This really is a well priced and functional alternative or replacement for a genuine pen. It works really well and it’s a good way to see if you really want to splash out on the genuine article. This pen is good and at a fraction of the price.

This is a very impressive product. It does almost everything that the Apple Pencil does and costs about one quarter of the price. Very pleased with the product. It looks and handles well and comes with two spare nibs.

As good as Apple but cheap and cheerful. I’m happy as the pen writes and responds very well.
Love it with wireless charging capability, hassle free. Amazing tip as feel similar to Apple ones. It’s also precise although I’m not sure if it’s 0.1mm, but very close from my experience.
It’s actually on the pricy end for a replacement pencil, but worth it in my opinion.

I’m no artist nor I’ve used apple pencil. But if you’re about notes or generally writing it’s perfect and simple enough to use. Pairs easily but works even if you don’t pair it.

The magnetism feature of this pen to the iPad is great and it means that it won’t get easily lost.

I like all the functions but I wish it was pressure sensitive for use with drawing apps.

The price is on the high side but otherwise this is a great stylus.

    Convenient & Practical Design.

    HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! AAA+++

Great product – was a little worried it wouldn’t be as good as a real Apple Pencil but was shocked how similar it is in size and feel. Doesn’t have pressure sensitivity but to be honest, you don’t notice it. It charges magnetically, connects quickly and comes with spare tips to replace when needed. Would definitely recommend for anyone who doesn’t want to spend a fortune on an Apple Pencil!

Seems great to use and a because I’m not a heavy use works perfect for me no Bluetooth which is great and palm rejection , I’m sure Apple version is far superior but also a lot more money, this pen is a great way to find out if you really do need one before spending a fortune on Apple pen. It also charges on my iPad Pro which is a bonus rather that looking around the house for a charge cable.

This stylus pen for iPad Pro 11″ 4/3/2/1, iPad Pro 12.9″ 6/5/4/3, iPad Air 4/5, and iPad Mini 6 wirelessly charges when you attach it to the side of your iPad. It pairs easily via Bluetooth and connects to Bluetooth shortcuts, such as going to the home screen, going to the menu by clicking or double-clicking the button. It has tilt sensitivity to make it easy to use different angles and thicknesses. Palm rejection means you can touch the screen while using the stylus without issues. There are additional tips provided in the pack, which is a nice touch.

I bought this stylus pen to use with my iPad Pro 12.9″ 6th Gen. I like that it has wireless magnetic charging like the original Apple Pencil 2nd Gen, and that it has moisture-proof and dust-proof material that protects it from sweat and splashes. It also has efficient shortcuts via Bluetooth, such as returning to the home screen or entering the multi-tasking menu with a click or double-click of the top button. The pen also has tilt function and palm rejection that make it easy to draw and write with different angles and pressure. The pen is very precise and responsive, with no lag or breakpoints.

The only downside is that the pen is a bit heavy compared to the original Apple Pencil, and that it sometimes disconnects from Bluetooth randomly. It also does not have pressure sensitivity, so it does not respond to different levels of force. However, these are minor issues that do not affect the overall functionality of the pen. Also, it is a bit on the pricey side compared to similar products.

The convenience of magnetic charging, the pleasing precision, and the benefit of being moisture-resistant all make this stylus an absolute pleasure to use. Sketching feels close to using an actual pencil, even down to tilting it for varied line thickness. For those of us that like to rest our hand on the screen, the palm rejection feature is a godsend.

The Metapen Pencil for iPads is one the new third-party apple pencils that supports wireless charging from the iPad itself. Metapen’s pencil only supports wireless charge from the iPad rather than the usb-c that some pencils have used.

I found that charging the pencil works just fine on my Mini and Pro iPads; a red LED lights up where the eraser should be to show its charging. A few minutes give you plenty of charge for 30 minutes of taking notes on a call. The eraser led lights up showing if it connected when you take it off the iPad. (You don’t need to pair it just works.)

It supports the iPad tilt detection so you can vary the width of strokes as you write or draw, when used with a paper feel screen protector it feels very close to a pencil on paper. My notes look very good in that combination. It supports all the pencil features like drawing shapes and having them snap to look even (circles etc) which is handy for diagrams. It works great with the handwriting recognition feature.

I am not a fan of thin pens; but the mostly round with a flat edge design feels good in my hand and I can write something other humans can almost read.

With my loss and breakage rate with pencils; and their convenience in meetings I have been using third-party apple pencils for a while. With wireless charging and its full compatibility, the Metapen pencil is as usable for me as the original pencil 2.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe Metapen Pencil A14 is a Wireless Magnetic Charging, weighing in at 16g the budget friendly alternative is in competition against the official Apple Pencil, but is it as good? Well lets find out, I have previously review other third party pencils, a lot of them required a separate charging cable. On the Metapen this inconvenience has been sorted as it charges on the side of my iPad 12.9″ M1 no need to bring along any cables.
What was even more astounding was that on the first time that I took the pencil out of the box, there was no need to mess around with pairing. All that I needed to do was magnetically attached the Pencil to the side of my device and it worked flawlessly from that point.

The manual does suggest pairing it via bluetooth, not noticed much difference apart from it stops bugging you with flashing red and white LED at the top of the pencil.

At the top of the pencil there is also a very small button that is use to wake up the pencil, as when it is fully charged and not used for a while then it goes into sleep mode, pressing the button top turns it on and connecting is almost instant, the wait is probably a second at most, there is no pop up on iPadOS and it just works immediately.

Navigate around the iPad is seamless and drawing is good although pressure sensitive is missing from it but it does have tilt and recognises extra pencil touching the surface.

Holding the pencil is as comfortable as their counterparts, the white is matt finished and the box includes 2 extra spare nibs. At under 30 it is a quarter of the price of the official. As a casual occasional doodler, I know which one I would choose – Yes, correct! The MetaPen A14 Pencil. This is an absolute bargain. No doubt about it.

A simple to use non Apple pencil for iPad 2nd generation. It has a magnetic attachment which makes charging a breeze and means you do not have to rely on cables. With its Bluetooth hotkey function and power display, it is so easy to use and user friendly. You can even safely use it outside as this model has been upgraded using moisture-proof and dust-proof materials for its construction. Its tilt sensitivity and palm rejection just add to its functionality and make it a great budget option replacement for the 2nd generation Apple pencil which has become horrendously expensive.

The pen is exactly what I required – I wanted to be able to use it in place of my finger as an intelligent stylus. A task it fulfils perfectly b

This works with the 2018 12.9 iPad Pro. Honestly a bit of an ‘upgrade’ over the current one I have (which isn’t an Apple Pencil anyway, but rather a cheaper knockoff of an Apple Pencil). Feels a bit more stable somehow when writing in GoodNotes. Neither are as good as an Apple Pencil 2 (which I have had in the past), for the simple fact that the Apple Pencil doesn’t need pairing as often. It IS pretty easy though. You just attach and reattach to the side, so it only takes a second, and it recharges via the iPad. Much better value than the Apple Pencil for certain.
