Yideng Toy Saxophone for Kids, Plastic 8 Note Saxophone with Music Musical Instruments Early Education is an effective way of teaching young children the basic note following which is needed to learn to play an instrument. It has good instructions as well as easy to read music.
I was shocked at how loud the actual saxophone is when in use, therefore if you yourself do not like loud noises etc. I would advise earplugs, though no matter what earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones you use, the saxophone tones will break through!
I do like how colourful the musical instrument is as well as how good the actual product is designed perfectly for little hands to play it easily and effectively.

The saxophone is surprisingly versatile with a free play mode too! The volume is very loud too, but in a bad way if the kids spend too long using it. Batteries not included, requires AA batteries but they are cheap and easy to come by.
This is a great musical toy for kids to get used to musical instrument and learn. It is also suitable for smaller kids because it has lots of songs that it plays without you having to press any buttons. For bigger kids it can be nice to introduce them to how to play the saxophone. Even though I found it a bit difficult to blow in it in order for it to play. Nice bright and bold colors and different function buttons. I guess the battery lasts more or less depending on how much you play with it. There’s a volume button that well help you control the volume.
The saxophone is lightweight and comes with 5 sheet music cards which help to follow the colourful notes and play songs like “twinkle twinkle little star”.
There are lights on the front side of the saxophone where the speaker is positioned.
All the buttons are working well and are easy to press.
The saxophone doesn’t come with batteries,so you have to buy 3 AAA batteries separately.
The toy is well made and easy to use.
There is a button to turn ON and OFF the toy.
It is nice toy ,made to look like real saxophone and the kid can play songs and have fun.
The toy is great for children above 3 years old.
For me it is a bit of expensive toy and you don’t get batteries for this price.

My 6 year old loves this saxophone. It is sturdy enough for her to mimic jazz sax players and light weight enough to hang by the strap provided comfortably. its need 3AAA batteries. It has good variety of 10 songs, 6 rhythms, 1p plays, 10 solo, 10 ensembles, SHe spends hours at a time- mixing her own tunes with the pre-recorded tunes. One of the best gifts I have given he
Before buying, please note the technical details on the product page are incorrect. It says batteries not required; in fact it needs 3AAA batteries. They’re not supplied, but are easy enough to fit and then the item is good to run through it’s seemingly endless and extensive repertoire.
A word of warning, although this has sound adjustment, it’s quite noisy and could, I imagine, be intensely irritating if played with for a long time. It’s well made. The buttons are responsive and children of all ages, up to older adults, seem to enjoy messing around with this instrument. The plastic construction seems robust and it has a wide variety of play modes, rhythms and tunes. It’s a good value toy, well presented in a quality card box.
