Without doubt it does work , cutting 6mm plywood. You need to very careful and take your time to get an accurate cut. For me it’s a bit to flexible, otherwise it ok and good value
This is the second one of these beautiful little saws I have purchased, one for me and the other one for me!
They have a dual cutting edge that is very sharp, a slim wooden handle held on with proper screws and a thin metal blade which is quite flexible. I bought this initially as a flush cut saw but find that I am using it more and more for light work, a bit of a revelation!
As to how long it will stay sharp cutting hardwood, we will see. There’s a caveat printed on the packaging that states ‘not fit for heavy work’ so just be sensible. Overall a very good ‘little’ saw.
This saw is nice and sharp and it makes light work of many different types of wood. It’s got a little flexibility which is nice and overall does a great job. 4/5
Great little saw, with enough flex to cut dowels and tenons flush with a surface. Sharp and good for a small kit bag as it’s not huge but still does a great job. It has different gauge teeth on either side and cuts on the pull stroke. it also has a hanging hole in the blade to store it on a wall. No sheath for storage though which may be an issue if you are putting it in a tool box, but being a leather worker for the day job this isn’t really an issue for me!
had to order this to finish my kitchen upgrade to cut the small woods where the bigger ones are bit difficult to use. initially had bit of hard time to use as i never used these small ones earlier, but after few min, it made the life easy. very smooth cutting and finest cuttings and the saw is somehow very flexible , it has great grip. I did not try on the garden stuff but for the kitchen project i have used is perfect.
Excellent cutting and very sharp. the fine teeth actually have 2rows so the cuts fault-free. finally i have found a good wood cutting tool for flush cuts. Try it, you cant be disappointed =) happy days
