I installed two of these in the camper (bathroom) on the same wall to hold our towels on June 12, 2023. One fell off this past weekend while camping on July 9, 2023 but the other one is still holding up. A bit frustrated.

I had been looking for a hook like this for in my shower to hang the bath mat on rather than over the tap as I had been. The colour is perfect for the dark grey tile and was easy to stick on.

Just finished a complete bathroom re-do including new shower. Needed towel hooks and got these hooks to match the shower frame and fixtures. Applied the hooks exactly as instructed, (on glass subway tiles) but they did not hold up to the bath towels which may have exceeded the weight limit when wet. So heeding the suggestion of a previous reviewer, I used clear silicon sealant around the edges of the mounted hooks, allowed to dry for 24 hours. Now they hold perfectly and look just as stylish as I wanted. Very grateful to that reviewer for solving my problem.

We’ve had these up in our bathroom for about 2 months and they’ve been rock solid. They’ve had towels and dressing gowns on them pretty much constantly and no sign of coming off.

I ordered these as I moved into a new build house and did not want to drill holes everywhere. I have one of these in the downstairs toilet with a hand towel on, then 6 on bedrooms doors (2 per door). They have dressing gowns, jackets, bags, hats, etc on. No issues so far. Super easy to install. They have been securely in place for 4 months now. Recommend.

We have an odd setup. Our bathroom sink is in 2 bedrooms and we didn’t have a great place to hang hand towels. These are perfect and look great with our nickel finish

This is what “not plastic” costs – but they look and work great. Currently on a tile wall, not directly wet or humid, but easily holding heavy towels daily where the “Large Command Hooks” repeatedly failed and broke, even despite reinforcing them internally with epoxy. Now that I know these metal ones exist, there is no going back.

This hook was very easy to install. We placed on the shower wall so we could hang our daughter’s tub ( and various other items like car seat liner, etc) to drip dry. It has held a soaking wet baby lounger so I know it holds a lot.

It adheres to the flat surface just as it said it would.
Put in my closet behind the door on the wall.
Need to buy a couple more because they are strong and look good.
Easy to remove if you need to move them.

Easy to install and looks great. I have tried a few products for a towel hanging solution and this hook has been the only one strong enough to not fall off the wall when a wet towel is hung on it. I bought two and out them next to one another. They looked great. After installing, I waited 24 hours before hanging a wet towel on it to allow extra time for the adhesion to go to work.

i RECENTLY REMODELED MY BATHROOM. EVERYTHING WAS REPLACED. WHEN I PURCHASED THE TOWEL HOLDERS, I WENT WITH THE STANDARD BAR TYPES TO MATCH THE CABINET PULLS. WELL. I WANTED TO USE THE ADHESIVE TYPE BECAUSE I AM NOT HANDY WITH A HAMMER. I TRIED SO MANY DIFFERENT TOWEL HOLDERS AND NOTHING LOOKED RIGHT OR STAYED UP. I FINALLY GAVE UP AND SAW THIS METAL 3M HOOK. I WAS NOT SURE IT WOULD HOLD A REGULAR HAND TOWEL. THE WALL IS TEXTURED SO I WASN’T SURE IT WOULD WORK. WELL, I PUT IT UP THREE DAYS AGO AND ITS STILL THERE. IT SAVED ME SPACE AND A HEADACHE. IT LOOKS GREAT WITH A NICE BRUSHED NICKEL FINISH AND HOLDS A LARGER THAN NORMAL HAND TOWEL. I HAVE USED 3M HOOKS BEFORE, ALL PLASTIC. I LIKE THIS METAL ONE. I’M “HOOKED”.

I’ve had it up for about a week. So far its working fine holding up my shower towels.
Followed the instructions and cleaned surface with rubbing alcohol and didn’t use it for 24hrs after placing on wall and it seems to work.

Too early to say if the hook adheres well to the wall. I have had 2 of these hooks up in my bathroom for about 2 months. They look nice and were easy to install. So far they have stayed up!

I did not want to drill holes into my walls since we had recently renovated the house so I decided to try these out. I really like the look of these and they are very sturdy. I use them for our towels in both of our bathrooms and have had no issues so far.

Bought these hooks to install on my tile shower wall to hang my bathing suit, etc. when wet. They hold great and have not moved since I installed them. I did however install them and then did not use them for 24 hrs just to be sure. I wanted the metal hooks because they look classy in a nice bathroom.
The trick with Command hooks for the shower is to make sure you buy the ones with the water resistant icon on the package.

These things are great as usual and with the bath adhesive it should stick forever. The other ones I put up from 3 years ago are still there. These look way better than there clunky white counterparts but a bit narrower on the hook. The one thing I would warn about is that the picture of the product seems darker than what it really is. The look is very shiny so if you’re looking for dark, look for the brushed nickel or the bronze colors. This is about $2/3 more expensive because it uses the bath adhesive, not the general one.

Would get and easy 5 stars if they could get rid of the side to side wobble. They are sturdy but don’t inspire confidence with that wobble. I used one as a shower towel hook. After noticing the wobble I went to store and bought some silicone caulk and filled it up. It must have waited 3 days before taking a shower to make sure it was dry enough. Round two with silicone around the edges and wiped it down with a wet finger for nice smooth edges. Couple more days dry time and voila! Stylish permanent metal towel hook mounted over ceramic tile.

So far, I’m loving this Command product. I was so excited to find one that will work in a bathroom. This one can be hung in a shower or another spot in the bathroom. It has a different adhesive in the strip that is water resistant and super strong. The hook itself is much heavier than the normal plastic hooks. It has a nice nickel finish that looks more expensive than it is. I hung this in my shower to rehang a shaving mirror after the I had my bathroom remodeled. It’s been hanging on without incident as yet. This one does require a little extra time for prep. The hook actually slides off the back portion and you secure the sticky strip like normal. Then you push the back to the tile, not on the grout line, and leave it up for 24-hours. If you place it in the shower it also recommends that you shower with the strip up before re-attaching the hook to ensure a tight fit. Then the hook portion slides on easily and I was good to go. I would definitely recommend this to someone needing extra storage in a shower or bathroom.

It’s not often that an item exceeds my expectations, but these hooks did just that. I was reticent to buy them given the very high price point for such an item, but finally gave up on all the other ways to hang up my exercise clothes in the shower after rinsing them off. These have been getting used every day for over a month and are still firmly in place. They are very attractive and look good with the nickel fixtures. Well done, 3M!
