The Amazon Basics DisplayPort 1.4 Cable is a solid buy. The 1.8-meter length works perfectly for my setup. It handles 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz without any issues, and the gold-plated plugs feel high quality. For the price, you really can’t go wrong with this one. Definitely a 5-star product.

    Display port cable

This worked as intended. Came with plastic caps over the ends to protect them. One thing to note is that the ends do not have locks, the other two cables I have lock-in to the socket and need a button to be pressed to disconnect/release it.

There isn’t much to say about this, but I’ve bought Amazon Basics cables before and find they are very nice quality, on some the cable housing is some of the best I’ve ever used with soft flex and rubbery coating so it seems they care a lot about quality and not just using cheap materials.

As the title says — works well, and doesn’t cost much.

One quite amusing thing is that this cable is extremely thick — to the point that it’s even thicker than the standard UK power cords. It doesn’t bother me much, but make sure that the weight of the cable doesn’t put a strain on the port that it’s connected to. Apart from that, all good!

Does the job, I thought my old cable may of had issues so to rule it out I got this one instead. I haven’t had an issue since. Definitely use a display port cable for your devices if they can take them over hdmi. Although either is fine but I just like the newest stuff.

Can’t really say much else about this. It does the job and can support high resolutions which most of us have these days.
