For the price this is a good deal, beats paying 80 for the actual thing when this does the same thing, the cable is long and strong, a must buy if you don’t have the official link cable
I like the cable. However, before i had this one, i had the one without the charging port. The one without the charging port achieved 1 to 5 ms of latency on an application I am using. However on this one, the latency seems to bounce all over the place, sometimes goings as high as 60ms of latency…I wonder why…does the charging port integration cause some data transfer interruption?
Much prefer these sorts of cables over the standard usb c to usb for the oculus, mainly since you can charge the device as you play with it. I am a little wary of over charging the device as that can damage the battery charge over time, so I only plug in when I’m getting low power.
Quality-wise is as expected as is the length which is long enough to give you room without being too cumbersome. The ports ends are good quality and not too tight or loose. As for the price, it is about right for what you get. A good product overall.
The cable corresponds to the description.
Even if it is replacement, this does not detract from its performance.
It has an extra port which also enables fast charging.
Its compatibility is also fine.
The price might be a little high, but that’s fine for me.
Thanks for reading my review, I hope you found it helpful.

This is a great cable and also good value works well with our meta quest 2 and adds you that extra battery that’s always needed would definitely recommend this for users
Very sturdy and durable to
My son requested one of these and he was very happy when I gave it to him. He said the quality was as good as the well known ones and that he was extremely pleased with the extra port for extra charging.
I thought a braided wire would have been more long wearing but he said this was fine for what he uses and good quality.
This Oculus Quest2 link cable works great, and the design is absolutely amazing. Both ends are well-built, and the additional charging port on the cable is a real win and super handy. I am happy with the quality, and the cord itself is durable and well-made . The speed was very good when compared to my other link cables, and the connectors fit just as smoothly. Would recommend!
I got this for some casual PCVR gaming with my Quest 2. I was particularly impressed with the dedicated charging port included which allows for slow charging and prevents quick depleting while playing. The technology used to preserve the battery while charging is equally impressive. 5M is very sufficient in length to play comfortably. The signal and transmission from the PC is uncompromised in any way. Overall, my gaming experience was and is still smooth and enjoyable.
I’m in love with this simple but effective cable. I’ve recently got into using steam VR through my Quest 2. But the battery power limit of the quest always cuts my sessions short.
This cable allows me to keep a power lead in while also linked to the PC, which has greatly increased the time i can use the headset, and has been a great bonus for when i stream and need a longer battery life for the whole stream.
Recommended.
As an avid VR gamer, I’m always on the lookout for accessories that can enhance my experience. And this 5m link cable is a great addition! It provides good speeds and the length is perfect for what I need. The value for money is also decent, although the packaging is very basic and generic.
The thing I particularly like about this cable is the built-in additional port, which allows for fast charging during or after my VR sessions. This is really helpful, especially when playing for extended periods of time.
After asking, “what would you like for your birthday?”, the request, “a long interface cable for my Oculus headset and compatible with Meta Quest 2”, was received as the thing of nightmares.
Fortunately, I was pointed in the right direction to be parted from my hard earned cash.
I’m reliably informed, “good solid cable; play and charge at the same time; useful strap; sensible LED indicator”.
The only major problem I’m concerned about is that he no longer has to take a break for his batteries to recharge. Maybe I should consider purchasing an IV drip and ‘exit’ bags ? I’m joking. Mum rules. The constant threat of selling everything on eBay keeps the player adhering to the time limits.
Feedback from the saviour of galaxies, or whatever, “very good”. ‘Nuff said.
Bought this for my son’s VR set. It can be used to charge and also play at a time. It provides safe charging by controlling the current input inorder to keep the power within the appropriate range with the help of the provided chip. It is also provided with a LED light which indicates whether it is in charge or not. It also protects our device from short-circuit and over charging.
At 29.99, at the time of writing,
This :
Syntech Link Cable 5m Compatible with Oculus/Meta Quest 2 Accessories VR Headset, Separate USB C Charging Port for Sufficient Power, USB 3.0 to Type C Cord LED Light for Steam VR/Gaming PC
Is a well made, nicely designed bit of kit.
The cable is not braided nylon, unfortunately, as braided nylon cables are the strongest, easiest to live with, and most durable cables money can buy, as far as I have encountered.
However, this cable is strong, study, and should give many hours of happy Oculus-ing.
It has an additional USB-C in port, with an LED to signal if a successful link has been established.
This is a great feature, and gives a great extra function, and a way to keep charging while playing.
The link cable is equipped with an intelligent chip that controls the current input to keep the power within the appropriate range, thus protecting your Quest2 and computer from over-voltage, over-charging, and short-circuiting, ensuring the safe use and long battery life of your device.
This is great as it keeps my Oculus Quest, and my house, the way I like them…
Not on fire .
The charging link cable is plug-and-play and does not require a specific step to work.
In addition, this cable supports USB 3.0 transfer speed and connects to Quest2 without delay or getting stuck, giving you a great gaming experience.
The attached Velcro strap holds the link cable and Quest2 more tightly to prevent disconnection when moving. (Note: When connecting to your computer, plug the USB 3.0 cable into the USB A 3.1/3.0 port)
The 5m long and flexible quest2 link cable gives you plenty of room to move around or jump up and down, while losing all dignity, and poise.
At least you won’t have your cable pulled out due to a lack of cable length while you are doing so.
Value wise, the cable is well priced, and is considerably cheaper than branded cables.
Overall, a very good purchase, and a cable that will provide many happy hours gaming, or whatever stuff you get up to in virtual reality.
Recommended.
I hope you enjoyed our time together .
Thank you for reading my review .
This cable is just as good as many other link cables out there offering great speeds for seamless gameplay. The added bonus of this one though is that it comes with a built in additional port to allow you to plug in for fast charging after or during your sessions.
The negative for me is that it’s not a braided cable. I just feel like the braided cables are less likely to break.
Overall though decent purchase, little pricey but still cheaper than Meta’s own link cable, 4/5
The cable is quite impressive with its sturdiness but feels a slightly heavy to attach to the oculus.
My GPU was not in the supported list as it’s a little older but this seemed to work fine when I connected the Oculus to my PC to play games such as Half Life Alyx.
It has a good length that I can play in the middle of my room while the PC is on the edge.
I ordered this Syntech 5 metre link cable for my son’s Meta Quest 2 VR set
The cable arrives safely boxed and comes with instructions and velcro strip
The cable is thick and extremely sturdy. It definitely feels like a high quality cable. It’s 16ft in length and is made up of a 90 degrees angled USB-C to USB 3.0 cable with a separate USB-C charging port that has LED indicator light to indicate successful link
The cable is easy to set up and plug in. It worked with his Meta Quest 2 without issues or errors.
This cable now allows my son to play his VR for as long as he wants without it dropping power due to the additional charging port with smart technology chip that ensures he can continue playing whilst it charges without over charging or over voltage.
With the included velcro strip keeping the 90 degree angle USB-C in place and secure, and the long 16ft cable, he’s able to move around quite efficiently without tripping, getting tangled or the cable coming out of his headset.
Overall my son is happy with this new link cable. He definitely prefers it to the standard cable. We found the cable worked effectively and without any issue
