Nice little card game, easy to hold cards, not too easy to crease and wipe clean! Fun and colourful, good if dobble a little too advanced. 6.70 is a good deal, recommended.

This is a great little family game, with a variation of quite literally, go fish.
You get a selection of different fish ‘families’ that you need to try to get4 of the same, pretty identical to traditional go fish but a lot simpler and more engaging for children. The cards have bright colours and clear pictures of each fish to collect. There is also a little fishy fact file leaflet to pass the time while someone shuffles the deck.
At first we were unsure as our 4 year old has only just started reading but they’ve actually printed numbers still on each card, so when he didn’t know the name he could easily ask for the number. He grasped the concept really quickly but when his dad started winning he resorted to cheating by asking for pretty much any number or denying he had cards. He new what he was doing though, he’s just a sore loser lol.
Theo lay downside to this game is we didn’t consider how a small child would hold a deck. It would be perfect if a little scrabble style holder was included where it is aimed at kids (we ended up using a letter holder) but that would be an added bonus and not something I feel it should be marked down for. Will definitely be making this a regular game.
This is a pack of cards perfect for playing snap or go fish with younger children.
These are a perfect item to have in your pocket when travelling with children that might need distracting at some point with a fun game.
My granddaughter gets really excited when she is playing and loves these cards for their colourful pictures of a dozen different sea creatures, her mother is a finding nemo fan!
The cards are a decent quality and should stand up to a decent amount of use!
Happy to help.
This is a simple game of snakes and ladders, it’s great fun and my kids love playing this. The game is well made and not too flimsy, and the size is nice and compact.
My six year old little boy loves this game and it is the perfect game for our sunday evenings playing. The board is made well out of a durable thick board which folds together easily into the box. The image is printed on to a high quality with bright colours. My little one loves the fish on the board as well as the sneaky snakes including the one near the top which gets me every time much to his enjoyment.
Th game is easy to play and is based on the usual snakes and ladders game. The dice is a durable wooden one along with wooden pieces in four different colours. The pieces and the board are lightweight but this does not take away from the durability.
Good quality game, well designed, great layout and features. Excellent package and compact size for traveling.
This game is A classic that you can’t go wrong with , more importantly it is also a brilliant game to get the kids off the Internet.
I like to see classic board games with a different theme and this is really bright and colourful.
Along with playing the game your kids also get to learn the names of several species of marine life and a few facts.
The playing pieces however don’t really match the theme, it would have been so easy to make them a fish shape instead of looking like a Cluedo piece.
The price is a bit eye watering for such a basic game.
Hope you found my review helpful
This card game represents good old fashioned family fun at its best!
Advertised for ages 3 years and over, Go fish is a simple matching game.
Each player gets dispensed 5 cards each at random from a shuffled deck.
Then the starting player asks the player next to them if they have a fish card they need?
The objective being to collect all 4 matching fish.
If the player asked has any of the named fish ALL them cards must be handed over. But if they don’t have any they must say “Go fish” and the player asking must pick up a card from the leftover pack.
A simple but easy to learn card game.
Illustrations are nice and the box is strong and sturdy to keep them all safe.
Pack contains a small pamphlet with fun fish facts in, which is a nice little addition.
Simple game for most the family, a decent quality print and proceeds go to a good. Remember landing on the head or tale end will send you down. Not landing on his body/tummy.
If you don’t own snakes and ladders then this is the one for owning x
The game comes in a nice presentable box. The dice and counters are made of good quality wood. The game board is also of good quality and looks very bright, colourful and appealing. The game is simple to play – it is basically snakes and ladders with the game board having a fish theme. The whole game is made of cardboard and wood so environment friendly. Light in weight and compact so easy to carry when travelling.
My only quibble is the price. I am not really sure I would want to pay 14.99 for snakes and ladders.
I wasn’t expecting a nice little leaflet inside this game telling us how to protect our oceans and tips and encouragement for safer and cleaner seas. There is a Fishy Fact File with 8 facts about fish. And a Name Guide telling us what the names of the fish are on the game board. It’s a good idea and a nice touch, it made the game of snakes and ladders have a nice talking point with the kids. My boys aged 4 & 6 love playing snakes and ladders and always play well. This was a fun game. The board is good quality, a little on the small side, 40 x 40 cm square, just big enough play spaces for a couple of pieces on them. Lots of big and small snakes and ladders to make it competitive and the game play not too fast. I was also encouraged by the pledge that purchasing this puzzle supports Ocean Generation. A lovely game, well designed. A little high in price, but not discouraged by that given the little extras with this game.
Talking Tables Fish Themed Snakes and Ladders Game for Kids | Classic Board Game for Children & Family with Educational Ocean Fact File (FISH-SNAKE-LADDER)
This comes well presented in its own box so would be most suitable to give as a gift for the right kid.
This is basically the same as your average snakes and ladders but instead instead of snakes there’s fishes ,you still have the ladders …….makes it a little different !
When I was a kid I would play snakes and ladders with my sister for hours ,it’s definitely a classic board game that will be around forever ………..and now I play the fishy themed version with our 3 grandchildren!
There’s lots of fun to be had with this game , it’s an easy game to play.
The quality is pretty good and I can recommend, it’s exactly as the description describes.
Price is average.
This is a lovely board game for children. The colours are lovely and bright. The board is a good thick material, and comes folded in a pretty good size box for taking out. The counters are in a cute little bags. Really well thought out. Can’t wait to play with my kids!
As such disappointed because I received the wrong item (was meant to receive the dominos, but got this instead) BUT once I saw how fun the game is, it was really great. Dominos wouldve been preferable as my 2 year old can do them unlike this game, but doesnt stop my partner and me from enjoying this game in the meantime lol He had to go fish quite a few times. The illustrations on the cards are super fun and engaging for little ones. They’re also really sturdy and will last long. Super important especially with kids. Quality overall is really good and I also like the size of the cards. Great family fun and easy to bring with you on outtings and holidays. Can only recommend
Ordered this as the kids love a games night and this is perfect to add to our growing collection
The game is really simple to play which is great as the younger children can play with ease
Comes in a lovely colourful box
Great for taking on holidays too
A quiet and exciting game to spend good times with your family.
Snakes and Ladders is a classic and very popular, a pleasure to replay now as an adult with my children.
The game board is well made sturdy and colourful. As well as the pawns and the dice.
An oceanic path between ladders and snakes, with the aim of reaching box 100.
May the best man win!
This is a cute little card game. Suitable for children and families. Portable and easy to play, it comes in a handy box which is a little bit bigger than a pack of standard cards.
It contains 40 playing cards, instructions and a fishy fact file. The cards aren’t very thick but they do feel like they have a slight protective coating on them.
The object of the game is simple, collect 4 cards of the same fish/aquatic animal, either from your opponents or from the draw pile. Once all the cards are gone, person with the most complete sets is the winner. It’s easy for younger children to learn and join in with and good for people of all ages.
The price is about average compared to other similar card games.
A slightly different take on the old fashioned and much loved snakes and ladders. Plays exactly the same except this version is under the sea.
The board is exceptionally thick and good quality. It’s made to fold into quarters and opens up easily and precisely, the pictures are clear, colourful and a good representation of the fish they depict.
There’s also a small booklet giving information about the fish depicted on the board.
If you can get the children away from electronic devices this would be a fun game to play.
It’s basically just snakes and ladders but in a fishy theme. The board is nicely designed with different marine animals on it and the booklet includes a few different facts about fish.
I’d have preferred some fish themed playing pieces instead of just coloured wooden ones if I were being picky.
My children used to play this years ago. Four generations enjoyed playing this game immensely during the Christmas season, from my father in his 80s to my granddaughter aged 6. Great fun!
An easy to pick up game played by the whole family. The numbers on the cards are a great help for our 5 year old who cannot read the names on the cards, but I’m sure he will soon pick up the names and he understands the game easily.
