Works as it should. Response is crisp and active. Good value for the price. Works well on all surfaces, so far. Blue tooth connectivity very good, this mouse works a lot better than a previous purchase [a Premium manufacturer] for a significantly reduced cost. Good choice of colour options.
I put the batteries in and up popped a message on my computer asking if I wanted to install the mouse. I didn’t have to click anything to get this message. It just happened. Plug and play used to be a big thing, but this mouse didn’t even need that!
I bought the first mouse in August 2022, the grey/black one, to replace the mouse I was using until then, which was not Bluetooth, and it fulfilled its purpose very well.
The size of this mouse is perfect for the size of my hand, which is big, I have no discomfort using it. The Bluetooth range allows me to sit on my sofa and use the mouse from a distance, with the other mouse, unfortunately, the infrared sensor was suffering from some obstacles, such as the keyboard and the speaker.
It’s an excellent product, so much so that I just bought my second one, to use with my personal laptop, and to differentiate I decided to buy it in another colour. Could I use the same mouse on both laptops? It could, but I’d rather have a mouse for each device.
I chose this particular mouse as it connects directly via bluetooth which is what i needed for my Macbook Pro. Works great connected easily and feels quite robust. Perfect for day to day use
I got this for occasional use when I’m in bed, to access my PC desktop (which is in another room) using a Nvidia Shield TV and an app called Moonlight, which it works great for. I was considering a trackball and a few other devices but after being surprised at how well optical mice worked in bed, I opted to get this. It works fine for my use case and bluetooth connectivity means I can connect it wirelessly to the Nvidia Shield without needing to occupy a valuable USB port. So it seems a great mouse for the price particularly if you’re looking for a bluetooth one specifically.
Pairing was easy, using it with an Acer Swift 3 laptop, that only has 2 USB ports. Nice ergonomic design, I have a wired Technet M268 gamiing mouse for my desktop PC which works great, but I wanted just a normal bluetooth mouse for my Laptop, so I could avoid having a receiver sticking out of the USB port to catch on things and break off. My laptop only has 2 USB ports anyway, so it was nice to free up one. Works well, happy buyer!
Good for now, but it slips from my hand!
No good grip I am afraid… I am a light user and I do not over-hold a computer mouse, as I go much faster when working.
Still have an older version of Microsoft Sculpt and it is slightly better because it has lateral rubber grips.
This Tecknet one does not really have good rubber and unfortunately they though more of its looks than grip.
I already had Tecknet accessories and they generally are good.

Highly portable but not on the small side, which is exactly what I wanted!
The main reason I bought it was because you don’t have to plug anything in to the USB to make it work. It connects via bluetooth 3.0 or 5.0 and as long as your device has bluetooth 3 or 5 then it should be detected easily.
I have tested and used this mouse on my Android phone, Fire Stick, Steam Deck, Laptop and my main PC with no issues whatsoever!
You get 2 side buttons, which are a great addition for gaming or even just for extra handy hotkeys in photoshop or other programs. The buttons and mouse-wheel are solid and not flimsy/loose like a lot of cheap mice are. It also has a decent weight to it, which is due to the thickness and high quality of plastic used. I like that and hate to feel cheap thin flimsy rubbish which is what most bluetooth mice are made of.
So I feel you get the best of all worlds with this mouse as it’s more than good enough to be a permanent fixture either as a desktop mouse or just leave it on your armchair and use it to control your Smart TV/Fire Stick etc. The things you can use it for are limitless.
The switch underneath turns it off and conserves the batteries while you store or transfer it. The batteries will last you an awful long time too, which I was quite surprised by as bluetooth devices usually drain quite a lot of power. But as long as it’s in close range to your device, you’ll get a lot of time from your batteries. In my experience if you’re more than a couple of feet or so away then you may see them drain quicker. Which goes for all BT devices.
I only have one slight criticism and that is that the side grip isn’t rubber, it’s just hard plastic with a matte texture. But for the price of it you can’t really complain, and it feels comfortable enough for me for even long gaming sessions!
As a PC gamer of nearly 30 years I’ve had loads of mice, but I think you could easily spend a lot more than this and get a lot less in return. So I’d say it’s quite a bargain!
I’m very happy with mine and even bought 2 more as gifts for family members.

Product has a mind if it’s own. Doesn’t like to be woke up from standby… difficult to wake up.. difficult to get it working once it’s slept… reminds me of myself to be fair…
Next time it happens it’s getting launched through the window.
All tho the mouse was not connecting to my pc, the customer service to try and resolve the issue was excellent. Offered many solutions to try and fix the connection but did not work.
I bought this looking for (1) for it to work on a range of surfaces, and (2) to save a USB port by using Bluetooth. It does both, though I have in the past had mice that work directly on my shiny white desk surface, where this one doesn’t, but it seems to work on all other surfaces I’ve used it on.
Perfect lightweight mouse even with the two AA batteries. The Left and Right mouse buttons are very clicky and the scroll wheel feels very responsive.
But it would have been great if the clicking noise had been silent. The clicks noise is higher than the traditional wired mouse (compared with Dell’s wired USB mouse) which is annoying otherwise it’s a great mouse with an overall feature and feels.
It works with windows and mac with Bluetooth. Side buttons work on mac.
I chose this mouse as there is no dongle required (my laptop has only 1 usb port) which I needed to be kept for an external drive. Works fine, the dpi could be better but I guess thats the compromise of a bluetooth device.

Amazon has a habit of combining different items into one review stream, so this is for the model above. It is the one without separate USB receiver.
I chose this model as it connects directly to the computer’s built in bluetooth and does not require a separate rx to be plugged into the USB port. For some reason more expensive than the units that come with a rx.
Mouse comes in a nice simple cardboard box with a printed instruction sheet, detailing the buttons and how to pair it with the computer. Pairing was really easy, it took longer to find the on/off switch on the mouse :o)
I was confused by all these DPI numbers. These are the resolution, or how accurately you can move the mouse pointer to a specific point on the screen. It also determines how far you physically need to move the mouse for the pointer to move. My mouse is either used on the chair arm or my knee, so setting it to a low value allows the mouse to physically move a little and get big movement on the screen. I can set it so the chair arm (or my knee) is the same size required to move the mouse anywhere on the screen. The resolution is easily changed by pressing a button, located just below the scroll wheel (for when I get old and fat & get bigger knees :o)
Left/right and scroll wheel buttons all have nice positive click feelings. side buttons are located above the thumb rest, so you have to lift your thumb up to use them. My old Microsoft mouse had a button under the thumb, which I thought was better, as one does not have to move ones thumb.
The clicks are quite loud & could annoy somebody watching the telly in the same room.
The mouse has a number of battery saving modes, these are automatic (as far as I know) and cannot be adjusted. so sometimes a button has to be pressed to bring it into life (after a tea break). There is also an on/off button, so this will save even more battery power and also useful when storing in a bag, to stop the buttons being pressed and keep waking the mouse up.
The mouse runs on two AA batteries. The device warns of low battery by a flashing LED and also power remaining in % can be viewed on the PC. Battery life is said to be two years. AA batteries can be bought anywhere, so probably less faff than having a lipo battery & USB charging.
Like most peeps, I cannot compare this to other models or brands, but for me, despite the higher than average price, it feels and looks of good quality, fits the hand comfortably and nothing can be faulted with the product.
The bottom side of the mouse (where you insert the batteries) was impossible to reattach so I had to go inside it and snap two small pieces of plastic off for it to go in, never before have I encountered a mouse like this, I was expecting it to slide in and click but no, I had to damage the product to get it to go in, that or it could have stated in the instructions how to reattach the bottom (Unless I missed that part?)
Overall it is pretty good though, connected it to my device and works like a charm.
Picture this – you are filling in a contact form within a browser or filling in a customer sign up form and you’ve spent 10 mins typing. Next minute you accidentally brush the side button and the browser goes back a page. Yes you’ve lost everything. This happens so easily with this mouse and has happened numerous times. Luckily I recently found a fix via searching for the issue on YouTube but I’d suggest a rethink from the manufacturer on how this can be addressed without the user having to seek out a 3rd party fix.
Decent looks, features & build quality (for the price), weight of batteries help improve that feel too. I *did* have an issue with BT but it turned out to be BT on my Zenbook, not this mouse (momentary freezing of the mouse pointer or scolling function – which is very annoying) but after checking this with 3 BT devcies and speaking to Asus; the issue is with the Zenbook BT-Wifi-Bluetooth card (so the Zenbook is going back to Amazon from where I purchased it). So, apologies to the manufacturer – I was wrong.
Finally; the grey one was cheapest & IMO, a better colour but I needed it quickly so spent a little more on the glossy black one as it was availble next day rather than in a few days. My only real gripe is that the glossy part (beneath finger-tips) seems a little sticky, as I say, its the glossy coating but this isn’t a major thing. other than that, its a geuinely great mouse so far (takes 2 AA batteries, require both installed to run – unlike some otehr mce which cn run on just one even when there are two bays for batteries).
If you are a macbook user (or any USB C user for that matter) and want a mouse for those odd tasks (and games) and spend all your monies on your mac (or other shiny USB C laptop), this is a great mouse. It does away with atrocious dongle system which plagues most budget and mid-range mice alike. This alone makes it a great purchase for any company, no more trashing mice for lost dongles. No dongle, means no usb c to usb converter. Winners all around.
Connecting is easy. Like real easy. But it is limited to one device at the time in memory. So forget about using it on different devices easily. It might be possible, but I had to resynchronise each time. So I made it the dedicated mouse for my mac and just my mac.
It goes to sleep when not immediately used and wakes up pretty fast as well. No complaints here. It is heavy though. Maybe this is personal preference, but it took me some time to get used to its weight. In no way a dealbreaker, just take into account a little growing pain when familiarising with the device.
One final piece of advice, get the mousepad sold separately from Tecknet. Or any mousepad you already own. While it might work without, it works real well with one.
I bought this mouse (BM308) to use with my Dell Latitude 5290 and I must say it works a treat. I chose the grey colour and it matches perfectly with the laptop.
The mouse is a decent full size unit designed for a right handed user so sorry to the lefties out there (see photos – and size compared with an iPhone 6 and a credit card). And I like the fact that it is Bluetooth enabled as it means I can free up a USB socket on my laptop which was previously used to house the receiver for a 2.4 GHz wireless mouse (which used to be a very good yet smaller Tecknet portable mouse).
I like the fact that there are 5 different DPI settings available is an added bonus and I think most will use the 1200 or 1600 DPI settings unless working with a large screen estate and desk which allows for a bit more wider movements when using the mouse. And given that the button is high up and away from the scroll when fingers; you are unlikely going to be pressing that button accidentally. I also like the fact that there is a forward and back button on the left side of the mouse. Gosh, I haven’t used extra buttons on a mouse in a long time but I they are useful for sure.
The on/off button is a bonus as sometimes I don’t use the mouse and just popping it into my bag can mean the mouse is accidentally left on and moving/clicking away. So a quick slide of the button and it’s all off which is just simple but highly effective. The sleep feature works quite well and it wakes easily with movement or a simple click. Battery life is great too and 2xAA batteries should last a good while (I am using rechargeable batteries). . And with a good Bluetooth range, it has saved my bacon a few times when I have forgotten to pack my presentation pointer when presenting to an audience.
Overall a cheap and cheerful mice which will serve me well in the office like it has done already. And just as good, if not better than the Logitech/Microsoft equivalent.
Grab yourself one of these mouse as you won’t be disappointed.
Having tried a dozen or more Bluetooth mice as a professional CG artist, this has to rank as one of the most comfortable I have used. It is very light, sits in my palm perfectly and the buttons are largely intuitively positioned – although it took me a little while to get used to not accidentally touching the forward and backward buttons on the left. The mouse connects and reconnects very readily to all of my Macs, from the older desktops to my new MacBook Pro. The instructions only quote compatibility with various Windows operating systems but luckily for me it works perfectly with Apple computers. Connectivity is something which I have found to be an annoying problem with other brands, where constant re-pairing or waiting for your connection to ‘wake up’ can accumulate a lot of lost time during a working day, but this mouse seems particular good at reconnecting. I find the default DPI of 1200 plus the next step up to 1600 perfectly adequate for most usage, though I do like that it has the option of higher resolutions for more detailed work. 3D animation software often requires three button modifiers, and if I had one criticism it is that the scroll wheel when used simply as a middle-mouse-click is quite sensitive. However, this wouldn’t affect most every day use and it’s something I’m already getting used to so this is slightly picky of me. I can’t speak for the battery life as I haven’t had it too long but the instructions speak of intelligent power saving and, as the mouse sleeps and reawakens so consistently well, I feel pretty confident about economic battery usage. Altogether, a nice, reliable, ergonomic mouse, one of the best I’ve used.
1 – Packaging
The mouse is packaged in a small recyclable box with the mouse itself wrapped in some bubble wrap. More than sufficient for a mouse of this price and I appreciated how easy it was to open.
2 – Connection
On first attempt, for whatever reason, I struggled to get the mouse to connect to my Macbook. Turning the mouse and my laptop off and on again (the age old trick) and the second time round it connected flawlessly. Since then (I’ve been using it for a month or two, its remained connected no problem).
3 – Mouse
The mouse itself is much bigger than I expected and slightly disappointing for me personally. For work/productivity mice (which this was purchased for) I prefer a smaller mouse that can be held effortlessly in the palm of my hand. This is probably one of the largest mice I’ve had. This is bigger than both my G502 (Logitech) and my old Razer Deathadder to give some perspective. If you like small mice, I’d probably move on.
It does have a nice weight to it however and if you are accustomed to larger mice or you prefer larger mice, then this should be extremely comfortable to use for extended periods of time.
Not much else to say in terms of functionality. Scrollwheel feels solid and should last for a sufficient amount of time (especially considering the price of the product), forward/back buttons have a nice click to them.
NOTE – If like me you prefer the scrollwheel to follow your scroll direction, but the trackpad to scroll inverted (i.e scroll down goes up and vice-versa) there is a simple and free app which allows both your trackpad and mouse to scroll independently. Google: Scroll Reverser, Pilot Moon.
4 – Battery
Although I’ve only owned this mouse for a couple of months now the seller does claim a 12 month battery time.
All in all a good purchase however I would have preferred it to be slightly smaller.
Having bought another, different Bluetooth mouse which died after a few days, I was reluctant to purchase another.
Budget is an issue as I have a few devices that use Bluetooth technology. Some mice are silly money and sometimes you are paying the inflated price for a name.
I have used this successfully on both Windows 7 and MacOS systems.
People have commented on its shape and size. It falls somewhere between normal size and the ridiculous ‘laptop mouse’ size. It fits in my ‘builders’ hands easily and works on almost all surfaces – although glass tables and glossy surfaces will generally defeat any optical mouse.
The buttons are covered in a non-slip coating and they fall easily under my fingers. The scroll wheel is robust and gives a good tactile response.
Resolution is excellent and I have used it for drawing and graphics work. It is very responsive to minute movements.
The battery compartment is accessed by a small lid with a secure but (to my mind) flimsy clip which may eventually snap.
Battery life is good. The mouse goes to sleep and can be easily woken by clicking on the buttons or scroll wheel. A red glow from inside confirms it has woken up.
Unfortunately, for me, this mouse does not travel well as any knock or jolt in the laptop case can wake it from sleep and drain the batteries. The addition of a small switch would have gained it a full five stars.
On this I offer 4.5 but can only select 4 stars as the next number. Not worth five stars.
For folks who read an earlier version of my review, I apologise as the review I originally posted was for a different BlueTooth mouse but somehow it got posted for this one. That other mouse, also available from Amazon, does have a switch and travels well.
