3 m x 5 m. Bit of a handful to put up. Seems strong. As soon as it went up. Big rainstorm. It sags/ stretch’s, as it fills. But not a problem. Seams Tripled for strength. Needed a broom to assist emptying. Fitting steep would help ( I had restrictions) but drys out fine. More waterproof than I expected
Next was the Wind . But no problem. As I said. Strong !
Purchased the recommended fitting kit. With Turnbuckles. Which some unwound in wind
I bought this when the weather was extremely hot, I have no shade in my garden at all. I placed it against my back wall above my living room window, it created enough shade to keep my living room reasonably cool and also so my dog had some shade to lay in the garden. It was easy to assemble. I’m thinking of getting a couple more to place in other ‘corners’ of my garden. Would definitely recommend.
Really pleased with the material,stitching and robust hoops. Fixing kit bought separately and used straps to secure/tighten . Up for 5 days now and performed well in some heavy rain and strong winds. 5 stars from me!
Very pleased with purchase. Great quality and rain resistant. Super sturdy. Recommend you use the cord provided. Makes for much more secure fixing. Has provided excellent cover for corner garden patio area.

I bought this to put under the roof of aur terrace, because our roof is polycarbonate and it is very hot. Now we can stay there because this sun shaid sail is blocking the sun and is not hot. We are very happy with this product and we recommend to people who has polycarbonate roofing.
Previously had the 3 m triangular sale which didn’t give us enough shade from the sun. This one , the 5m x 5m x 7m is perfect for our needs. Took a few hours to get it fitted but now seems fairly safe and secure although we lower at night using the rope ratchet in case there’s strong winds or rain.
This is a great value product and looks and feels good quality too. Take care position fixing points as there is a bit of stretch so be prepared to have to move them to get good tension.
I wanted a triangular sun shade for my hot tub to stop rain and any debris from falling on it. This was the perfect size and works great in the space. I’ve had it fitted for 8 months now and it’s still doing its job with no issues.
This is easy to install and will prevent you slow-baking in direct sunlight.
Well made and has all the ‘bits’ to be successful. I’d add that doing a temporary install first, then tracking the sun through the day will help you find the ideal position.
1. The rope supplied is nylon and stretched enormously , I had to keep tightening every other day after strong winds – gave up after a week and bought some marine rope (6 for 10m)
Shame on the cost cutting other wise would be 5 star
2. I coulndt get a high enough rain drain angle (roof design wouldnt allow) so when it rained the water collected . It held probably 50 kg of water but has bellied and wont return – just a comment as its not really design for this
This is the second sunshade I have ordered.
Bought the first one a good few years ago and was good quality and a perfect fit for a gazebo frame I had.
Ordered a new one as it became aged with weather and bird droppings.
New one was slightly bigger than the original one and the fabric also had two damage holes in central area.
I disappointed returned it and given full refund as didn’t want to chance another poor quality replacement.
However company has since contacted me and provided a replacement free of charge to compensate for my disappointment.
This final sunshade has no damage and wanted compliment them on their good customer service and what is a good item.
It’s a great product for the price although it does leak along the central seam when it rains. It’s also bigger than expected, slightly over 3m to the eyelets and is continuing to stretch over time.

I am using this indoors across a sun-room. The product is very smart and looks good. It does the job nicely for a much better cost then blinds. The light color diffuses light nicely and takes away the glare from the glass reflection. Have used marine stainless steel fittings which make the sail and accessories very complimentary. Seams around the edges are well sown and neatly edged. An ring in each corner allows for anchor points and you get a length of chord type string as connections. As I mentioned I used different fittings, coming from a sailing background I know what I wanted to achieve as well as creating a quick real release sail for when taking it down at the end of summer. Have not used outdoors but I suspect you would need to fit at a fall to allow rain water to run off.
I fixed it using a fixing kit also from Amazon and install was straight forward.
I would say to be sure of your fixing points before buying and if it doesn’t work first time, rotate the sail. It is meant to be 4m even sides but as you can see in my picture, it isn’t quite symmetrical and I found it fitted better when changing it around.
Overall, recommend!
would have gave this product 5 stars, but until it’s been out side for a while, and proven. The sail is really made well with good stitching, and arrived very promptly. Would recommend this sale.
