The 2 metres couldn’t reach that far, so I got a 3 metres long cable that can reach from my Xbox up to my tv!
The ports on the tv are on the opposite side from where the Xbox is, hence the 3 metres comes in.
HDMI is digital, so the quality of the cable is unimportant as long as it matches the specification of your needs. This obviously works, and is, as advertised, pretty flexible. At the price it is, it’s an absolute bargain. No reason why you should pay any more!!
Highly recommended.
The product is brilliant . . .it did the job. See other reviews for info on the need for expesive alternatives (there is no need).
The product description (on Amazon) is very accurate but make sure that it matches what you think you need it for . . . In my case, that the connection I required was “micro” not “mini” and that little gem was deep in the small print . . . . of the user manual !
I WANTED TO CONNECT MY CANNON TO MY LAPTOP SO USED THIS CABLE TO DO JUST THAT. i DID REQUIRE AN USB VIDEO CONVERTER (ALSO BOUGHT FROM AMAZON-CHEAP!) AND WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS. uSING MY REMOTE ON MY MOBILE I CAN CONTROL THE CAMERA WHILE WATCHING ON THE LAPTOP SCREEN.
The D in HDMI stands for Digital. The signal they send from one device to your TV/monitor is a digital signal. It’s not subject to interference or variations due to quality. It actually processes 2 signals, and they’re compared by the TV to make sure it’s right.
Dont bother with anything fancy expensive. Get a trusted brand name, and then get the cheapest one they have. It’ll work the same as the rest.
