I used this little chopper today to make some home made coleslaw and it came out excellent. Chopped the veg easily, felt nice to use and obviously nice and sharp cutters. Couldn’t ask for more. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a simple little chopper, nothing fancy, just does what it says, and does it well.
I have used both 5mm and 10mm blade sections to chop veg and it works. For an onion, I cut it into quarters. It did struggle with uncooked carrots and that led me to my worry – how long will it be before the lid/hinges break.
It is made of plastic, and although sturdy-ish, it really could have been made stronger. I have had to push down on the lid with some force a few times in order to complete the cut, and I wonder when the hinges are going to give.
So far though, I think it’s a great thing to have. From tuna-onion mix to chopping veg for spagbol
We brought this a while back and don’t use it all the time because it’s a bit of a pain to clean the blades fully. But when you are in a hurry it’s super quick and easy you use.
One thing though it you have to be very carefull with the slicer at the top it is very very sharp. I sliced my finger because the potatoe dosnt fit in the holder they give with the product.
Overall would definitely recommend this product.
It does what it says on the box. The only down side is you can not put the parts in the dishwasher which would be easier and safer to clean it.
Also it’s lethal. Sliced my finger open using it, so definitely not for children unless supervised at all times.
Great kitchen helper. Dices food really easily and saves an awful lot of time. Especially great for chopping onions. Sadly I think it’s over priced and is quite difficult to clean as the blades are sharp and it’s awkward to get into the corners.
clean it out..don’t do what I done and used my thumb, I’m now the proud owner of 2 plasters..those blades are RAZOR SHARP (DO NOT TOUCH THE STEEL GRID) Apart from that I’m happy with my purchase.
Saves alot of time but I find the grey chopping part comes off the see-through tub abit to easy and you’ve got to hold it all firmly together when lifting the press arm back up.
