My phone screen had died, so it was a real problem trying to transfer data and reset it before sending it for recycling. This enabled me to get my phone screen up on my PC and solve the issue. Since then, I’ve been using it for the extra USB ports, and it works great. An absolute life-saver.
UGREEN has been around for quite a few years now and I’ve always found their products to be of great quality and above all work reliably.
This USB-C hub is no exception and does precisely what it says on the tin. Ideal for adding an HDMI port to a Mac or just providing more ports, this is good value and well made.
Small and compact fits in your laptop bag easily and can take the odd knock without issue.

My phone developed a broken screen and I needed a way to access the phone in order to back up the photos etc. This item allowed me to connect a TV screen and keyboard and mouse,. I was then able to back the phone up which I am so happy with!

I used this device with a MacBook that had only USB-C ports. I needed to connect an external monitor (HDMI), keyboard, mouse and other USB-A devices, and this item enabled that with no problems.
Was a bit concerned this wouldn’t work given some reviews, but happy to say it functions perfectly. Tested on a Surface Pro 8 (model 1983) running Windows 11. Plugged it into the USB-C port then plugged in an HDMI 27″ monitor and USB mouse/keyboard/headset and all works fine. Very pleased.
UGREEN USB C Hub Multiport Adapter HDMI Ultra Slim with 4 USB 3.0. Purchased in Mar22. Works fine with no real issues. Able to add several hardware products into the unit. Noticed a delay if plugging mouse / keyboard in and if left for a short period of time which may or may not be this unit. You simply need to wake the hardware / products up again, then once you start using / working again, all is good.
Used with external WiFi hardware / WD external drives (With and without powers); USB Mouse and Keyboard.
Happy with the purchase and would recommend and buy again.
Feels like a good quality adapter and good value for the money. Is working great with my work laptop.
Only gripe is that the HDMI port will only output 60hz at 1440p.
I saw some reviews that said the HDMI port either didn’t work or was tenpermental, in my instance, it works perfectly, as does the 4 USB-A ports. Only draw back is that there isn’t any USB-C ports, but the value for money is superb.
It works straight out of the packaging, although I’m unable to use the HDMI port as it doesn’t appear to be supported with my HP Pavillion laptop (there was a warning this might be the case) so if you’re buying it to use additional screens check compatibility first. I bought it specifically for the extra USB ports and not disappointed, very fast transfer rates even when multiple ports in use simultaneously
