Very useful on train journeys. Bought it for my daughters 6th birthday and she hasn’t put it down. She loves writing and drawing anyway but this means we don’t go through reams of paper! Will be getting another for her brother.
This doodle board is fun and provides children with an alternative to electronic devices for a bit of creative fun in a similar fashion.
You can doodle, draw or write and swipe it all away at the touch of a button. There is a stylus pen included that clips into the back side of the device for safe keeping.
The unicorn theme adds a bit of a fun touch.
This is an engaging, animal shaped, LCD tablet that is battery powered. You can use the stylus provided to draw or write in rainbow coloured marks. It is a decent size and can be used in landscape or portrait mode. The battery is preinstalled and you can use it straight from the box. It came in a slim colourful and child friendly box. The tablet board is well constructed and resilient. It has held up to lots of children using it daily. You can also write on this using the back of a pen or a fingernail which is helpful.
The tablet has a lock switch which allows you to make sure that your drawing/writing doesn’t accidentally get erased. When you have it set to unlock you can quickly delete and restart with one press of a button – this is cute as it uses the animal’s features on their face.
The stylus can be attached via a slim elastic loop and stylus shaped slot in the tablet. I like that the space is shaped and integrated so it isn’t easy for children to damage. This is a bonus as it keeps the stylus safe.
I love these tablets and find them so useful with younger children to enthuse and engage them in mark making and to be able to be sustainable in our writing material.
I would definitely recommend this LCD tablet.
My daughter loves unicorns and this was a great gift for her. It is a very modern writing pad which uses LCD to allow you to draw what every you like with the included stylus or hard object. Very simple to use. You can then press of the button and it disappears and you can start again and make another drawing. If you want to keep it you can flick the switch. A cute light weight design. Easy to use. Great for kids.

These writing tablets are great- we use them a lot for sketching as well as home learning and writing letters/numbers. It comes with a “pencil” that works on the screen and also comes installed with a battery. The writing on it is clear and it can be removed with a click of a button, or you can also “lock” the screen which saves the writing on it. Great value and would make a nice party present. It is a really cute tablet with a lovely unicorn design. It is much more attractive than the plain ones and the screen is a really good size.
Good size LCD drawing tablet. Great way to keep kids entertained as well as getting them to do writting in a fun way for them.

Very lightweight which is perfect for small hands, but does make me wonder about long term sturdiness?
Has a pocket at the bottom for its pen (space pen provided also). If for any reason you loose both pens, it does still work using the tip of your finger/nail.
Has a multicolour look to the drawing/writings on the screen.
Can have the device set on lock (you won’t loose the work that is draw so far), which is great for if your child is doing a bit of a project/large piece on it. Or unlock so that when you click the button at the top, it deletes everything and you can start again with a clear screen.
The screen space is perfectly fine for younger children but would probably be too small for older children. It’s a little bit smaller than a iPad.
Priced at 16 does feel a little pricey when there is a lot of competition for this type of item on the market.
Overall do think it’s a great gift for younger children and would be happy to recommend.
