Summary: Good cable for price, works with series X for 4K content for 1440p output. It just does the job.
Do I recommend? Yes
Positives:
Cable works like the cable that comes with a series X so no compatibly issues.
Simple design.
Value.
Negatives:
Shame you can’t get a longer version of this.
Was looking cheap HDMI 2.1 cable as I didn’t want to spend a lot on just a single cable. Use it for my soundbar, does the job brilliantly. Additionally the cable does feel quite well made so hopefully it will continue to meet my expectations.
Amazon consistently have stock, good quality control and excellent support on top of being competitively priced. Their cables just work, don’t even think about buying a different one unless you have very specific needs. Coming in white is just a bonus here. No issues getting the most out of the 48gbps from PC to a 4k 120 TV including sometimes sound over the same cable.
I had been having issues for months with drop outs on anything I played UHD HDR on sky Q and my LG C9. Switched to these cables and problem fixed immediately. Tremendous value for money and I wish I had bought these years ago
Really good value for the latest HDMI standard cables direct from Amazon. Much better than some of the no name brands on here which are often a bit vague about which HDMI revision you’re getting.
Works perfectly, HDMI CEC and 4K 120Hz are all good.
Would highly recommend and great value for money.
Bought to replace a more expensive cable that had gone faulty. Using it on a 65” 4K TV connected to an Amazon Fire Cube.
Cable is a little on the bulky and a tad rigid side HDR/Dolby Vision works just fine with this. All in all, does what I need.
Bought it to connect my soundbar to my TV using eARC and it does the job just fine. Almost not long enough, but fitted with no room to spare so at least I don’t have excess cable flapping around.
Bought this cable after problems with Dolby Vision dropouts in a 4K Firestick>Denon AVC-X3700H>LG OLED55C9PLA chain. It didn’t fix these problems, but it did remove one possible cause.
Used the Denon’s inbuilt cable testing option to verify this cable: ‘passed…40Gbps’.
Another Amazon basics regular HDMI cable failed. As did a ‘free’ cable that came with a PS3. These cables had formerly worked fine in the setup and had produced fine-looking Dolby Vision images – which is what I’d expect with current sources. I was just trying to eliminate any reason for the dropouts other than the Denon misbehaving or unavoidable software updates on any of the devices.
10 is about the limit of what I’d like to pay for a connection cable, ‘high-speed’ or not. The 1.8m length is about right for a setup where things are close to each other: enough cable to route it smoothly but not so much it hangs around and gets in the way.
