This cleaner did the job really well. The carpet in our new house looked clean, until we used this then we realised how dirty it was. It has done a brilliant job of cleaning two bedroom carpets so far.
I don’t know whether it’s actually the vax carpet cleaner that really does the job ie any cleaner would work. But if that isn’t the case, this cleaner is great! it made a fab job of my daughter’s light cream carpet and removed many many stains!
We have shampooed our carpets with this for years. there is a reasonably pleasant smell whilst using it and for some little time afterward but its not overwhelming and doesn’t hang about like some we’ve used. We have a few dogs, so you can guess they do tend to bring in a certain amount of mess so using this Vax shampoo is a reasonably regular occurrence and we have stayed with the VAX so we are happy with it. Instructions easy to follow and when used in VAX spot cleaner it cleaned a patch on grey carpet where strawberry milk was spilt. It did the job but not much orange scent could be smelt. This was not an issue as cleaning the carpet of the spill was priority which was done well. Very pleased with result.
