I had a previous Xiaomi 4 which is still working. I decided to change to update but the new one doesn’t last the battery as much as the old one. It is a good band though.
Very good product for this price, perhaps the best in terms of quality. The Xiaomi app isn’t the best, even though there are some things really usuable.
In my case, I can use for 7/8 days without recharger, but can be better if you turn off the heart hate or something like that.
I love this! The display is amazingly brilliant and clear. The app has been really useful for me – I’ve been doing indoors cycling and it shows me when I’m doing warm up, fat burning, aerobic, anaerobic and ? exercise, which really incentivising. I am really enjoying the custom watch faces, which I change when I’m out in the evening. There’s so much functionality – text messages, weather, find my phone, flashlight, alarms and so much more. also – the PAI points are a really nice way of measuring health.
Screen size larger and brightness improved are both much welcomed.
Lots of extra workouts to choose from which better match the workouts I’m doing.
I had replaced the strap with a metal one – which I had done from my last band too.
The picture is of my band on my wrist (with replacement metal strap) and a custom watch face downloaded for free from the store – again this displays the info I want on the home screen. But there are plenty to choose from to find one that works for you.
Have bought the Xiaomi band 7, since I lost my previous Xiaomi band ( rubbish strap )
I also bought an elastic strap at the same time, to fit the band 7, seems to have solved the problem.
Took me a while to set up, my fault, rather than a problem with the activity band.
I changed the watch face, there does seem to be a large choice, and free!
I wanted a tracker that would record kilometers, or miles, as well as steps, and metres/kilometres are recorded in the step section on the app.
I like the fact that I can set an alarm, which I can snooze for 10 minutes, very useful (vibrates on the wrist)
Charged it to 100%, (was at 37% anyway on opening) didn’t seem to take too long at all.
Lots of functions I haven’t used yet, looking forward to using them.
Lots of features that my previous brand leader fitness band did not have.
Quick and long lasting charge.
However the display is too tiny for someone whose someone whose eyesight isn’t perfect.
My daughter broke her BAND 5 watch screen and this was a replacement. The bigger screen makes such a difference and she loves it. The battery life is outstanding and maybe just needs 1 charge per week. All the data is accurate and I can update everything quite easily via the Mi fitness app on my phone for her.
Really pleased with the purchase and would highly recommend. Some fit bit watches are really expensive but I think this one was good value.

Overall, the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 seems to be a great choice for anyone looking for an affordable and reliable activity tracker.
I had a Smart Band 6 and was very happy with it but it failed after I swam in the sea with it after 2.5 years. It should be waterproof but it was inexpensive. I was annoyed to find the screens for this one are not free, mostly being 1 EUR each, very cheap but irritating if you try it and don’t like a few. In operation, I find sometimes it flips to display a useless calendar or a timer screen instead of the time. I cannot find how to disable these and find this a backward step from the band 6
This is my first fitness tracker so I can’t compare to others but I really like it. Does what it’s supposed to do, easy enough to use and set up the app, small and discreet which I prefer, no problems so far, highly recommend.
I used a much older version of this product for a long time – it was the Band 3 and I really liked the battery life and the fact you could wear it 24/7.
This is a much more sophisticated tracker with a lot more features – I use it with the Zepp Life App which also syncs with Google Fit if you set it up.
I didn’t ever really like the original straps as they got too sweaty and caught on things – this time I’ve opted for elastic adjustable watch straps which are much more comfortable though clearly not waterproof.
Using Zepp Life there are not as many watch faces available as with the Mi Fitness App but I belive there are 3rd party Apps you can use – it’s not a major problem.
All in all so far so good.The thing I like is that I can continue using my regular watches something I probably wouldn’t have done if I’d gone down the smart watch route.
It’s a solid upgrade over Mi Band 6, with a larger, brighter screen and a nice colourful UI. The exercise tracking is better, with more information and analysis available to the previous model.
Overall this is still a great fitness tracker and you get a lot of value for the price. There are some annoyances though – my main issue is the coaching notifications that pop-up occasionally. I haven’t found a way to disable them. There’s a notification that popups in the morning with a summary of the previous day. It’s extra annoying. Some functions like the timer are less convenient compared to the previous band. The touchscreen also seems to be less responsive annoyingly. But that’s about it when it comes to the downsides.
A definite improvement over my old smart band 5 with the bigger display but I always used to have my 7 day Pai displayed on the old one which doesn’t seem to be possible on this one. In fact pai readings have certainly taken a back seat in favour of the calories,steps and standing rainbow indicator. Maybe it’s just me but after 7 or so runs I feel that the distance accuracy is slightly better than the band 5 (I don’t take my phone withe on runs so no GPS). Like always it charges fast and seemingly the charge lasts forever…
This smart watch delivers at every level. It provides all the info you need and stores it in an easy to use/understand app. It’s design is elegant and it offers great battery life. It competes well with far more expensive brand offerings.
This is different! You get a great tracker for a very good price. The screen is big and bright. You can see it clearly in full daylight and the clock faces are gorgeous. This tracker does everything that a Fitbit 3 times the price does, and looks nicer doing it.
Now, for the negative: the strap design is terrible. I saw other buyers saying it, but didn’t quite take it seriously, much to my regret. Whereas the strap doesn’t pop open by itself, it does so the moment it catches on anything, your jacket, bag… Mine came loose a couple of times and luckily didn’t fall off my wrist. That was, until yesterday, when it fell off as I was getting off the car, landed screen first and chipped a corner of the screen.
I am gutted to now have a damaged watch less than 1 week after buying it
My advice, go ahead and buy this product, but buy also screen protectors, or better a strap with a proper closure. The little pin attachment is just not good enough.
For me, I guess I will wait for the MiBand 8 and upgrade when it comes out, but I would have been way happier with being able to use this for a lot longer.
easy to set up. big enough display so that it fits nicely on my wrist, got all the function that i need from a smart band. very long battery life and charges fast.
Bought this to replace my band 6 which I misplaced.
The quality of the screen is very good and you can see the evolution since the earlier versions. Connected it via Zepp Life as with my previous band. Syncs with no problems. I haven’t used the exercise tracking features yet but heart rate, blood oxygen and steps seem fine. If you don’t have every single feature switched on, the battery life will easily last more than a week, probably two. Be aware that it uses your phones GPS so you must have your phone on you if you want to track where you’ve been. It syncs with Google Fit if you set it up.

I had been using a different watch and it was causing allergies. This hypoallergenic watch is really comfortable for my sensitive skin and works like a charm. I’m happy with this purchase and would absolutely recommend to everyone looking for a budget smartwatch.
Everything is packed in to this watch. So easy to navigate and Chang watch face. Battery lasts about week on one charge. It’s very lightweight on your wrist which is an added bonus. At the price it fantastic value for money. Had a major brand watch in the past and this to me is far superior at the fraction of the cost. As it says in the title my wife has stolen it from me and am now about to purchase another.
This would not pair with my phone,ordered a replacement.same problem,however using a different app it works perfectly using, mi fit instead of zepp life which was the one suggested,it now works perfectly
This watch does everything a higher end watch does. Really good app allows you to set targets. Can be tailored to work out or just general keeping fit. Long battery life , customisable displays Suberin value & reliable well made . 5*
