I had a previous one which snapped and was looking for a replacement .
The product is sturdy and adheres really well.
Happy with this purchase that is used in the kitchen for tea towels and will find other uses for the rest of the items
These stick in hooks are fab, although I suspect there will be damage in the wall if I try to remove them.
They are really sturdy and hold bags and heavy coats.
Stuck this hook to the back of my bathroom door to hang a towel. They are super strong so position carefully before sticking as they are very hard to remove.
Have two in each bathroom with hand towels on them. Up 6 months and haven’t moved. Love them. Also put 4 in my utility room for coats but they can’t take that weight.
These are great for the coat cupboard. Had them up for nearly three years now and still going strong. Bought another set to add a few more and to put one inside my wardrobe for my dressing gown. Highly recommend.
Great hooks, we’ve been using them for years. We’ve only had one fall off the wall once because it had about 5 winter jackets on it for a long period of time which was, of course, too heavy.
I have had a similar, but now discontinued, product before which were excellent. I have also had cheap plastic ones which were rubbish!
These fall somewhere in the middle. In the bathroom the two on the back of the door have ended up depositing towels on the floor so I have had to limit their use to lighter items. A bath towel was too much for it! The same happened in the utility room boiler cupboard. I was disappointed but may reattach them using a substantial glue.
They are easy to instal but make sure they are in the right place first as they may take off paint if on a wall etc.
The actual item is well made and attractive when on show…just a pity about the adhesive.
I would only recommend them if they are intended for light items.
Sorry but these aren’t proper 3M sticky products. They just fall off after a few weeks on a door with only a dressing down on them.
Ive used other 3M sticky hooks in my old home and had been on years. You could hang off them and they won’t come off.
Buyers beware. Look elsewhere. These aren’t upto the task. Not happy as they weren’t exactly cheap either.
Thought just peel off paper and stick them up only found instructions in bottom of box after stuck them up which states you have to warm them up with hairdryer first so they all fell off and weren’t as sticky second time but stayed up with a drop of glue good hooks though
These hooks are very convenient since you don’t have to go through all the hassle of drilling holes in the walls etc. I’m using them for my university halls and it does the jobs really well. I got to say though the adhesive could be better, since a couple of them have fallen off since I’ve had them (for nearly a month now). I guess “larger” coats aren’t suitable for these hooks.
I put 3 of these on the back of my bathroom door for bathroom sheet towels. They work perfectly. They’re impressively strong and look really nice, the hook keeps the towel on so it doesn’t slip. I got the silver ones. I also put one on a wall tile for the hand towel. I’ve got one left over incase I need a spare. But I’m so impressed. I did follow the instructions so I waited 24 hours before using them. And they look just like the other peoples photos. 100% recommend
These are brilliant! I can’t tell you the amount of ‘sticky’ or ‘sucker’ hooks I’ve got through to find a type to suit my needs! These are a little more expensive, perhaps, than some, but SO worth it!!
So far I’ve stuck mine to a ceramic tiled surface and a wooden (wardrobe) surface and both have stuck fast-very sturdy, no signs of coming unstuck. They appear to hold quite a bit of weight too, I hang x3 work tunics and a dressing gown from one hook and it doesn’t budge! When I stuck them up, I followed the instructions, cleans the surface with alcohol, heated the glue slightly with a hair dryer and held in place for 30 seconds… I didnt leave them for 24hrs though and they are fine.
My recommendation is BUY! You wont be disappointed.
