I have for some time used Veiled mops however this (new to me) mop surprised in how well it cleaned the wood floors in my house. Well worth the five star rating across the board
Ours is a busy kitchen with 3 people doing cooking most days it can get quite mucky. This mop handles it all with ease. In many cases it is possible to just use plain water to clean up which is good. It is used in the downstairs loo which also has an instant shower in same area. The main bathroom is upstairs and have found that with the mop you can use it to clean round the bath with ease and no bending a sparkling clean bath without detergent.
I’ve been faffing about buying alternative mops for cleaning my floors – one was a store brand spin mop that was more effort than it was worth, and another was a cotton mop that disintegrated with every use. Back to basics, and this mop does what it’s supposed to – CLEAN!
After using a string mop on my stone kitchen floor which seemed hard work. The Vileda SuperMocio easily moved over the floor and was very efficient. Made mopping almost a pleasure.
The instructions don’t mention it, but the grey plastic parts at the end of each handle section expand as they’re screwed on, which is what holds them together tightly. People are likely slotting them together with those parts only slightly screwed on, giving it a loose fit. If you screw them on slightly, slot together, and then twist to tighten, they stay together no problem at all!
Also no idea why people are saying it’s far too short. I’m 5′ 11″ and I don’t feel that it’s really that short at all! It could definitely do with being a little longer, but not to the point where I’m hunched over using it like some people are making it seem. Definitely worth buying imo!
Update:
I’ve been using it for a couple of months so far and it’s still working absolutely fine!
The only downside I’ve found with it is that the little red dots which are supposed to help pick up hairs, fluff, etc don’t really work at all. Not a huge dealbreaker, just a slight disappointment.
I know there are fancier mops on the market, some of which I’ve tried, but tend to come back to these. They work well! They get in corners and under things, and the little scrubby bit on the mop head is very useful. The handle is telescopic so is a) easy to store and b) great if you are taller (or shorter) than average.
My old Vileda Supermocio broke and so I purchased this as a replacement. Its okay but definitely not the same quality as my old mop, the handle is a couple of pipes that screw together and feels flimsy, I am only short but it doesn’t feel long enough. Its okay and will do until I can find a better sturdier mop.

This mop will last you longer than any of these cheap mops you can buy out there, plus with 2 of them which justified the price. You can even wash the mop head in the washing machine. I’ve used it 5 time and this is still not necessary.I would advice getting the the vileda bucket that rings it out but its not essential. Floors dry within 10 minutes using it but a normal bucket with mop ring attachment will do just aswell.
Great mop for easy storage, great absorbency , some mops leave my slate floor very wet, the only snag with this one is that the mop handle is not as long as the other vileda mops I have had in the pas
