Boxed and with instructions this is a very handy device, great for travel in most of the EU as it gives a total of four USB outputs as well as a standard UK socket. The adapter is well made and has UKCA and CE approvals. It fits E and F type sockets and will fit the sockets found in France, and on the cross channel ferries, which have a metal Earth pin, as well as the type of sockets found in Spain which have metal side springs for the Earth. When plugged in the adapter has a discreet blue “on” LED. The USB outputs are standard 5V. The unit doesn’t come with a travel bag, so useful for storing the cables, which is a pity, but otherwise it is an essential travel accessory.
