bottoms that don’t tend to slide along the glass shelf on which the speaker sits. I imagine they’ll work well as doorstops too, but that’s not what I wanted them for. 🙂
Needed a taller than normal door stopper for hard floor as some of our doors sit higher than normal and close over standard stoppers unless you use cardboard as well. These have worked out great as the grip is brilliant, so no sliding, and they are a higher profile so much more useful around the house, particulalry where the floors are smooth, Lino / Wood / Cork etc.
I shopped around as I needed a solid metal door stopper that my puppy couldn’t chew in bits!
So glad I paid the extra for these!
