Lovely little drum, made for a very happy boy on his birthday!
My only disappointment would be the packaging, the label was stuck straight on to the box which made for a slightly ugly gift, Luckily children aren’t to bothered by that, but would have rather have had it kept clean and presentable
So many children’s musical toys are a bit naff and make annoying noises, but this drum is great! It makes really nice sounds when hit and our son enjoys banging it with the drumstick provided. A lovely classy toy!
Lovely durable little drum. Bold, bright colours. ‘Nice’ sound rather than too loud…
I have bought two of these now as gifts and both were very well received. Both have taken a good amount of play without any problems.
The drum stick has a large rubber end and is rounded at the other end to keep the little ones safe – it does get a good chewing as expected when giving to toddlers!
Only dropped a star as there isn’t much time variation between the three sections of the drum,m, two of them in particular, but on the whole a good buy!
My baby nephew loves his new drum! I love classic, high quality wooden toys and this is just that. Educational, fun, and looks lovely too. I’d definitely buy it again.
This light weight sturdy wood drum makes a deeper sound and changes frequency due to the design on top. It is a more tolerable sound then any plastic drums. Highly recommend if you dread buying your child a drum but know it is good for them!
I ordered this for my 7 month old granddaughter, who actually goes to organised music classes (!).
It’s a well-made and sturdy piece, perfect for a little one. However, I wouldn’t advise giving a young baby the drumstick, as their immediate instinct seems to be to put the ball end straight into their mouth, thereby causing the risk of choking. Instead, I gave her a plastic feeding spoon, with which she quite happily banged away. The sound (when using the drumstick) is clear and not at all unpleasant. All in all, a good buy.
