Can’t say much more. It worked as I expected. It’s holding up a fairly heavy laptop with no real issues and the mechanism can be made looser or tighter if needed. Simple but effective design.

Bought this for my other half as she uses her laptop on the dining room table for work. Her laptop actually has a detachable keyboard, which meant it wasn’t going to work with this stand until I realised you could tilt the plate up to such an angle that it would hold the screen portion of her laptop like a monitor. In this way it works perfectly! The screen is now at a much more useable height so she’s not looking down at her laptop. I also bought a wireless keyboard and mouse to use in conjunction with this, which completes the ensemble.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stable, well made and great colou

I bought a block one of these while back, but it didn’t work for me at the time so gave it to my partner for her 14″ detachable screen work laptop to use when working form home, she loves, it.
I nicked it back, so I bought her the pink one, she loves that too. I have another stand to my laptop because of neck and spine issues, and having to wear a neck brace often, and I still need to look at the keyboard most of the even now, so needed to said it up, that worked, but needed a backlit one to see it batter in the dull room when you can look down very well.
It is quite steady, it doesn’t bounce about when I am typing so has a secondary use if you need it as do.

Stops me getting a sore neck after a day of work. I have a laptop which will flip round 360 degrees, so I use it flipped around, allowing the screen to be in line with my monitor.

With working from home, I tend to work from my local gym, hence put this in my gym bag. It’s around 2 inches in width when folded, but absolutely fine to carry around. It helps with my posture and is a great buy.

Comes ready to use, and there’s no bolts to undo in order to use, you just it pull into the position/height you need. We’ve got a slightly bigger laptop on it than it recommendeds but it’s still very sturdy. Really impressed, should have bought it years ago. Thoroughly recommend.

This product arrived folded around the size of an A4 paper sheet.
It is lightweight and due to the alloy it is made of, it is easy to carry.
To set it up, I simply unfolded it, and put it on my desk. It held my laptop securely and you can adjust the angle.
I would recommend this product to anyone who is working with a laptop and needs both the adjustable angle and height to assist with keeping their neck straight rather than stooping.

I did quite a bit of research to find a sturdy and durable stand for my Macbook air, even though it’s quite lightweight! I read the reviews and decided to give it a try.
From day one this stand has been amazing! Very sturdy and ergonomic. I use a Bluetooth keyboard and it fits so neatly underneath leaving my desk nice and tidy. Even when I write on my notebook and move around some books, the laptop stays very still.
It really is an absolute gem!

My job involves travelling to several sites, often grabbing a workspace where I can. I purchased this to avoid hunching over a laptop and the ensuing neck and shoulder ache.

So far I’ve been really impressed with the product. It folds down nicely and fits in a standard bag and is reasonably stable. Can be a bit wobbly if it’s extended fully but I guess that’s just a trade off with the base being so compact.

Quality is excellent and the design keeps the laptop securely in place. Great value for money so would definitely recommend.

I bought this product for my DJ sets. I needed something that was sleek and solid enough for me to be able to play in a busy environment and not take up loads of room. It’s arrived well packaged and actually folds down pretty flat when you need to pack it away. The other good thing about this is that the angles and the height can all be adjusted really easily and you can find the perfect position i.e. to avoid glare on the screen. I was really impressed with the quality it feels really strong and sturdy and I would definitely recommend this product to others.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid and sleek

This laptop stand is so helpful. Working from home has become the new norm and this stand has been really helpful. It allows my computer to “breath” and run smoothly as well as allowing to position the laptop in a great angle when having zoom meetings.

    Ideal, 100% recommended!

Disappointed that this stand holder is quite flimsy it bounces when typing on my laptop so very distracting?

I have another stand at home but its not Ergonomic but I must say I prefer it. Thought I would purchase this for a change but its not as sturdy as I was expecting.

Love this laptop stand for its sturdiness and attractive design, but it really is not that portable – it’s quite bulky and would scratch other things in your bag, so would need a case. It doesn’t compact down very small and takes up a lot of room in the bag. I am keeping it for home use only but seeking another one for portability.

Finally bit the bullet and decided to invest in some better ‘working from home’ kit. This replaced a more bulky laptop stand from work, a plastic box with supports on each corner really, and it wasn’t height adjustable. I decided on this one as I needed a slimline stand (have ordered a new desk that isn’t particularly deep or wide to fit into an particular space in the house), and I also wanted the screen to be higher and, well, adjustable.

    Anyway:
Pro’s are: the height is very adjustable; it doesn’t take up alot of worktop space; very sturdy; has ventilation gaps; has some non-slip strips to keep the laptop in place.
Cons: all your cables are on show, not the stands fault but it might be a consideration for some, the good thing with the old plastic box stand that I have was that I could tuck all the cables in underneath. It was still a mess but a contained mess!

I love this laptop but the only problem is that the screws come a little loose when you’re moving it a little, like when I shut my laptop at night and then open it in the morning

It’s easily fixable with a little wrench but it’s definitely a little annoying

I still think it does what it claims to do

I wasn’t expecting much from this and purchased it mainly because it was one of the cheapest stands available. However I was very pleasantly surprised and this stand is really excellent. It is extremely sturdy and once you adjust it to the height and slant you want, as it’s made of very sturdy metal it locks in place so won’t move when you put normal pressure on the laptop keyboard when typing, etc. It can be manoeuvred very high and much higher than another Kensington stand I’ve got. Absolute bargain and can’t recommend enough. Also the foot space of the stand quite small so won’t take up much valuable desk space and you can store any additional keyboard /mouse you may use under it which is very neat. Can’t recommend enough and super bargain at price.

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersThey say the simple things in life can give the greatest pleasure. How true that is with this device. Oh my goodness.! I have not been so happy for a long time. This device has seriously made my working life so much better. I work in a hospital and have to visit different departments. Well I take this device with me in a back pack with the laptop and other items. I was immediately aware of not hunching over the laptop / desks / work tops. I am able to keep my head up and relieve any added stress from my neck and shoulders. As someone who suffers from neck and back issues I have found this device invaluable. Most of my colleagues now want one and those that should know have stated that it is the best one (lap top riser) they have seen.
It can be a little shaky at its fullest height. But this can be resolved / improved with a lighter touch. This does not put me off. I am 5′ 4″ and find that this device sits on top of surfaces and enables me to stand comfortably and work from it. As long as the surface is not higher than chest height. But I would avoid surfaces that height if I was standing anyway.
A great device. Lightweight / mobile / easily adjustable.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersI bought this in a lightning sale for 12 Euro, and I’m glad I didn’t pay more. The RRP is 46 Euro and it’s currently on discount for 24 Euro, which I feel is overpriced.
This stand is functional and does the job adequately. It will hold your laptop in a rock-steady position as long as you are using an external keyboard, but it feels like a cheap product. It’s also stiff to adjust, but that’s probably not a bad thing.
Pro: Rock-steady, functionally adequate, good price at lightning sale
Con: Overpriced at RRP, or even discount
Overall five stars, because of the lightning sale price.
Four stars for ease of use, and five stars for sturdiness and stability.

If you have the cash I recommend this instead:

It’s expensive, but it’s top quality and a really good design.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOverall I’m very happy with this! I like the way it looks and it works well with my both a tablet and a laptop. My only complaint is that it’s still a bit low for my eyeline even at full extension so I have had to put a few books underneath but otherwise it’s great. Much more compact and stylish than the other stands I saw on the market.

I do really like my laptop stand and it has been a huge life saver in helping my laptop stay eye level with my monitor. The reason this is not a 5 star is because while it does clear up some desk space, the stand is still kinda in the way and I had to switch my set up to have my laptop/the stand on the left so I could have more room to move my mouse around without hitting it.
    Aside from that it’s great.

My work laptop is pretty small and was hurting my neck as a result of staring down at it all day so I needed a laptop stand. I looked at about 5 different options before I settled on this one because it had such reviews. I have not been disappointed. It has significantly helped my neck and also allows for a better angle when I’m on work calls. It is also pretty compact so doesn’t take up much space on my desk.
The only negative point I can give is that it is a little stiff when you try and adjust it but this isn’t a problem as I have it set in one place.

I have bought two fo these one for a 14″ laptop, HP, sits well.

Other for 15.6″ mobile workstation, this one sits ok but the balance is slightly off, a deeper tray area would be preferable but all in all it is ok, the adjustability is good and it seem durable in both instances, the fact i bought one then the other suggests i am happy with these

Looking for a riser to avoid RSI after 4 months of working from home! I chose this specific riser as the base is flat and does not obstruct the desk. This means on a narrow desk I can have my laptop screen at eye height and still comfortably use a keyboard and mouse. The unit itself is tough, actually quite difficult to adjust because it is rather stiff. (So I need to remove the laptop before adjusting it) In terms of value for money – it is a little expensive for what it is (two pieces of metal bolted together) but it is finished nicely and works as expected so cannot complain really!

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersThis stand feels sturdy and looks great.

With other more traditional stands it can be hard to find one that is tall enough. The fact this has two hinges means you have much better control over the angle and height of the screen.

The only issue I have noticed which hasn’t happened with other stands is that it tends to wiggle while I type on my bluetooth keyboard. It’s as if the hinges pick up every tiny vibration which causes it to bounce ever so slightly.

At first, I found this quite disorientating and I considered returning it but have since got used to it and don’t notice it anymore.

Golden Review Award: 34 From Our UsersI’m using this with a DELL XPS 15 7590.

The cut outs for cooling align well enough. The overall stand is nice and broadly matches the sandblasted aluminium finish of the DELL.

However, the base plate was warped on receipt, hence it wobbled. I was able to correct this with about of manipulation as aluminium is soft.

Also, it doesn’t shield against table shock from the keyboard very well when tightened fully using a socket wrench. I may try loosening it off a hair to see if that gives it sufficient play to absorb the vibration.
