I bought this just to try, not having much hope of covering my thinning hair on top. However I was quite impressed with the difference it made. It seems to thicken the hair and give it volume, so it doesn’t show my scalp so much. I doubt it would work on a bald patch, but for my thinning hair it works brilliantly.

Works amazingly on thinning hair specially with hairspray, it won’t stick to bold areas, so not point on trying, but if you have bold spots as I do, this is an impressive alternative to shaving your hair.

I was always really skeptical when seeing these products advertised. Does it really work. For the price point of this product it was worth the punt. What a game changer! My hair recedes at the widows peak. I’ve always had it, but as I’ve gotten older my hair has got thinner and they’ve become more noticeable. I bought the black as my hair is black. Took a few goes to get right, with the right style and using additional wax and styling products. But once it was nailed, it looked phenomenal. Like going back 10 years. Huge confidence boost. Hair looks thicker and fuller. And it doesn’t look dyed. Or too fake like I’m using products or hair fillers. I’m well impressed.

Decent product – good fibres, does what it says it will do and is also water proof etc.
The colour for ‘Medium Brown’ is pretty light compared to alternatives I have used, that is the only issue but no issue at all with quality of product.

Like all hair products I was skeptical about hair fibers, although I found that when applied correctly they are a real confidence booster (it took a few times to get the knack of it as it can literallly go everywhere, be warned ). The thing about older is thinning hair can be unkind and unflattering, really denting the ego. This product has really made a difference to my self esteem and for that I give it five stars. I would caveat that it takes a bit of time to learn how to apply it best for your hairline, and hairspray is a must if you want to set and forget. I use first thing in the morning and wash out at night. I’m using the dark brown.

I was wary about purchasing this product but it does exactly what it says!
My hair is so thin and balding at the crown to where I don’t have much hair there.

This product covers the bald spots and makes hair look thicker and fuller!

I have always had thin hair but after a shocking visit to the barbers they made my thinning hair look so much worse, I was panicking abit but then I found this thought I’d give it a try, I was sceptical but after using it I’ve now calmed down, if your feeling down about your hair you need to get this

Thinning on the crown. Bought this and never looked back. An absolutely amazing product. Just get the right colour to match your hair. Dab or tap it on the area and immediate full hair on that area. A quick brush through and you’ll be amazed. Downside is it comes off on your pillow at the end of the night. Who cares. It’s brilliant!!!!

It did cover thinking patches and also my wide parting was disguised. A bit difficult to use on the back if your own head. Needs another person to get a good finish.

My son has a scar at the back of his head and we have used so many different products to cover it including colour spray, make up etc but nothing worked. I thought I would try Thick Fibre and the results were better than expected. The only downside is that it rubs off easily.

Put a couple of before and after photos on here, you can see the difference.
Works great for me with black hair. I’ve been able to have a nice short hair cut, I just powder in the product after styling.
Made me feel more confident.

I add hair spray to finish, just holds the fibres in and then it all just washes out easily in the evening

Does exactly the same as the more expensive brands for less money. I have used this brand for a year or so now and you really can’t tell the difference between the more well known brands. Does exactly what it says it does only if you have some hair for it to bind to. Use only on dry hair and don’t get it wet or style where applied after. Probably best to lightly pat the applied areas after a few sprinkles and then add a little more. Genuinely cannot tell you are affected by balding. Washes off easily with shampoo but makes a bit of a mess in your bath but washes away easy. If you sleep with it on can get a bit on your pillows.

Works really well. Gives the illusion of thicker hair. Hairspray seems to keep it in place and if you still have hair it can cling on to it does make your hair look fuller. The bottle lasts a while unless you use it everyday however can easily last 6 months if you use it about once a week. For the price it’s definitely worth giving it a go.

I bought this product as a trial to see what it was like. I found it difficult to choose a colour having never used it before. Luckily the colour was a perfect match.
You need to make sure your hair is clean and dry, I do put a small amount of hair product on first to style it. Then I spray this onto any hair where I am thinning. I use my hands to gently brush the fibre in if I need to. Washes off easily. I then put hair spray on to fix it in place. It covers really well and lasts all day. Just be careful not to mess with your hair as it can get on your hands clothes or forehead. I was laid on my partner and her shoulder was covered but it did wash off.

Due to history scarring alopecia I’ve tried a lot of different brands as well as sprays, wigs and NHS cosmetic concealer. This is the best I’ve ever tried. For me using it on slightly damp hair sprinkle on patch I want to cover spray light amount of L’Oral strong hold hairspray give it about 30 seconds -1 minute then lightly brush the area (trying to avoid brush scraping scalp or will get drag lines) then I move onto the next section. Brushing lightly helps reduce the clumpy feel and makes it look more natural and not as much transfer onto skin once dried. (Easy to clean off face) Sometimes I need to top up patches the next day (fidgety sleeper rubs off a little on pillow). It has been rain proof and sweat proof the main time I get transfer onto skin is if I scratch my head or rub my finger directly onto the product, It’s not transferred onto my clothes when getting changed. Alot of people are shocked to hear I have alopecia even my teenage son didn’t know until I explained what is in the container. Im starting my third container since first using in August, I use it everyday and have alot of areas to cover so you do get a decent amount in 1pack. This has been a miracle for me, I’ve let this affect my life since I was 4years old and being bullied, black hair with bright bald patches on top off my head has never been easy to disguise and adult women are worse than kids and men with the nasty comments. I highly recommend this. Before and after pics attached.

I’ve been buying Thick Fiber for a while now and have gradually learnt the best ways to use it.
It’s never going to cure baldness, and it’s not going to work if you’ve basically got no hair left. But if you’ve still got something to work with, maybe you’ve got a nest starting to show at the back or your hairline is receeding this does the trick perfectly.
My main take on this and reason for writing the review is because of the confidence this product gives. I was really self conscious about my hair and it got me down, and that meant I noticed when it looked thinner from day to day. Ever since using this my confidence has improved, my mental health has improved and even when I’ve washed my hair (it washes out really easily with shampoo) and I can see my bald spots again, I’m not actually that bothered by it because I know I can throw this on and not worry.
Light hold hairspray works best to keep it in and I tend to keep it in for 2 days at a time, it doesn’t tend to come out on my pillow or anything when I’m sleeping so no issues there.

All in all, it’s a great product, the bottle is a little small but I still just buy one a month and that lasts easily and I’m probably a little heavy handed with it sometimes haha.

Thought it would be obvious that this product was used but honestly it is not , you can see black to the scalp if you get really up close and look for it but no way passing by or in normal day to day situation this could be noticed, and if you only use lightly it does not get on the scalp anyway and you can’t tell at all, completely covers balding crown and thining hair line, gave me a lot of confidence, I use it with ‘got2b’ hair spray and it does not move , I’ve been rained on and a water park and it did not run down my face or anything like that, make sure to get the right colou

If your in a rush this is ideal to touch up that thin area of hair especially if your wanting to cover up a grey patch before colouring your hair when in a rush to go out this is ideal for that situation. It clings to your normal hair and washes out very easily but just be careful you dont get it in your eyes as that can be a big problem get someone to put it on for you if you have a partner, family member etc to help. Also if you have accidently cut your hair too thin and it shows its also great for patching it up till it grows back again. Its expensive but worth it in the long run.
