How to use?
The Apple USB Camera Adapter allows you to import photos and videos from your camera onto your iPad or iPhone. The method of use is as follows:
- Insert the SD card in the camera or the USB cable connected to the camera into the corresponding interface of the adapter.
- Plug the adapter into the Lightning connector or USB-C connector on your iPad or iPhone (depending on your device model).
- If your device has automatic import enabled, it will automatically pop up the album and display photos and videos from the camera. If the auto import feature is not enabled, you can open the album app and select “Import” to view and import media files from the camera.
- If you want to save the imported photos and videos to iCloud, you can select the “Save to iCloud Photo Gallery” option after the import is completed.

I have found this useful for lots of device connections because Apple is such a pain with only having lightning. It works to upload the data but not to download it as far as I can tell and not to charge the device that’s got the usb either. Very useful to have..
It’s a good product, i can transfer my files from iphone to usb with this,
The only problem is that the metal part of it gets too hut so quickly
Useful to add accessories or transferring in/out photos.
Would be nice if there is a power in to charge while in use.
A simple plug in and ready to go.
Tried USB stick and keyboard, both seems working well.
And USB appear under Files.
Good handy adapter for under 10.
Was pleasantly surprised that audio and midi data were transmitted. Probably nothing to do with the actual cable, but it works well! How long it works for? Who knows, the last one of these I had didn’t last long at all. Feels good quality though!

This is a useful device which connects to your device, and I found the transfer of photos/files quick and easy to do. For compatibility, please check the sellers description. The adapter supports standard photo formats, like JPEG and RAW, and SD and HD video formats including H.264 and MPEG-4.
Overall, this product appears well made, easy to use and at a good price (at time of review 10.99).
There really isn’t too much to this, it’s a female USB A to lightning connector.
It works perfectly well and you can transfer files over from your camera, flash drive etc with very little difficulty to your Apple device. Solving an age old problem with Apple connectivity.
This enables connectivity at a low price.
