Easy to hold with a variety of colours, sounds and sensations. Feels nice, and is is light so easy for little hands to grab and hold. I gave this as a gift to a little one who already had the firefly version and to be honest once you have one the others are pretty much the same other than the shape! Not the cheapest but they do look and feel a quality toy and little one seemed to be happy to fiddle with it for a while at a time. The teether ring is pretty basic and didn’t seem to appeal but is easy for a baby to hold. Nice toy.
I bought this as an Amazon warehouse used product, with no idea what condition it would arrive in but past purchases have been excellent and the price on Prime day was excellent.
It’s in perfect condition, original tags still attached.
My grandson absolutely adores it, his eyes light up whenever I give it to him.
The open ring at the top means I can attach it to his play gym hoops or clip it to the bar of his bouncy chair.
It’s got lots of features such as crinkly section, a squeaky strawberry and jingly head.
There’s even a teether at the end of his body.
Brilliant toy, fantastic value, don’t hesitate when considering a purchase from Warehouse products, they are the best value!
Hope you found my review helpful
Bought this (along with the book) for my nephew when he was born, and it is perfect! very interactive – lots of different parts to it. He hasn’t started teething yet but i’m sure it will be great for when he does. It really cute and colourful.
Our 4 month old baby has had this toy for the past 2 months and really loves it. It’s engaging to look at, has lots of textures to explore, the teething parts are regularly being chewed and it rattles which always entertains our little one.
Super cute toy that I can take out and about with me and baby. It’s more of a rattly toy than specifically for teething, as the teething bit isn’t huge, but still works well.
My 4 month old really likes him. He likes the various textures, colours and sounds, and has started biting the little feet (he only bites the paddle bit at the end if im holding it). Its better when he is holding it as opposed to it just hanging as it is a big stick essentially but that means he can grab it with both hands. There are lots of things like the squeaky strawberry that he hasnt discovered. I personally find the eyes a little bit creepy looking but my baby doesnt seem to mind!!
Bought for my 2 month old and be still loves it now at 6 months. He didn’t like toys with a lot of sound but this makes a nice soft rattle noise, and it seems to play with it a lot longer than anything else we have ever bough
his was the first toy my baby noticed and reached for – fave toy since birth and he is not 6 months. I hang it on the clothes horse and the pram hood, take it in the car and to lunches etc – keeps him occupied for ages and good for development – highly recommend
Very happy with this item. However too large for my LG to shove in her mouth, she does like to chew the ears and feet lol. In addition we bought the smaller version from a well known store. She loves them both. Nice bright colours, clips easily On to the pram.
Lovely item and great quality. Bought for a friend’s little boy and having seen the great quality first hand I will be reordering another for my own. Quick delivery – highly recommended. Thank you!
Grandson loves the book and has a couple of small caterpillar toys which he has loved from just a couple of months old. This is bigger and has more interesting features, now he is 7 months, he was very excited by it and played with it for ages. Great that it has a link to attach it to a play bar and has tags like labels which he also loves.
Lovely toy, nice bright colours, the only reason I gave 4 stars is that the squeaker in the strawberry is not easy to press, was hard for me so will be hard for baby.
Absolutely love this! Bought one last year for my cousin, and it’s her absolute favourite toy. Have now bought another one for my niece, and I’m sure it will be just as popular! Great way I think to start introducing children into stories, as I know I loved this book as a kid. Loads of different sensory things on the toy from the tags, balls, crinkly bits and the teether at the end is soft. Perfect!
This is a fantastic sensory play toy which my baby has very much enjoyed. It has many well thought out little details for babies to enjoy including beads on a ring, a teether tail, different textures of material, a jingling bell inside and best of all – little fabric tags (has anyone else noticed babies love the tags on plushies best of all?!). It’s attached securely to a nice hook for hanging in a cot, off a stroller or in our case to hang on our playmat gym to rotate the toys around and keep things new and interesting.
It’s quite a good size of toy too so when it is not hanging up my baby likes to put her arms around it and cuddle as well.
Bigger than i thought but that isn’t a bad thing at all! I have nothing bad to say about this as I’m a massive fan of TVHC! 🙂
I bought it for my son who was 5 months at the time so it’s attached to his play gym atm so he plays with it fine but won’t be able to squeeze it for the squeak for a while yet as it is a bit hard for him to do/his grabbing hold and keeping hold isn’t that great yet…
Would definitely recommend this product though because it is brightly coloured and rattles shop does grab baby’s attention!
My lil one is 11 weeks and she is just starting to interact with this she likes the rustle and squeak noises. The only thing is it has a bell that jingles all the time so if you have it on the car seat like we do it can be a bit annoying when you driving but its no big deal.
You just can not beat Eric Carle’s Very Hungry Caterpillar. Always a story in schools but has had a bit of a come back at home. I love this story, Something i was read at preschool. So just had to introduce into my baby’s world. Great for hanging on the cot, pram or car seat. Fun colours & touchy feely. Defo recomend
I bought this toy for my son and he loves it, it has loads of different touchy feely activities and keeps him entertained, it has a teether on the end and a hook to attach it to his pushchair, bouncer or cot. It is a beautiful classic design and links brilliantly with the hungry caterpilla book. I would recommend as it is such a great price.
