This thing is great! Crimps many sizes of connector, the grips are long so you can get some torque. However, you do need to be strong and steady to get a clean crimp. Experienced cable dressers will have no trouble.
Bon produit mais le sertissage n’est pas top, les mchoires ne sont pas bien en face l’une de l’autre, donc un pincement se forme au dessus et en dessous, il faut gratter la cosse pour ne pas se coupe
Its not what I would consider a heavy duty tool, however I don’t do massive amounts of crimping.
When I do use it it’s fine. Its just not good that quality tool feeling about it but it’s what you get for the price.
I do like that the dies are built in but I find that the lock holding the die allows the die to move about a bit when in a locked position.
Repaired battery cables on my vehicle and a couple other friends trucks. Also crimped lugs on new electric range cord. Worked great every time. Suggest you get some heat shrink tubing to cover crimped end of wiring. Neatens up connection.
