I bought this for my son’s 12th birthday as he’s a Nintendo fan and also likes board games that don’t take ages to set up or to finish (I’m looking at you, Monopoly!). Both he and his 9 year old brother have got a lot of enjoyment out of it and it’s one of the few games they can get me to play without me wishing the ground would swallow me up.
Knowledge of Mario characters is obviously useful but my boys also found it hilarious playing with their Nan, who had absolutely no idea how to answer the questions they asked or what to ask. You wouldn’t need extensive knowledge to be able to play but if you are playing against a super nerd it might be trickier.
All in all, one of the best games I’ve bought my kids. Definitely recommended.
This is a fun game for those who know the franchise (as you can ask off the wall questions like, was this person in Age of Ultron) and for those that don’t know the franchise… its guess who! Ask about what you see! Great game
