I would not recommend if you are wanting to hear no noise at all as some sound can still be heard very faintly.
As someone with autism and sound sensitivity, I highly recommend buying.
Got these to block out the noise of the washing machine and vacuum while I’m cleaning, they work really well but they do start to hurt after a short duration.
I ordered these because they look comfortable and different to what my factory (work place) buy for employees. I wanted a different design which is why I ordered these at the end of last year. I would reecomend the brand to my work colleagues.
Excellent. Bought to go to a rather loud car meet. Did a very good job at keeping the noise to an acceptable level. Versitile too: renders kids temper tantrums practically mute . They fold nicely. They are quite wide and bulky but I suppose that just allows more space for noise cancelling. True to ccolour.a little tight when they first arrived, but I stretched them over an ice cream carton for a day or so and then fit perfectly.
The instructions recommend that you do not wear anything (such as some glasses) that breaks the ear seal. I used these with an eye protection mask that has a thin elastic strap which I placed above my ears.
Light and comfortable Ear Defenders which do what they’re designed to do. I use them for shooting and find them as good as some of the more expensive products on the market.
With these I can still hear people talking to me but everything else is blocked out.
The only downside to these ear phones head band are a bit tight, however I guess this helps to keep out noise.
The ear pads fit comfortably over my ears, it seems to stop any sweaty ears if worn for a long time.
They are also a great tool if used at university in a busy library, they block out any background noise and allow you to consontrate with ease.
These do a good job of blocking out unwanted noise, or at least lowering it to a point where it’s not so distracting. I can only assume it works as promises as I have no way to confirm the effectiveness. It works well enough for me though. A minor issue is that they arrived slightly damaged. It looks like that occurred after moulding, and they were taken out while still too warm. Doesn’t affect the sound blocking ability though.
These are great value, light weight, extendable and smart looking. Oh and of course, they work superbly. They are used when operating our almost antique cricket square roller which is as well as shaking you to death is also doing its very best to deafen you in the process. Happily all 5 or 6 volunteer drivers (each with different sized heads) report that it is the best bit of equipment the cricket club has purchased in 20 years and are genuinely excited that they can hear all insults traded after their 30 minute rolling stint. (Unfortunately, after their 30 minutes operating the roller they still jerk around as if they are connected to a mains electricity supply but I have to say, their hand to eye co-ordination is significantly better at the moment they dismount off the roller than when they are batting in a match).
Thoroughly recommended to any prospective purchaser and I wish I had them 20 years ago when I first started using the smoke belching, fire breathing, teeth shaking, sight blurring, joint dislocating and ear drum assaulting 2 ton iron absurdity – because at least I wouldn’t be partially deaf.
