The main thing with these mobile phone pouches is that they can let the water in. This design comes with claims, and fortunately they seem, so far, to be accurate. Before I ever put my phone in one of these, they undergo rigorous tests with tissue paper to measure whether any water gets in. Tissue paper I have found to be a good measure for moisture, as it easily gets destroyed by water seepage. I haven’t completed my tests in a pool on vacation as yet, but I will say that whilst fully submersed in water for a considerable period of time, the tissue paper remains dry and in tact, and whilst I would never take my phone in the sea or submerge it in a pool, accidents do happen and i feel confident following my tests that these holders would keep a phone dry whilst using it by the pool, on a boat or if dropped by mistake into the river. The design is really neat, it effectively clamps the top together to prevent water intake, and i was very impressed with the outcome of the design. I think this is probably the best of its type I have had, so given the choice of several in my cupboard, this is the one i would pick for use on my kayak, by the pool or going round waterfalls, on theme parks etc.
I love these cases! Best money I ever spent! I bought these for our holiday to Florida as I knew we had a pool in the villa and wow they were amazing!! They did not leak! Super easy to use and I could still use my phone when in the case. I managed to get some great photos and videos in the pool with my family but also at the water park too. My family also loved using these! xx
I was going on holiday with my children and didn’t want my phone left by the pool whilst I was swimming with them. I was nervous using, even though I tested them as advised first. These worked brilliantly- no leaking, phone was kept safe and I managed to take some fantastic videos and photos in the pool and water park. The strap round the neck is a little annoying and buttons can be difficult to press on phone, through the case, but that is to be expected.
Watxh my vodeo : I use this for all trial runs, walks, races, and all sport activities to keep my phone safe, protect, clean, scratch free and damage free. Amazing product.
Used this a few times in the pool and in the sea. Kept my OnePlus 11 perfectly dry.
Image quality during video recording though the case was surprisingly good. Using the touch screen also worked fine. I was also surprised that audio pickup through the case was reasonably clear.
The only issue is the strap felt a bit flimsy so didn’t trust it.
I purchased them some time ago but hadn’t used them until recently. I felt nervous ‘giving them a go’ but need not have worried because they did the job well. Pictures taken, it’s watertight and my phone was unharmed.
Bought these for a recent holiday, used with an iphone SE which was a lot smaller than the case. No issues, seal seemed to be good and touch worked fine.
Bought these for a kayaking trip with my partner. When they came we tested them in a bowl of water like instructed and we were amazed that they didnt leak. You can fully submerge your phone in water without damaging your device. It gave me peice of mind while I was on the water. You can still use your phone while its in the sleeve. My partner also used it after while attatched to his bike in the rai
Great item bought to use in the sea on holiday. They are waterproof and you can see clearly under the water. Due to the pressure of the water on the phone screen you can’t press the screen under the water but you can use the volume button to take photos and you can start recording a video before you go under so there are ways around it. Overall it has done what I wanted it for and would recommend to anyone.
This definitely worked as a waterproof cover and the touch was good, out and above, the water but under water I couldn’t get it to work e.g. take videos, take photos
Works perfect, I never took it fully in the water but I did test it beforehand with a tissue inside and submerging it in the sink. Gave real peace of mind on rainy days, splashy boat trips, watery theme park rides, also it’s the perfect size for 2 passports to keep them safe from spills etc while travelling
You always worry when trusting a product like this. Is it truly waterproof? Will it wreck my phone?
Well I can report I used it with my Samsung Galaxy, great fit, easy to use, even under water and yes it was waterproof. I used it whilst snorkelling and also on a 7m scuba dive and the phone came out bone dry.
As you get two, I reckon good value for a product that works
I liked the sturdiness of the clips that you fasten to ensure your phone is totally waterproof. I wasn’t expecting such good quality, especially with the price being for a 2 pack. The lanyards were equally as good quality and would not easily break or come loose from the case and were adjustable, which is great. I used one case for an iPhone 13 and the other for an iPhone 12 Pro Max and both fit in the cases well. Any phone bigger than an iPhone 12 Pro Max (if there are any with different brands) would probably not fit with ease. You are also still able to use touch screen with the phone in the case, as well as facial recognition, which means you still have full use of your phone. A really great product that I would definitely recommend, not just for keeping your phone dry, but also can be used for different activities to help keep dirt, dust and sand away from your phone. Would also be really good for music gigs/ festivals etc.
I took my phone in the bluelagoon with this. I had to remove the phone case. While the phone was inside there was no water leak at all. Very impressive. Did have a bit of a hard time to use the phone aa there was water on the the bag and my touch was not able to understand properly. So I had ti take it out to use the phone easily. But my friend didn’t have an issue. Recommend the product. Works as it says
I used this to take pictures in the Dead Sea and it didn’t leak, even when I submerged it. I tested it out with kitchen paper in first, before I used it in real life. Worked really well. It didn’t always touch screen but it was good enough for what I wanted it for.
I am so glad I purchased these! I was a bit skeptical at first and did my best to not let then in the water, but being flipped out of a ring on a raft ride I needn’t have worried.
Managed to store my phone, park passes and money all safely and nothing got wet or damaged!
Product worked really well for the first 3 months using weekly
However after my last use had a warning on my phone that moisture was present in the charge plug. Having looked at the case the seam has split.
Used with an iPhone 12. Just returned from holiday and can confirm it didn’t leak (I only used one out of the 2 cases supplied). The positive is that it’s easy to use (just make sure to firmly close the clips as it’s possible to not realise you haven’t closed them). The touch screen works fine through the plastic, can’t remember if facial recognition worked, possibly not. Good clear video recorded.
Only 2 negatives: I found the video button needed to be pressed before entering the water, and it would easily turn itself off when entering the water. The way around this was to try and not let the plastic be in direct contact with the screen when entering the water – it was ok once in. The other negative is that on one occasion I left my phone in its usual case/holder before putting in the bag and for some reason the bag then misted up and was never quite the same after – possibly there had been moisture in the phone case which stayed in the bag. Didn’t seem to overly affect picture quality.Just be warned to please your phone in the bag completely dry and without a case.
I run, and every time I do, I hate wiping the sweat off the phone as I run wearing the shorts that have a phone pocket. I bought this for my running and I have had it for a while, so I can say, it super surely does the job for me. Going to Thailand and will snorkel there in a month’s time, will update this review to say bad things if they happen. If you’re seeing this review after mid Oct 2022 then know that this works well under water too.
So first off, I tested these with tissue paper inserted and left under water for fours hours!!! The tissue was completely dry!!
I have now tested these round my neck kayaking in huge waves, getting thrown off the boat, dragged along the sea bed multiple times and all is well.
I am super impressed with them, highly recommend and it’s nice to buy something that works as it should. WELL DONE TO THE TEAM!!
I also find the phone easy to use through the pouch and the photos are coming out about 90% as good as without the case. I’m happy with that.
Delivered within Prime times. Packaging not excessive. I have used them once in rain. They are doing the job. They come with a 3 year warranty, providing you have registered online, you will need your order number to register the warranty. With them being new I am not sure how long they will / how durable they are. Lanyards are provided, but they are not quick release. Phone works great through the plastic. I have a Samsung Glaxay S9 and had to remove the protective flip case to fit phone into pouch. Downside I jave found, whilst using GPS, if you are on a long walk and want to use an external battery, this will not fit in the same pouch.
This pair of waterproof cases were much better quality than I had expected, I purchased them to keep my phone in whilst sailing, this meant that I had the security of staying in touch if anything went wrong and also being able to take photos and video of my time on the water, the phone works from inside the bag so no need to take it out to take photos or video, i didn’t make any calls but assume it would make and receive calls from inside the bag. my only niggle is that the neck strap is made from a shiny ribbon material so 5 minutes after shortening the strap it has slipped all the way down to the bottom again and is dangling to low, swinging about and getting in the way, for that reason I know it is waterproof as the case was dangling in the water and my phone still works.
At the moment we are using these for supermarket trips when using a shopping list on my phone to avoid touching my phone directly. Once we are home, we can simply wash the whole case with soap and water and then remove the phone. It’s perfectly waterproof and feels sturdy. I’ve subtracted a star simply because the adjustment on the neck strap slips. So if you make the strap shorter, as you walk it slowly lengthens back to the maximum length which is very annoying. We have tied it now as a solution to this but it would have been nice if this would have functioned. On the other hand, the neck strap is very soft (which is probably why it slips) but it also means that it’s quite soft on the back of the neck which is nice. It’s also a little bit difficult to get your phone screen to respond through this case but I think this is to be expected.
These were bought for a trip to Orlando, specifically DiscoveryCove. I carried out the test as instructed and put a tissue in the case before submerging it. I couldn’t find anything heavy enough to force it to stay at the bottom but I pulled it through the water swishing it back and fore like it would be if I was swimming or taking photos under the surface. I did this for a good 10 mins before leaving it floating in the sink for another half hour. The tissue was perfectly dry at the end! Absolutely fantastic but I think there would still be some nerves when it is a phone worth hundreds of pounds that is in it. On a dry run, I could access the phone keypad etc so I am hopeful I will get some decent underwater photos. Update: was brave enough to put my phone in while using the lazy river and reef snorkelling and they were great. Using advice from other reviews, I used the side button to activate the camera and I had no issues actually taking photos.
