Fast and easy to connect to my Alexa dot. Have lots of these light bulbs in my home. Great for when hands are full or just as a security measure when not at home.

Tapo have really made great progress with their app and also these bulbs.. They were a doddle to set up being the easiest I’ve ever used… This is why I bought 2 sets… You can alter the brightness down to 1%.. that’s very low but some might use the bulb for a child’s bedroom.. recommended.

Easy to use with the Tapo app and a smart speaker. A good alternative to timer switches and standard lamps. Because they are in the light fixing in the house if one is away the light can be programmed as required and looks the same as the usual light.

This is a warm white bulb that can light up an entire room. It’s perfect since I set a schedule and it automatically turns on and off the lights.

Would recommend if you’re looking for a cheap smart light that works well

These are brilliant!! I don’t know why I haven’t got them sooner.. will definitely be looking to invest in the plugs for certain devices also!
Setting them up was so easy and connecting to my Alexa and was very easy too!
Definitely recommend.. my daughter is now with telling Alexa to turn the lights off

A great bulb- if you like using the Tapo app. As an apple user I find it slightly annoying that I can’t integrate this into my apple home system. At present I am using it for a single lamp, and it serves its purpose. As I consider my next lightbulb I may have to reconsider getting a Tapo bulb or a competitor that may offer better integration to apple home.

I really like the bulb, it’s bright and very easy to connect to Alexa. My main issue is with the fact that if you turn it off from the switch, it disconnects from the Alexa app as well, which is quite annoying to me, as my kids often play with the switches around the house. Otherwise I really think it’s a good purchase, even with the disconnecting issue.

This works great without having the need for a hub to connect to the router (e.g. Philips Hue) we have one in the living room which works great, however the one in the hallway has lost connection a number of times (connected to a mesh network) which it seems it has issues connecting to just to bear in mind. App and interface to program and setup timers is great. Overall would recommend (if your home network is solid)

Bought these as part of our home automation and they work great would definitely recommend them, I use other Tapo products so they fitted in very well with the rest of our gadgets.

Absolutely loves this bulbs, lovely warm light, extremely easy to set – just put / screw in, turn on and find on app. Few level of light intensity, possible to set up away mode and system will turn it on and off automatically , easy to control with app. These bulbs are just brilliant.

Just a brilliant lamp bulb! Installed this in our floor lamp as our ceiling light is too bright for all time use
(it is LED and you need to replace the whole thing, didn’t look that bright in the shop when we purchased it). Linked it to Alexa, programmable to whatever % of light to need! Just brilliant !

I was after a smart bulb for my porch to set up come on at dusk and switch off during the early hours – no more fumbling around to find keys in a bag in a dark porch for us! Does exactly what I needed it to do. Perfect.

Just screw into porch light, switch on and connect from app. Took 2 mins.

Great to be able to set a schedule to automatically switch on at dusk and switch off at a set time. If I’m coming home late I can use the app to switch it on so I’m not fumbling in the dark for the door lock.

I bought these for my mother whose eyesight isn’t great. So using Alexa to control them rather than her hunting for light switches made good sense. The installation was easy, connecting them to Alexa was a breeze and creating groups to batch control certain sections of her house was idiotproof (had to be if I could do it).
    Great product !

I bought these to use whilst away on holiday. One landing light and one bedroom light. I set up a routine to run each day that would replicate our normal pattern of going to bed. It worked . It did take a bit of effort to get it going. However, I did like the fact that I could turn them on and off using my phone from Greece at any time.

I’ve recently purchased these smart light bulbs, and I’m quite pleased with their performance. They offer great value for the price, and the convenience of controlling them through the app is fantastic. The integration with Alexa adds an extra layer of convenience to my smart home setup. However, one aspect to note is that these bulbs don’t offer color temperature adjustment. While they are versatile in terms of brightness and dimming, the absence of adjustable color temperature is a minor drawback. Overall, considering their affordability, ease of use, and compatibility with smart home systems, these smart light bulbs are a solid choice.

These bulbs work fine with alexa and are dimmable and easy to control. Longevity, don’t know yet, time will tell. Using a routine it has made sure we don’t leave lights on overnight by accident.

This is a great item for saving energy,Although I did find it fiddly to set, first down loading the app to my Iphone, and then transfering it over to Alexa and generating a new skill. It took abour a hour to set it all up,but having said that it all works perfetly and once you have mastered the set up to add anouther bulb its just plug it in give it a differant name such as hallway,or kitchen, and off you go.

These are just brilliant , works well with Alexa and has its own app if you dont have Alexa , with on and off function and brightness supported on both Alexa and app.

I like having the power to dim the bathroom light relaxing in the bath but having it bright to pluck eyebrows etc. I like having the power to switch on a light to deter burglars or welcome you home.
Lose energy saving status as needs to be left on even when not shining and being on wi-fi uses energy.
Mine are not used with Siri or Alexa, just mobile phone.

Work has they should barring one which insists on flickering on and off 3 times before connecting on its own but it is the furthest from router on 3rd level so may be that .

I’m not very techy, so the set up was a worry. Following the instructions was so easy, what a relief. They are neat not bulky. A good buy at a good price.

I have a few items in the Tapo range now they are easy to setup I use Alexa for control of my lights etc and very pleased with the light bulbs

I think these smart bulbs are excellent. I found them easy to set up and to work perfectly with Alexa voice commands. I particularly like that they are dimmable and you can ask Alexa to turn on the lamp to whatever level of brightness you desire, even right down to 1%, which I think would be about the right level to act as a nightlight.

Brought these to go with our echo show and to set as a routine as my family has a bad tendency to leave lights on all day so now they turn off and on automatically so saves wasting electricity

I set the first bulb up without any problems but the second bulb just did not want to connect after a lot of fiddling about managed to get it to connect although it did start switching it self on through the night at different times got that sorted too in the end but can’t explain why this would happen overall the both now work well .

These are perfect to use around the home, especially when away on holiday. We use one in our porch light, comes on at higher level of light until midnight when it drops down to just a nice glow. You can also have them to come on at dusk and then off at dawn. Have bought more since

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo I have two lights in my bedroom and Alexa needs them named differently…. or so I was led to believe by the setting up instructions. This was all very complicated (no not as simple as naming them light 1 and light 2) but it turns out I can switch them on by saying “Good Morning” which is odd as I only put the lights on in the evening! Anyway, it’s clearly a work in progress for me but ultimately I no longer have to get out of bed to turn the lights on or off Yay!

Took a few attempts to install at my parents and had to reinstall after a few days, I have used an other brand which was easier to install and didn’t have as many problems

The product functions as it is. The integration with Alexa is a bit of an issue as there is a lag between the connection and Alexa voice software goof ups the function. Manually it’s brilliant.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersThe bulb is good. But i found the if you want to use the wall switch (as well as the app) then you have to leave the bulb set to “on” in the app. If you switch the bulb to “off” in the app and then use the wall switch to turn light on, it will confuse the bulb and end up not working from switch or app. Then you have to reset/relink the bulb to the app which is a faff. So basically, i use the wall switch most of the time but use the app to turn light off when i am in bed – so i have to reset it back to “on” next morning, in the app, or next time i use the light switch it messes up. Faffy but ok once you know the problem.
