Bought some used tyres was unsure about thread depth using 20p technique, this little tool was perfect & reassured me the deepest threads were correctly on rear a is, nice touch came with a spare battery

I wanted to test by tread across several locations as I was approaching an MOT and I never allow wear down near the pass/fail limit. Really easy as you can do measurements with tyre in any alignment and just a little tyre revolution and you can look for flat spots.
Great value and fully does what it claims and easy to reset zero on any flat surface.

I bought this to check mine and my partner’s tyre pressure. Works fine! I did find the screen sometimes stays on after turning it off which will definitely drain the battery. It should also come with instructions but i figured it out after a few minutes.

Very accurate measurements and super simple to use and reset to 0.

Needed this as my tyres were getting low in tread depth and needed a cheap solution to measure. Very good for it’s price, no reason not to buy this one if you need a tread depth measurer.

Well, what can I say. Its compact, accurate and very handy to have. It does what you need. Its early days yet, but cant see any downsides so far. Nice product.

Good product does the job just remember to keep setting to “0.0” each time you want to check a tyre depth overall a good buy and seems to be built ok. Good value for money

Only took this item out of its box today, having bought it in October 2021.

It seemed it was “on” when I took it out of its packaging, there was no little plastic strip isolating the battery as I would expect.

There was a spare battery in the box and once I inserted it it worked fine.

The product is very easy to use and store due to its small size. The only downside I have noticed is that sometimes that device readings can vary ever so slightly but it’s great to get a very close idea on where your tyres are and when tested with my local garage it was extremely close to there so happy in that perspective

This is a fantastic little gadget to keep to keep track of your tyre depth and a great price. You can’t put a price on your safety while driving and this is a must have for all vehicle owners.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersOverall this is a convenient digital tyre tread depth gauge. To use you need to first zero the gauge by pressing it against a hard flat surface and pressing the zero button. You can then protrude the pin measuring device and press it against the tyre so the pin sits in the tread. Seems to do the trick, although you do need to zero it each time and it can be a bit sensitive. The only other niggle is that the on/off button is very sensitive and the tool sometimes turns on when you handle it. For the money though I can’t really grumble! It even comes with a spare button cell battery Display is not illuminated though so you might need to carry a torch!
