Tommee Tippee Sleeptight Portable Blackout Blind with Suction Cups, Adjustable and Lightweight, Large, 130 x 198cm
Preparation
If the blind has been stored away, suction cups can become flattened, so you may need to wash them before use. Use warm soapy water, rinse them off and pat them dry with a lint-free cloth. It’s also important to make sure the window is clean where the suction cups are going to attach.
Attaching
To enhance suction, lightly moisten the inner rim of the suction cups before attaching to your window. It’s best to start at an upper corner, gently pushing each cup until it forms a tight seal and doesn’t move. You can easily adjust the size of your blind as you go, using the Velcro patches.
Removal
To take your blind down, please don’t grab the material and pull, as this risks causing serious damage to the window glass and to your blind. Simply pull on the release tab of each individual suction cup and peel it back to let air in. This breaks the seal, allowing each cup to be easily removed.

Amazing
When they say black out, they mean it. I have used this for a few years now and in the summer when its still light at 10pm, put this up over the window and the bedroom is in total darkness, well worth buying.
Grea
Very easy to put up and I like that you can make it smaller to suit your window. Not 100% blackout due to it not being a perfect fit for the window, the folds allow the light in. However it’s definitely dark enough for my 7 month old.
Just perfec
It works and looks good. It may seem that the suction cups are unreliable, but that’s just a misconception. Just don’t forget to put a drop of liquid on them.

Very nice, no kight comes through. In my window, it lets some light in at he top, because the frame sticks out and there is a small space between the glass and the frame. But very nice, portable, and adaptable product, super recomended.
Excellent blackout blinds.
These are great. You can adjust the size of them using the Velcro around the edges to fit your window if you don’t require the full size .
Easy to install, adjust size if you need to, then just slightly dampen the suction pad to make it stick to the glass. Job done!
Summer and travel game change
This makes such a difference during summer time to keep baby sleeping longer in the morning and at nap time. Also great for travelling or sleep overs and not everyone has black outs
Ideal
Decided on this instead of buying a proper blind because frankly I CBA with drilling and fitting stuff unless I absolutely have to!
This works perfectly well, I had no problems at all with it falling off. Wet your finger and rub it on the suckers to make it stick properly.
My son likes it as it’s the same brand “Ollie the Owl” as his grow clock.
In a dark dark room
Helps the room stay dark regardless of the sun!
Such a great product. Really good at blocking the light out and keeping a room dark. Baby is sleeping through and it’s been a dream – it’s getting packed for all future holidays
Found it even helps with keeping some of the heat out of babies room when it’s so warm outside. Have heard of problems with leaving them up in the heat and trapping heat but haven’t found anything like that myself.
Goes up well. Our window doesn’t need the whole thing and so it’s folder up on itself. Really pleased!
Really great! No regrets!
We have three of these now and they have been pretty life-changing for us. We live in a flat where we aren’t allowed to drill any holes in the walls and so can’t put up any blackout curtains (which we are so used to now). We have been using them on our windows now for the last couple of months (using a removable pole high along the window sill to hang them up during the day). Thankfully they have held up well so far. One tip we have is to really press the suction cup very hard against the window. That seems to really do the trick.
Good but not great.
I have large window (130×155) so purchased the biggest size. The size is good.
I put the blackout blind 24 hours ago and it has stayed up perfectly since then. In fact it was quite fiddly to put up which is why I haven’t taken it down! Most of the suckers adhered to the window well, but there were a few that it took a long time you persuade them to stick.
It does not totally blackout the light. You can see some through the material, although not much. The biggest issue is the light getting in around the sides. This is because the suckers are too close to the edge, ideally they should be an inch in but they aren’t. If I could get them to stick on the uPVC frame that wouldn’t be so much of an issue but they won’t.
However it has helped us sleep so it’s not a terrible purchase. Could be better designed though.
If you want a darker room for your baby to sleep better, this is the best. Completely blackout light. Easy to use and with the suction cups, the ashesion is decent and doesn’t come off. Easy to remove as well and I move it around depending of the room my baby is going to be sleeping at.
Easy to put up & effective
Great for keeping the room dark so my baby doesn’t want to wake up as soon as light starts creeping through the window! Really easy to put up and great price.

Easy to put up and stick to the window. Looks good with the kids designs and then easy to store. Keeps the room nice and dark for little early risers.
Very Happy with Performance
To begin with I thought it was expensive but for the quality and performance and for what it achieves which is great sleep for a young one – it’s priceless.
This is the second blackout curtain I’ve bought and the performance is spot on for both of them.
It blocks out the light even during the day. Obviously this will depend on the size of the window you’re covering and where it’s possible to place the suction cups.
I’ve travelled with this several times and every time it works as expected and blocks out the majority of light. Its a very versatile product. And there’s velcro to help reduce the size depending on the window size you’re covering.

Great for bedroom window
I put this on my bedroom window with some other blankets and no more sun shining in my eyes! Love it! It blocks out about 90% of sunlight! Protects your eyes
Quite effective
The blind has stayed suctioned to the window very well (I was worried it might fall down in the middle of the night, but no issues with this!) I have found it hard to get it to fit right to the very edges of our window, so some light does creep through the sides which is annoying, but on the whole it does block light out very effectively.

We have 2 of these now and we absolutely love them! We don’t just use them for travelling but also around the house to make it even darker when baby is napping! Easily to apply to window and folds down into a neat bag! Really affective for the price.

I have 3 of these for my house and its amazing have used them in the middle of the day to create a movie time for me and my kids blocks out alot of light and helps kids sleep in through the summer too would definitely recommend these to anyone
I bought this portable blind to darken the room on holidays for my 9 months old baby that wakes up with the first ray of light. I’ve tried ir in different window sizes and worked find in all of them.
Pros: the suction cups work fine and there are plenty of them. It is pretty big but it can also be adjusted to the window by shortening it’s length and width with fastenings. It comes with a bag to put it away neatly. Lastly and most important it actually darkens the room a lot.
Cons: it’s very difficult to achieve 100% blackout in the room as there is always a bit of light coming from the edges by the window frame. It’s quite time consuming to adjust and attach it to the window, but worth it when going on holiday.
Overall, it’s a good blind for making a room dark on the go. However, if you are looking for an everyday solution to darken the room maybe a blackout curtain might be better as it can be time consuming fitting this blind on a daily basis.
Best thing I have ever bought!
I’ve bought numerous blackout blinds, and my little one kept waking recently at 430am. I put this up, he woke at 9am. The larger size fits my older house sized window too. Easy to put up and it’s definitely coming on holiday with us later in the year!
I have to write a review and say this is by far the best blackout blind I have ever bought. I have bought a few different ones each with different problems. I hate using tape to put them up and I was skeptical with this one but it is great. No light comes through only a little from the edges where there is no suction cup but this is actually good because the room isn’t pitch black and I don’t use a night light in my toddler’s bedroom. I wish I had discovered this one sooner. Could have saved time, money and effort. I love this and it can be taken away on holiday as well. Suction cups work really well as well. My previous blinds from other makes always fell off and the tape lost its stickiness after a while. And I had to measure and cut to fit before. Total pain. It fits my windows almost perfectly. Highly recommended!

I’m very happy with the Tommee Tippee blackout blind. It was a lifesaver on our holiday when we had to sleep in a bright room. The blind is very easy to use and it blocks out all the light. It also folds up very small and fits in our suitcase. I think it’s a great product for anyone who needs a dark room to sleep. I would definitely recommend it.
Ok, so I was very sceptical at first because of the mixed reviews I had seen online. But OMG! When they say blackout blind, they mean BLACKOUT BLIND! The pictures are with the curtains open and closed and I am shocked at how week they work my daughters bedroom is south facing so gets the sun at night and it’s always so bright, but this..WOW! Bit fiddly to get up on your own, takes a few licks for the suction cups to work too, but overall, I’m majorly impressed
Good for occasional use
Product is great for occasional use. Using it as a permanent solution was a bad idea as it caused a lot of condensation over the winter period which can lead to mould.
Blocks light, mosty
Can’t quite get the suction right with the awkwardness of our window panes, but it blocks out so much more light. My sister in law also has one and during the heat it did crack her window, we tend to have a window open under it and not a tight seal all the way round to prevent this
Works great - in hot, bright sun there is a whiff of plastic fumes
Good value for money, works very well. Suctions work fine on glass or smooth plastic. The only reason for 4 stars is that in hot, bright sun we smelt a whiff of plastic fumes. This was something we were concerned about before buying but didn’t really see much alternatives (at an affordable price). Luckily it was only on the hottest sunniest day.
Great purchase for summer months!
I bought this because my toddlers room is in direct sunlight during the summer months which can make bedtime a little tricky.
I didn’t want to put up permanent blackout blinds in her room as the natural light is helpful in waking her up in the mornings. However, during summer the sunlight can be very strong and start appearing in her room around 4am so I decided to try this product. It is great for temporarily dimming the light in her room and can be easily taken down when winter comes.
The suction is great and I’ve had no issues with it accidentally falling down in the middle of the night and waking her up!
I haven’t tried traveling with it but I’m sure it would be great. I would totally recommend this for anyone who wants to dim the harsh light and/or keep the summer heat out of the baby/toddler room.
Good suction, easy to make smalle
We have a window about 110 x 160 and this works perfectly, there are enough built in suction cups to make it fit most window sizes i would imagine. It also has velcro is different places to you can not only make the shade narrower but also shorter in height too which is great.
The bonus for me is 1) having the built in suction cups and not being able to lose them or if you change window take all the suction cups off and then start again before being able to ‘hang’ a curtain and 2) you get a bag so its perfect for holidays where you aren’t sure if the curtains are going to be up to the job.
It seems expensive but it really does do the job and you know its going to last a lifetime – we have tried many of the window clings which do a good job but look a bit hideous and are a pain in the bum if you want to uncover half the window during the day (and have an 8 panelled window), its gets a bit tedious but not disappointment with this, just unpop some suckers and let it hang.
We bought this as a cheap measure to block out the light that our blackout blind and curtains still let in to our little one’s room and it worked! I haven’t taken any pictures but it really darkens the room. Her sleep has definitely improved and it’s quicker to get her to sleep without waiting for the sun to set at night. The fabric is great, and the suction cups work really well (you have to make sure the window is clean and the cups are a little wet) despite us taking half the blind down and putting it back up up to three times a day.
The only negative I have that made me rate this 4 stars, is that I would prefer the fabric to extend a bit more past the suction cups to fit better around the window frames and the cups only stick to glass.
It's pretty good but...
Very pleased with the material and I had no problems with the suction cups, my only problem is the width it’s just not wide enough for my window. I bought the bigger size but had to stick it on the window on it’s side so I have a bit of a gap at the top its not a massive problem as it let’s some air though and I have a curtain, so yeah pretty good would recommend 4 stars.
